< Yohane 2 >

1 Ne nnansa so, nnipa bi hyiaa ayeforɔ wɔ Kana a ɛwɔ Galilea asase so. Yesu maame kɔɔ saa ayeforɔhyia no bi.
And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
2 Wɔtoo nsa frɛɛ Yesu ne nʼasuafoɔ no nso kɔɔ hɔ bi.
And Jesus also, and his disciples, were invited to the marriage.
3 Wɔgu so regye wɔn ani no, ayeforɔ no ase nsã saeɛ maa Yesu maame kɔɔ Yesu nkyɛn kɔka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Wɔn nsã a wɔrenom no asa.”
And wine being deficient, the mother of Jesus says to him, They have no wine.
4 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ ne maame sɛ, “Ɛdeɛn na wopɛsɛ me yɛ, me berɛ nnya nnuruiɛ.”
Jesus says to her, What have I to do with thee, woman? mine hour has not yet come.
5 Ne maame ka kyerɛɛ asomfoɔ no sɛ, “Biribiara a ɔbɛka sɛ monyɛ no, monyɛ.”
His mother says to the servants, Whatever he may say to you, do.
6 Na aboɔ nsuhina nsia sisi hɔ; yeinom mu na na Yudafoɔ de nsuo gu de hohoro wɔn ho amanneɛ kwan so. Na suhina biara tumi fa nsuo galɔn aduasa.
Now there were standing there six stone water-vessels, according to the purification of the Jews, holding two or three measures each.
7 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ asomfoɔ no sɛ, “Momfa nsuo nhyehyɛ nhina no ma ma.” Wɔde nsuo hyɛɛ no ma ma.
Jesus says to them, Fill the water-vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 Yesu ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monsa bi nkɔma onipa a ayeforɔ no ho ntotoeɛ hyɛ ne nsa no.”
And he says to them, Draw out now, and carry [it] to the feast-master. And they carried [it].
9 Deɛ ayeforɔ no ho ntotoeɛ hyɛ ne nsa no kaa nsuo no a adane nsã no hwɛeɛ. Na ɔnnim baabi a na nsã no firi, nanso na asomfoɔ no deɛ, wɔnim. Ɔfrɛɛ ayeforɔkunu no
But when the feast-master had tasted the water which had been made wine (and knew not whence it was, but the servants knew who drew the water), the feast-master calls the bridegroom,
10 ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ, “Saa nsã yi yɛ nsã pa. Wonte sɛ afoforɔ a wɔaka no. Obiara a ɔto ɛpono de nsã pa di ɛkan ba wɔ nʼapontoɔ ase, na akyire yi, ɔde nsã a ɛnni mu aba. Nanso, wo deɛ, wode nsã pa no atwa toɔ!”
and says to him, Every man sets on first the good wine, and when [men] have well drunk, then the inferior; thou hast kept the good wine till now.
11 Saa nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a Yesu yɛɛ wɔ Kana a ɛwɔ Galilea asase so no ne nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a ɛdi ɛkan a ɔyɛɛ wɔ badwam de kyerɛɛ sɛ ne tumi firi ɔsoro. Ɛmaa nʼasuafoɔ no nso gyee no dii sɛ, ampa ara, ɔno ne Agyenkwa no.
This beginning of signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 Ayeforɔhyia no akyi, ɔne ne maame ne ne nuanom ne nʼasuafoɔ no dii nna kakra wɔ Kapernaum.
After this he descended to Capernaum, he and his mother and his brethren and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.
13 Esiane sɛ na Yudafoɔ Twam Afahyɛ no rebɛduru no enti, Yesu kɔɔ Yerusalem.
And the passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 Ɔduruu asɔredan no mu hɔ no, ɔhunuu sɛ adwadifoɔ bi nso tete wɔn apono akyi resesa sika.
And he found in the temple the sellers of oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting;
15 Yesu faa ntampehoma, yɛɛ no mpire, de pamoo sikasesafoɔ no ne wɔn nnwan ne wɔn anantwie no firii asɔredan mu hɔ, kaa wɔn apono guiɛ maa wɔn sika a wɔresesa no nyinaa bɔ pansamee.
and, having made a scourge of cords, he cast [them] all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the change of the money-changers, and overturned the tables,
16 Afei, ɔkɔɔ wɔn a wɔtɔn mmorɔnoma no so ka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Monsesa wɔn mfiri ha nkɔ ntɛm! Mommfa mʼAgya fie nyɛ adwadibea!”
and said to the sellers of doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.
17 Asuafoɔ no kaa sɛ, wɔatwerɛ wɔ Atwerɛsɛm no mu sɛ, “Wo fie yiedie ho dadwene ahyɛ me so.”
[And] his disciples remembered that it is written, The zeal of thy house devours me.
18 Afei, Yudafoɔ mpanin no bisaa Yesu sɛ, “Tumi bɛn na wowɔ a enti wopamoo nnipa no? Yɛ nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ bi fa di adanseɛ sɛ Onyankopɔn na ɔmaa wo saa tumi no.”
The Jews therefore answered and said to him, What sign shewest thou to us, that thou doest these things?
19 Yesu buaa wɔn sɛ, “Mate deɛ moaka no. Nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a mede bɛdi adanseɛ ara ne sɛ, mommubu asɔredan yi ngu na mede nnansa bɛsi bio.”
Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Yudafoɔ mpanin no tee asɛm a Yesu kaeɛ no, wɔbisaa no sɛ, “Asɔredan a wɔde mfeɛ aduanan nsia siiɛ no, na wode nnansa bɛtumi asi?”
The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple building, and thou wilt raise it up in three days?
21 Nanso, Yesu deɛ, na ɔde ɔno ankasa ne onipadua na ɛreyɛ asɔredan no mfatoho,
But he spoke of the temple of his body.
22 Yesu wusɔreɛ no akyi ansa na asuafoɔ no kaee asɛm a ɔkaeɛ no. Yei ma wɔgyee Atwerɛsɛm ne nsɛm a Yesu kaeɛ no diiɛ.
When therefore he was raised from among [the] dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.
23 Ɛberɛ a Twam Afahyɛ no duruiɛ a na Yesu wɔ Yerusalem no, nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ ahodoɔ bebree maa nnipa gyee no diiɛ.
And when he was in Jerusalem, at the passover, at the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he wrought.
24 Nanso, Yesu amfa ne ho anto wɔn so, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɔnim sɛdeɛ nnipa suban te.
But Jesus himself did not trust himself to them, because he knew all [men],
25 Na ɔnhia onipa adanseɛ a ɔbɛdi afa onipa ho, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɔnim deɛ ɛwɔ onipa mu.
and that he had not need that any should testify of man, for himself knew what was in man.
