< Hiob 32 >
1 Enti saa mmarima baasa yi ammua Hiob bio, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɔtene wɔ ɔno ara ani so.
So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he [was] righteous in his own eyes.
2 Na Busini Barakel babarima Elihu a ɔfiri Ram abusua mu no bo fuu Hiob yie sɛ ɔbu ne ho bem na ɔmmu Onyankopɔn mmom bem.
Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
3 Ne bo fuu nnamfonom baasa no sɛ wɔantumi anya nnyinasoɔ bi ammɔ Hiob nsɛm no angu, nanso wɔbuu no fɔ.
Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and [yet] had condemned Job.
4 Elihu twɛnee sɛ afoforɔ no bɛkasa akyerɛ Hiob, ɛfiri sɛ, na wɔanyinyini sene no.
Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken because they [were] older than he.
5 Na ɔhunuu sɛ nnipa baasa no nni asɛm biara ka bio no, nʼabufuo sɔreeɛ.
When Elihu saw that [there was] no answer in the mouth of [these] three men, then his wrath was kindled.
6 Enti Busini Barakel babarima Elihu kaa sɛ, “Meyɛ abɔfra, na moyɛ mpanimfoɔ; ɛno enti na mesuroo sɛ mɛka deɛ menim akyerɛ mo.
And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I [am] young, and ye [are] very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you my opinion.
7 Medwenee sɛ, ‘Ɛsɛ sɛ mpanimfoɔ kasa; ɛsɛ sɛ wɔn a wɔn ani afire kyerɛ nyansa.’
I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
8 Nanso honhom a ɛte onipa mu, Otumfoɔ no ahomeɛ no na ɛma nteaseɛ.
But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
9 Ɛnyɛ mpanimfoɔ nko na wɔyɛ anyansafoɔ, ɛnyɛ wɔn a wɔn ani afire nko na wɔte deɛ ɛyɛ ase.
Great men are not [always] wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
10 “Enti mese: Montie me; me nso mɛka mʼadwene.
Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show my opinion.
11 Metwɛneeɛ wɔ ɛberɛ a morekasa, metiee mo adwenkyerɛ; ɛberɛ a na monhunu deɛ monka no,
Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
12 meyɛɛ aso maa mo pa ara, nanso mo mu biara antumi ankyerɛ sɛ Hiob ayɛ mfomsoɔ; mo mu biara anyi nʼanosɛm ano.
Yes, I attended to you, and behold, [there was] none of you that convinced Job, [or] that answered his words:
13 Monnka sɛ, ‘Ɔnim nyansa; Onyankopɔn nko ara na ɔbɛtumi asesa nʼadwene.’
Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
14 Sɛ Hiob ne me kasaeɛ a, anka merennyina mo adwenkyerɛ no so mmua no.
Now he hath not directed [his] words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
15 “Mo ho adwiri mo, monni hwee ka bio; mo nsɛm asa.
They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
16 Ɛsɛ sɛ metwɛn wɔ ɛberɛ a moayɛ komm yi, saa ɛberɛ a mo monni mmuaeɛ biara de ma yi?
When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, [and] answered no more; )
17 Me nso mɛka bi me nso mɛka mʼadwene.
[I said], I will answer also my part, I also will show my opinion.
18 Ɛfiri sɛ, nsɛm ahyɛ mʼanomu ma, na honhom a ɛte me mu no hyɛ me sɛ menka;
For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
19 Me mu no, mete sɛ nsa a ɛhyɛ toa mu; Me te sɛ nsã kotokuo foforɔ a ɛrebɛpae.
Behold, my belly [is] as wine [which] hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
20 Ɛsɛ sɛ mekasa na me ho tɔ me; ɛsɛ sɛ mebue mʼano na me ma mmuaeɛ.
I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
21 Merenyɛ animhwɛ na merenkorɔkorɔ obiara.
Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles to man.
22 Na sɛ makwadare akorɔkorɔ mu a, anka me Yɛfoɔ bɛyi me afiri hɔ ntɛm so.
For I know not to give flattering titles; [in so doing], my Maker would soon take me away.
