< Hiob 27 >
1 Hiob toaa nʼasɛm so sɛ,
And Job again took up his measure, and said: —
2 “Sɛ Onyankopɔn te ase yi, ɔno a wammu me atɛntenenee, Otumfoɔ a wama madi me kra mu awerɛhoɔ;
As GOD liveth who hath taken away my right, even the Almighty, who hath embittered my soul;
3 mmerɛ dodoɔ a nkwa wɔ me mu, na Onyankopɔn homeɛ wɔ me mu yi,
All the while my inspiration is in me, and the spirit of GOD is in my nostrils,
4 mʼano renka amumuyɛsɛm, na me tɛkrɛma rentwa nkontompo.
Verily my lips shall not speak perversity, nor shall, my tongue, utter deceit.
5 Merennye nto mu da sɛ deɛ woka no yɛ nokorɛ; merenka me mudie nhyɛ, kɔsi sɛ mɛwuo.
Far be it from me! that I should justify, you, —Even until I breathe my last, will I not let go mine integrity from me:
6 Mɛkura me tenenee mu. Merennyaa mu; sɛ mete ase yi, me tiboa remmu me fɔ.
On my righteousness, have I taken fast hold, and will not give it up, My heart shall not reproach any of my days.
7 “Ma mʼatamfoɔ nyɛ sɛ amumuyɛfoɔ, na wɔn a wɔkyiri me nyɛ sɛ atorofoɔ.
Let mine enemy be a veritably lawless one! And, he that lifteth himself up against me, one veritably perverse!
8 Anidasoɔ bɛn na deɛ ɔnni nyamesu no wɔ wɔ ne wuo akyi, ɛberɛ a Onyankopɔn agye ne nkwa afiri ne nsam?
For what shall be the hope of the impious, though he graspeth with greed, when GOD shall draw forth his soul?
9 Onyankopɔn tie ne sufrɛ ɛberɛ a amanehunu aba ne so anaa?
His outcry, will GOD hear, when there cometh upon him distress?
10 Nʼani bɛgye wɔ Otumfoɔ mu? Ɔbɛsu afrɛ Onyankopɔn ɛberɛ biara anaa?
Verily, in the Almighty, he will not find delight, nor call on GOD continually!
11 “Mɛma mo Onyankopɔn tumi ho nkyerɛkyerɛ; meremfa Otumfoɔ no akwan nhinta.
I would teach you, by the hand of GOD, That which is with the Almighty, will I not conceal.
12 Mo ankasa moahunu yeinom nyinaa. Afei nsɛnhunu yi ase ne sɛn?
Lo! ye, have, all of you, seen, Wherefore, then, is it, that ye are utterly without purpose?
13 “Yei ne deɛ Onyankopɔn ahyɛ ato hɔ ama omumuyɛfoɔ, agyapadeɛ a otirimuɔdenfoɔ nya firi Otumfoɔ nkyɛn:
This, is the portion of a lawless man with GOD, That, the heritage of tyrants—from the Almighty, he shall receive.
14 Sɛ ɔwɔ mma dodoɔ sɛn ara, wɔn hyɛberɛ ne akofena; na nʼasefoɔ rennidi mmee da.
If his children be multiplied, for them, [there is] the sword, and, his offspring, shall not be filled with bread;
15 Ɔyaredɔm bɛsie wɔn a wɔbɛka wɔ nʼakyi, na wɔn akunafoɔ rensu wɔn.
His survivors, by pestilence, shall come to the grave, and, his widows, shall not weep;
16 Ɛwom sɛ ɔhɔre dwetɛ te sɛ mfuturo na ɔboa ntoma ano sɛ dɔteɛ deɛ,
Though he heap up silver like, dust, and, like a pile, he prepare clothing,
17 nanso deɛ ɔpɛ gu hɔ no, ateneneefoɔ na wɔbɛfira na pɛpɛfoɔ no nso akyekyɛ dwetɛ no.
He may prepare, but, the righteous, shall put on, and, the silver, shall the innocent apportion.
18 Efie a ɔsi no te sɛ ananse afafa, ɛte sɛ pata bi a ɔwɛmfoɔ abɔ.
He hath built, like a moth, his house, —like a hut, which a watcher hath made.
19 Ɔda hɔ te sɛ ɔdefoɔ, nanso ɔrenna saa bio; ɔbɛte nʼani no na ne nyinaa atu ayera.
The rich man, shall lie down, and not do it again, his eyes, hath he opened, and then is not.
20 Ahunahuna ba ne so sɛ nsuyire; ahum hwim no kɔ anadwo.
There shall reach him—like waters—terrors, By night, a storm-wind hath stolen him away;
21 Apueeɛ mframa soa no kɔ, na ɔnni hɔ bio; ɛtwe no firi ne teberɛ.
An east wind shall lift him up, and he shall depart, and it shall sweep him away out of his place;
22 Ɛbɔ no a ahummɔborɔ nni mu ɛberɛ a ɔredwane afiri ne tumi ase.
And He will cast upon him and not spare, Out of his hand, shall he, swiftly flee;
23 Ɔde fɛ bɔ ne nsam na ɔpamoo no firi ne teberɛ.”
He shall clap over him his hands, and shall hiss him forth out of his place.
