< Yeremia 30 >
1 Asɛm a ɛfiri Awurade nkyɛn baa Yeremia hɔ nie:
The word which came unto Jeremiah, from Yahweh, saying: —
Thus, speaketh Yahweh, God of Israel, saying, —Write thee all the words which I have spoken unto thee in a scroll;
3 Nna bi reba,’ sɛdeɛ Awurade seɛ, ‘a mede me nkurɔfoɔ Israelfoɔ ne Yudafoɔ bɛfiri nnommum mu asane aba na mede wɔn aba asase a mede me maa wɔn agyanom sɛ wɔmfa ntena so,’ Awurade na ɔseɛ.”
For lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, when I will turn the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, Saith Yahweh, —and will bring them back into the land which I gave to their fathers that they might possess it.
4 Yei ne nsɛm a Awurade ka faa Israel ne Yuda ho:
Now, these, are the words which Yahweh hath spoken against Israel and against Judah:
5 “Deɛ Awurade seɛ nie: “‘Akomatuo nteateam na mete, mete ehu, na ɛnyɛ asomdwoeɛ.
Yea, thus, saith Yahweh, A voice of trembling, have we heard, Dread and not welfare!
Ask, I pray you, and see, whether a male travaileth with child! Why have I seen Every man with his hands upon his loins like a woman in travail, and Every face turned into ghastliness?
7 Sɛdeɛ da no bɛyɛ hu afa! Ɛda biara renyɛ sɛ ɛno. Ɛbɛyɛ amanehunu berɛ ama Yakob, nanso, wɔbɛyi no afiri mu.
Alas! for, great, is that day, so that none is like it, —Yea, a time of anguish it is for Jacob, But out of it, shall he be saved.
8 “‘Saa ɛda no,’ Asafo Awurade na ɔseɛ, ‘Mɛbubu kɔnnua no afiri wɔn kɔn mu, na matete wɔn nkyehoma no mu; ananafoɔ remfa wɔn nyɛ nkoa bio.
And it shall come to pass in that day, Declareth Yahweh of hosts, That I will break his yoke from off thy neck, And thy bonds, will I tear off, —And foreigners shall use him as a slave no more;
9 Na mmom wɔbɛsom Awurade, wɔn Onyankopɔn ne Dawid wɔn ɔhene, a mɛpagya no ama wɔn.
But they shall serve Yahweh their God, —and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
10 “‘Enti nsuro, Ao Yakob, me ɔsomfoɔ; mma wʼaba mu mmu, Ao Israel,’ deɛ Awurade seɛ nie. ‘Nokorɛm mɛgye wo afiri akyirikyiri, ne wʼasefoɔ afiri wɔn nnommumfa asase so. Yakob bɛsane anya asomdwoeɛ ne banbɔ na obiara renhunahuna no bio.
Thou therefore do not fear O my Servant Jacob Urgeth Yahweh, Neither be thou dismayed, O Israel, For behold me! saving thee from afar And thy seed out of the land of their captivity, —Then shall Jacob return, and rest and be quiet, And there shall be none to make him afraid;
11 Me ne wo wɔ hɔ na mɛgye wo nkwa,’ Awurade na ɔseɛ. ‘Ɛwom sɛ mesɛe amanaman no nyinaa pasaa, wɔn a mebɔ mo hwete wɔ wɔn mu no, nanso merensɛe mo korakora. Mɛtenetene mo nanso mɛyɛ no tenenee ɛkwan so; meremma mo mfa mo ho nni koraa a merentwe mo aso.’
For with thee, am, I, Declareth Yahweh To save thee, —Though I make an end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee, Yet will I not of thee, make an end, But will chastise thee in measure, not holding thee, guiltless!
For Thus, saith Yahweh—incurable is thine injury, —Grievous is thy wound:
13 Obiara nni hɔ a ɔbɛka bi ama wo, wo kuro no rennya aduro, na worennya ayaresa.
There is none to plead thy cause for binding thee up, —Healing bandages, hast thou none:
14 Wʼapamfoɔ nyinaa werɛ afiri wo; wo ho biribiara mfa wɔn ho. Mabɔ wo sɛdeɛ wo ɔtamfoɔ bɛyɛ na matwe wʼaso sɛdeɛ otirimuɔdenfoɔ bɛtwe, ɛfiri sɛ wʼafɔdie so dodo na wʼamumuyɛ nso dɔɔso.
All thy lovers, have forgotten thee, Thyself, do they not seek, —For With the wounding of an enemy, have I wounded thee With the correction of one who is cruel, Because of the abounding of thine iniquity, Because numerous have been thy sins.
15 Adɛn enti na wosu denden wɔ wʼapirakuro ho, wo yeadie a ano nni aduro ho? Wʼafɔdie kɛseɛ ne wʼamumuyɛ bebrebe enti na mede saa nneɛma yi ayɛ woɔ.
Why shouldst thou make outcry over thine injury, Incurable is thy pain? Because of the abounding of thine iniquity, [Because] numerous have been thy sins Have I done these things unto thee.
16 “‘Nanso wɔbɛsɛe wɔn a wɔsɛe mo; mo atamfoɔ nyinaa bɛkɔ nnommumfa mu. Wɔn a wɔfom mo no, wɔbɛfom wɔn. Wɔn a wɔto hyɛɛ mo so no, mɛto ahyɛ wɔn so.
Therefore, all who devour thee, shall be devoured, And, all thine adversaries—all of them, into captivity, shall depart, —So shall they who plundered thee, be plundered, And all who preyed upon thee, will I deliver up as a prey.
17 Nanso mɛma wo ahoɔden bio na masa wo apirakuro,’ Awurade na ɔseɛ, ‘ɛfiri sɛ wɔfrɛ wo deɛ wɔapam noɔ, Sion a wo ho nhia obiara.’
For I will put a bandage upon thee, And from thy wounds, will I heal thee Declareth Yahweh, —Because An outcast, they called thee, ‘Tis, Zion! who hath none to ask for her welfare,
18 “Yei ne deɛ Awurade seɛ: “‘Mɛsane de Yakob ntomadan mu ahonyadeɛ aba na manya ayamhyehyeɛ ama nʼatenaeɛ ahodoɔ no; wɔbɛkyekyere kuropɔn no bio wɔ ne mmubuiɛ so, na ahemfie no bɛsi deɛ ɛsɛ sɛ ɛsie.
Thus, saith Yahweh—Behold me! bringing back the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And on his habitations, will I have compassion, —So shall the city be built, upon her own mound, And the citadel, upon its own site, shall remain:
19 Wɔn mu na aseda nnwom bɛfiri aba ne ahosɛpɛ nnyegyeɛ. Mɛma wɔadɔɔso, na wɔn dodoɔ no so rente; mɛhyɛ wɔn animuonyam, na wɔremmu wɔn abomfiaa.
So shall there proceed from them thanksgiving, and The sound of them who make merry, —And I will multiply them, and they shall not become few, And will make them honourable, and they shall not be despised:
20 Wɔn mma bɛdi yie sɛ kane no, mɛma wɔn asafo atim wɔ mʼanim; wɔn a wɔhyɛ wɔn so nyinaa mɛtwe wɔn aso.
And, his sons, shall come to be as aforetime, And, his assembly, before me, shall continue, —And I will bring punishment on all his oppressors;
21 Wɔn adikanfoɔ bɛyɛ wɔn mu baako; na wɔn sodifoɔ bɛfiri wɔn mu. Mɛka no abata me ho na wabɛn me, na hwan na ɔno ankasa bɛtumi de ne ho ama sɛ ɔbɛbɛn me?’ Awurade na ɔseɛ.
And, his illustrious one, shall spring, from himself, And his ruler, from his own midst, shall proceed, And I will bring him near and he shall approach unto me, —For who is there that hath pledged his own heart to approach unto me? Demandeth Yahweh:
22 ‘Enti mobɛyɛ me nkurɔfoɔ, na mayɛ mo Onyankopɔn.’”
So shall ye become my people; And, I, will become your God.
23 Hwɛ, Awurade ahum bɛtu abufuhyeɛ mu, ntwahoframa bɛdi kyinhyia wɔ amumuyɛfoɔ mpampam.
Lo! the tempest of Yahweh! Indignation, hath come forth, A tempest rolling itself upward, —Upon the head of the lawless ones, shall it hurl itself down!
24 Awurade abufuo rennwo kɔsi sɛ ɔbɛwie nʼakoma mu nhyehyɛeɛ nyinaa. Nna a ɛreba no mu no mobɛte yei ase.
The fierceness of the anger of Yahweh will not turn back, Until he hath executed nor Until he hath established The purposes of his heart, —In the afterpart of the days, shall ye understand it.
