< Yesaia 60 >
1 “Sɔre, hyerɛn, na wo hann aba, na Awurade animuonyam apue wo so.
Stand up and shine, for your light has come; the glory of the Lord has risen on you.
2 Hwɛ, esum akata asase so na esum kabii akata aman no so, nanso Awurade apue wo so na nʼanimuonyam ada adi wɔ wo so.
Even though darkness covers the earth, and deep darkness covers the people, the Lord has risen to shine on you, and his glory appears over you.
3 Amanaman bɛba wo hann no mu, na Ahemfo bɛba wo adekyeɛ hann no mo.
Nations will come to your light, and kings will come to the brightness of your shining dawn.
4 “Ma wʼani so na hwɛ wo ho hyia: wɔn nyinaa aboa wɔn ho ano reba wo nkyɛn; wo mmammarima fifiri akyirikyiri, na wɔkura wo mmammaa wɔ abasa so.
Look all around you, and see everyone gathering and coming to you—your sons returning from far away, your young daughters being carried on the hip.
5 Afei wobɛhwɛ na wʼanim ate, wʼakoma bɛbɔ na anigyeɛ ahyɛ no ma; ahonya a ɛwɔ ɛpo so, wɔde bɛbrɛ wo, na amanaman no ahodeɛ nso bɛba wo nkyɛn.
Then you will see and shine brilliantly, your heart will beat wildly for joy, for the riches that cross the sea, the wealth of the nations, will be brought to you.
6 Yoma akuakuo bɛyɛ wʼasase so ma, yomaforɔ a wofiri Midian ne Efa. Na wɔn a wɔfiri Seba nyinaa bɛba, wɔsoso sika kɔkɔɔ ne nnuhwam na wɔpae mu ka Awurade ayɛyie.
Long caravans of camels will cover the land, young camels of Midian and Ephah. All the people of Sheba will come to you carrying gold and frankincense, shouting praises to the Lord.
7 Wɔbɛboaboa Kedar nnwankuo nyinaa ano abrɛ wo, Nebaiot nnwennini bɛsom wo; wɔbɛgye wɔn sɛ afɔrebɔdeɛ wɔ mʼafɔrebukyia so, na mɛhyɛ mʼasɔredan kronkron no animuonyam.
All the flocks of Kedar will be brought to you, the rams of Nebaioth will be placed at your disposal. I will accept them as they are sacrificed on my altar, and I will glorify the Temple where I'm honored.
8 “Hwannom ne yeinom a wɔtu sɛ omununkum, te sɛ mmorɔnoma a wɔrekɔ wɔn pirebuo mu yi?
What are these flying like a cloud, flying like pigeons returning to their roost?
9 Ampa ara nsupɔ no ani da me so; Tarsis ahyɛn na wɔdi anim, wɔde wo mmammarima fifiri akyirikyiri reba, wɔsoso wɔn dwetɛ ne wɔn sika kɔkɔɔ, de rebɛhyɛ Awurade, wo Onyankopɔn animuonyam, Israel Kronkronni No, ɛfiri sɛ wahyɛ wo animuonyam.
Coming from the islands that trust in me, these are ships led by those of Tarshish, bringing your children home from far away, carrying with them silver and gold. They come to honor of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has made you glorious.
10 “Ananafoɔ bɛto wʼafasuo no bio, na wɔn ahemfo bɛsom wo. Ɛwom sɛ mede abufuo asɛe wo deɛ, nanso menam adom so bɛhunu wo mmɔbɔ.
Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will work for you. Even though I did hit you when I was angry with you, now I will be kind and merciful to you.
11 Wʼapono ano bɛdeda hɔ ɛberɛ biara, wɔrentoto mu awia anaa anadwo, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a nkurɔfoɔ de amanaman no ahonya bɛbrɛ wo, a wɔn ahemfo di nkonimdie santen no anim.
Your gates will always be kept open. They won't ever be shut, day or night, so the wealth of the nations can be brought to you, with their kings being led along in a procession.
12 Na ɔman anaa ahennie a wɔrensom wo no bɛyera, wɔbɛsɛe no pasaa.
Any nation or kingdom that does not serve you will be completely destroyed.
13 “Lebanon animuonyam bɛba wo nkyɛn, pepeaa, sɛsɛ ne kwabɔhɔrɔ bɛbɔ mu, abɛsiesie me kronkronbea hɔ; na mɛhyɛ beaeɛ a menan sisi no animuonyam.
The glory of Lebanon will come to you: cedars, acacias, and myrtle trees, to make my Temple beautiful and to honor the place I choose to live.
14 Wo nhyɛsofoɔ mmammarima bɛba abɛkoto wo; wɔn a wɔbu wo animtia nyinaa bɛkoto wo nan ase na wɔbɛfrɛ wo Awurade Kuropɔn, Israel Kronkronni, Sion.
The children of those who persecuted you will come and bow before you; everyone who looked down on you will bow down at your feet and will call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 “Ɛwom sɛ wɔapa wʼakyi atane wo, a obiara ntu kwan mfa wo mu, nanso mɛyɛ wo ahohoahoadeɛ a ɛte hɔ daa ne awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nyinaa anigyedeɛ.
Once you were abandoned and despised, somewhere people didn't go, but now I will make you a place to be proud of forever, a joy to every generation.
16 Wobɛnom amanaman nufosuo no na woanum adehyeɛ nufoɔ. Afei wobɛhunu sɛ me Awurade, me ne wo Agyenkwa, wo gyefoɔ, Yakob Otumfoɔ no.
Nations will provide you with what you need, kings will take care of you as if you were their own children. You will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Mede sikakɔkɔɔ bɛsi kɔbere anan mu abrɛ wo, na dwetɛ asi dadeɛ anan mu. Mede kɔbere bɛsi dua anan mu abrɛ wo, na dadeɛ asi aboɔ anan mu. Mede asomdwoeɛ bɛyɛ wo so amrado na tenenee ayɛ wo sodifoɔ.
I will bring you gold instead of bronze, silver instead of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stone. I will appoint Peace as your watchman, and Goodness as your leader.
18 Wɔrente awurukasɛm wɔ wʼasase so bio, anaa mmubuiɛ ne ɔsɛeɛ wɔ wʼahyeɛ so. Na mmom wobɛfrɛ wʼafasuo sɛ Nkwagyeɛ ne wʼapono sɛ Ayɛyie.
There won't be any more violence in your land, no more devastation and destruction within your borders. You will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
19 Owia renyɛ wo hann adekyeɛ mu bio na ɔsrane hann renhyerɛn wo so, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade bɛyɛ wo daapem hann, na wo Onyankopɔn bɛyɛ wo animuonyam.
You won't need the light of the sun during the day, or the light of the moon at night, for the Lord your God will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
20 Wʼawia rentɔ bio, wo srane rennum bio, Awurade bɛyɛ wo daapem hann, na wʼawerɛhoɔ nna to bɛtwa.
Your sun will never set, and your moon will never wane, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your time of mourning will end.
21 Na afei wo nkurɔfoɔ nyinaa bɛyɛ teneneefoɔ na wɔbɛfa asase no adi so afebɔɔ. Wɔyɛ adeɛ a madua na afefɛ me nsa ano adwuma a ɛbɛda mʼanimuonyam adi.
All your people will be good, and they will own the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted with my hands, and they will reveal my glory.
22 Mo mu akumaa koraa bɛdɔre ayɛ apem, na ketewa no ayɛ ɔman kɛseɛ. Mene Awurade; na ne berɛ mu, mɛyɛ yei ntɛm so.”
The smallest of your families will increase to a thousand, and the most insignificant will become a great nation. I am the Lord; at the right time I will do this quickly.
