< Yesaia 57 >

1 Ateneneefoɔ wu, na obiara nnwene ho wɔ nʼakoma mu; wɔfa Nyamesurofoɔ kɔ, na obiara nte aseɛ sɛ wɔfa teneneefoɔ kɔ sɛdeɛ wɔbɛyi wɔn afiri bɔne mu.
The righteous perish, and no one lays it to heart. Merciful men are taken away, and no one considers that the righteous is taken away from the evil.
2 Wɔn a wɔnante tee no wɔhyɛne asomdwoeɛ mu; wɔnya ahomegyeɛ ɛberɛ a wɔadeda sɛ awufoɔ.
He enters into peace. They rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.
3 “Nanso, mo, mommra ha, mo ɔbayifoɔ mmammarima, mo awaresɛefoɔ ne mmaa adwamanfoɔ mma!
“But draw near here, you sons of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes.
4 Hwan na moresere no? Hwan na moredi ne ho fɛ na morebɔ no adapaa yi? Monnyɛ atuatefoɔ fekuo ne atorofoɔ asefoɔ anaa?
Whom do you mock? Against whom do you make a wide mouth and stick out your tongue? Aren’t you children of disobedience and offspring of falsehood,
5 Mode ɔpɛ mmorosoɔ bɔ afɔdeɛ wɔ adum mu ne dua biara ase; mode mo mma bɔ afɔdeɛ wɔ mmɔnhwa a emu dɔ mu ne abotan mpaapaeɛ ase.
you who inflame yourselves amongst the oaks, under every green tree; who kill the children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?
6 Anyame a wɔyɛ aboɔ tromtrom, a ɛwɔ mmɔnhwa a emu dɔ mu no, wɔyɛ mo kyɛfa. Wɔn na mopɛ. Aane, moahwie nsã afɔrebɔdeɛ agu wɔn so na mode aduane afɔrebɔdeɛ ama wɔn. Yeinom nyinaa akyi, mengo me nsam anaa?
Amongst the smooth stones of the valley is your portion. They, they are your lot. You have even poured a drink offering to them. You have offered an offering. Shall I be appeased for these things?
7 Moasiesie mo daberɛ wɔ kokoɔ a ɛkorɔn so; ɛhɔ na mokɔ kɔbɔ afɔdeɛ.
On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed. You also went up there to offer sacrifice.
8 Mo apono ne aponnwa akyi na mo de mo abosonsom nsɛsodeɛ asisi. Mofirii mʼakyi kɔyii mo mpa so ntoma, mokɔdaa so na motrɛɛ mu; mo ne wɔn a modɔ wɔn mpa yɛɛ apam, na mohwɛɛ wɔn adagya mu.
You have set up your memorial behind the doors and the posts, for you have exposed yourself to someone besides me, and have gone up. You have enlarged your bed and made you a covenant with them. You loved what you saw on their bed.
9 Mode ngo kɔɔ Molek nkyɛn na momaa mo nnuhwam dɔɔso. Mosomaa mo ananmusifoɔ kɔɔ akyirikyiri; mo siane kɔɔ ɛda mu ankasa! (Sheol h7585)
You went to the king with oil, increased your perfumes, sent your ambassadors far off, and degraded yourself even to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
10 Mo nneyɛɛ maa mo brɛeɛ, nanso moanka da sɛ, ‘Ɛho nni mfasoɔ.’ Monyaa akɔnnɔ ahoɔden foforɔ, enti mokɔɔ so ara yɛɛ deɛ mopɛ.
You were wearied with the length of your ways; yet you didn’t say, ‘It is in vain.’ You found a reviving of your strength; therefore you weren’t faint.
11 “Hwan na wama mo akoma atu na wabɔ mo hu sei a enti moanni me nokorɛ, na moankae me anaa moannwene yei ho wɔ mo akoma mu? Mayɛ dinn akyɛre no enti na monnsuro me anaa?
“Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace for a long time, and you don’t fear me?
12 Mɛda mo tenenee ne mo nnwuma adi, na ɛho remma mo mfasoɔ.
I will declare your righteousness; and as for your works, they will not benefit you.
13 Sɛ moteam pɛ mmoa a, momma mo ahoni a moaboa ano no nnye mo! Mframa bɛbɔ wɔn nyinaa akɔ, ahome kɛkɛ bɛhwete wɔn. Nanso onipa a ɔde me yɛ ne dwanekɔbea no bɛdi asase no so na wafa me bepɔ kronkron no.”
When you cry, let those whom you have gathered deliver you, but the wind will take them. A breath will carry them all away, but he who takes refuge in me will possess the land, and will inherit my holy mountain.”
14 Na wɔbɛka sɛ: “Monyɛ, monyɛ. Monsiesie ɛkwan no! Monyiyi akwansideɛ mfiri me nkurɔfoɔ akwan mu.”
He will say, “Build up, build up, prepare the way! Remove the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.”
15 Na yei ne deɛ ɔkorɔn no, deɛ ɔte ase daa a ne din yɛ kronkron no seɛ: “Mete beaeɛ a ɛkorɔn na ɛyɛ kronkron, me ne deɛ ɔwɔ ahonu na ɔyɛ honhom mu hiani nso te, sɛ mɛkanyane honhom mu hiani no honhom, na makanyane nʼakoma a abubu no.
For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
16 Meremmɔ soboɔ afebɔɔ, na mebo remfu daa, sɛ anyɛ saa a, onipa honhom bɛtɔ piti wɔ mʼanim, onipa ahome a me na mabɔ.
For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be angry; for the spirit would faint before me, and the souls whom I have made.
17 Wɔn nnebɔne adufudepɛ maa me bo fuiɛ; metwee wɔn aso, na mede abufuo yii mʼani, nso wɔkɔɔ so yɛɛ deɛ wɔn akoma pɛ.
I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness and struck him. I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.
18 Mahunu wɔn nneyɛɛ, nanso mɛsa wɔn yadeɛ. Mɛkyerɛ wɔn kwan na makyekye wɔn werɛ,
I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
19 na mama ayɛyie aba wɔn a wɔredi awerɛhoɔ wɔ Israel ano. Asomdwoeɛ, asomdwoeɛ, mmra wɔn a wɔwɔ akyirikyiri ne wɔn a wɔbɛn so,” sei na Awurade seɛ. “Na mɛsa wɔn yadeɛ.”
I create the fruit of the lips: Peace, peace, to him who is far off and to him who is near,” says the LORD; “and I will heal them.”
20 Na amumuyɛfoɔ te sɛ ɛpo a ɛrehuru, ɛntumi nyɛ komm, nʼasorɔkye yiyi atɛkyɛ ne efi.
But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest and its waters cast up mire and mud.
21 “Amumuyɛfoɔ nni asomdwoeɛ.” Sei na me Onyankopɔn seɛ.
“There is no peace”, says my God, “for the wicked.”
