< Yesaia 52 >
1 Nyane, nyane, Ao Sion, hyɛ ahoɔden aduradeɛ no. Hyɛ wo ntadeɛ fɛfɛ no Ao, Yerusalem kuropɔn kronkron no. Momonotofoɔ ne wɔn a wɔn ho agu fi renwura wʼapono mu bio.
Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.
2 Poroporo wo ho mfuturo. Sɔre, tena ahennwa so, Ao, Yerusalem. Yiyi nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn no firi wo kɔn mu, Ao, Ɔbabaa Sion a wɔafa wo nnomum.
Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!
3 Na yei ne deɛ Awurade seɛ: “Wɔantɔn wo annye hwee, na ɛnyɛ sika na wɔde bɛgye wo.”
For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,
4 Na yei ne deɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ: “Ɛberɛ bi me nkurɔfoɔ kɔɔ Misraim kɔtenaa hɔ; akyire no Asiria bɛhyɛɛ wɔn so.
For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.
5 “Na seesei, ɛdeɛn na mehunu yi?” Sei na Awurade seɛ. “Wɔafa me nkurɔfoɔ kɔ kwa, na wɔn sodifoɔ di fɛw,” Awurade na ɔseɛ. “Ɛda mu no nyinaa wɔkɔ so gu me din ho fi.
Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.
6 Enti me nkurɔfoɔ bɛhunu me din; enti ɛda no wɔbɛhunu sɛ ɛyɛ me na mehyɛɛ ho nkɔm. Aane, ɛyɛ me.”
Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,
7 Hwɛ sɛdeɛ wɔn a wɔde asɛmpa no reba no anammɔn yɛ fɛ wɔ mmepɔ no so, wɔn a wɔpae mu ka asomdwoesɛm, wɔn a wɔde nsɛmmɔdɛ ba, wɔn a wɔpae mu ka nkwagyeɛ ho asɛm na wɔka kyerɛ Sion sɛ, “Mo Onyankopɔn di ɔhene.”
How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.
8 Montie! Mo awɛmfoɔ ma wɔn nne so; wɔbɔ mu de anigye team. Sɛ Awurade sane ba Sion a, wɔde wɔn ani bɛhunu.
The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.
9 Mommɔ mu nto anigye nnwom, mo Yerusalem mmubuiɛ, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade akyekye ne nkurɔfoɔ werɛ; wagye Yerusalem.
Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:
10 Awurade bɛyi ne basa kronkron no ho wɔ amanaman nyinaa anim na asase ano nyinaa bɛhunu yɛn Onyankopɔn nkwagyeɛ.
Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.
11 Monkɔ. Momfiri hɔ nkɔ! Mommfa mo ho nka biribiara a ɛho nteɛ. Mommfiri ho na mo ho nte, mo a mokurakura Awurade nkuruwa.
Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;
12 Monntutu mmirika mfiri ha anaa monnwane; ɛfiri sɛ Awurade bɛdi mo anim, Israel Onyankopɔn bɛbɔ mo kyidɔm.
For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.
13 Hwɛ, me ɔsomfoɔ bɛdi yie wɔbɛpagya no ayɛ no kɛseɛ.
Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:
14 Dodoɔ a wɔhunuu no ho dwirii wɔn. Ɛfiri sɛ wɔsɛee nʼanim a ansɛ onipa biara deɛ na ne bɔberɛ sɛeɛ a ɛnsɛ ɔdasani deɛ.
The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,
15 Saa ara na ɔbɛma aman bebree ho adwiri wɔn na ahemfo bɛmuamua wɔn ano, ne enti. Wɔn a wɔnkaa ne ho asɛm nkyerɛɛ wɔn no bɛhunu, na wɔn a wɔnteeɛ no nso bɛte aseɛ.
The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
