< Hebrifoɔ 13 >
1 Monnodɔ mo ho mo ho sɛ anuanom wɔ Kristo mu.
May love for each other as brothers and sisters always continue!
2 Monkae na monnye ahɔhoɔ wɔ mo afie mu. Ebinom yɛɛ saa nam so gyee abɔfoɔ a na wɔnnim.
Don't forget to show love for strangers too, because by doing so some have welcomed angels without knowing it.
3 Monkae wɔn a wɔda afiase na momfa no sɛ mo ne wɔn na ɛda hɔ. Monkae wɔn a wɔrehunu amane na momfa no sɛ mo ne wɔn na ɛrehunu saa amane no.
Remember those who are locked up in prison as if you were imprisoned with them. Remember those who are mistreated as if you were physically suffering with them.
4 Mo nyinaa nni awadeɛ ni, na okununom ne ɔyerenom nni wɔn ho nokorɛ, ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn bɛbu adwamanfoɔ ne awaresɛefoɔ atɛn.
Everyone should honor marriage. Husbands and wives should be faithful to each other. God will judge adulterers.
5 Monyi sikanibereɛ mfiri mo abrabɔ mu, na momma mo ani nsɔ deɛ mo nsa ka. Ɛfiri sɛ Onyankopɔn aka sɛ, “Merennya wo, na merennya wo da.”
Don't love money; be content with what you have. God himself has said, “I'll never let you down; I'll never give up on you.”
6 Momma yɛnsi yɛn bo nka sɛ, “Awurade ne me ɔboafoɔ, enti merensuro. Ɛdeɛn na onipa bɛtumi ayɛ me?”
That's why we can confidently say, “The Lord is the one who helps me, so I won't be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
7 Monkae mo mpanimfoɔ a wɔdii mo anim a wɔkaa Onyankopɔn asɛm kyerɛɛ mo no. Monkae ɛkwan a wɔfaa so tenaa ase na monsua wɔn gyidie no.
Remember your leaders who explained God's word to you. Look again at the results of their lives, and imitate their trust in God.
8 Yesu Kristo te saa ara nnora, ɛnnɛ ne daa nyinaa. (aiōn )
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (aiōn )
9 Mommma nkyerɛkyerɛ foforɔ biara nntwe mo mmfiri ɛkwan pa so. Ɛyɛ sɛ Onyankopɔn adom enti, yɛn kra bɛnyini ahoɔden so a ɛmfiri aduane ho mmara a yɛdi so no. Wɔn a wɔdi mmara a ɛte saa so no nnya mmoa biara.
Don't get distracted by different kinds of strange teachings. It's good for the mind to be convinced by grace, not by laws concerning what we eat. Those who followed such laws didn't gain anything.
10 Nanso yɛwɔ afɔrebukyia bi a Asɔfoɔ a wɔsom wɔ Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan mu no mpo nni ho ɛkwan sɛ wɔdidi so.
We have an altar that those priests of the Tabernacle have no right to eat from.
11 Yudafoɔ Sɔfopanin de mmoa mogya ba Kronkron mu Kronkron hɔ de bɛbɔ bɔne afɔdeɛ nanso wɔhye mmoa no funu wɔ beaeɛ no akyi baabi.
The carcasses of the animals, whose blood is carried by the high priest into the most holy place as an offering for sin, are burned outside the camp.
12 Yei enti, Yesu nso wuu wɔ kuro no ɛpono akyi sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a ne mogya bɛma nnipa ayɛ kronkron.
In the same way Jesus also died outside the city gate so that he could make God's people holy through his own blood.
13 Enti momma yɛnkɔ ne nkyɛn wɔ beaeɛ no akyi nkɔgye animguaseɛ no bi.
So let us go out to him, outside the camp, experiencing and sharing in his shame.
14 Ɛfiri sɛ, yɛnni atenaeɛ a ɛwɔ hɔ daa wɔ asase yi so. Yɛrehwehwɛ kuro a ɛrebɛba no akyiri ɛkwan.
For we don't have a permanent city to live in here, we're looking for the home that is still to come.
15 Momma yɛmfa Yesu so mfa yɛn anofafa nkamfo Onyankopɔn din daa sɛ yɛn afɔrebɔdeɛ.
So let us through Jesus always offer a sacrifice of praise to God—this means speaking well of God, declaring his character.
16 Mommma mo werɛ mfiri sɛ mobɛyɛ mo ho mo ho papa aboaboa mo ho mo ho, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛno ne afɔrebɔ a ɛsɔ Onyankopɔn ani.
And don't forget to do what is good, and to share with others what you have, for God is pleased when you make such sacrifices.
17 Montie mo mpanimfoɔ na monni wɔn asɛm so. Esiane sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ wɔbu wɔn adwuma ho akonta enti, wɔhwɛ mo kra so a wɔnhome koraa. Sɛ motie wɔn a, wɔde anigyeɛ bɛyɛ wɔn adwuma. Sɛ anyɛ saa a wɔde awerɛhoɔ bɛyɛ adwuma no na ɛremmoa mo.
Follow your leaders, and do what they tell you, for they are watching out for you and are accountable. Act in such a way that they can do this happily—and not with sadness, for that wouldn't help you!
18 Monkɔ so mmɔ mpaeɛ mma yɛn. Yɛnim pefee sɛ yɛwɔ adwene a emu da hɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛpɛ sɛ ɛberɛ biara yɛyɛ adeɛ a ɛyɛ.
Please pray for us. We're convinced we have acted in good conscience, always wanting to do what's good and right in every situation.
19 Na mebɔ mpaeɛ kɔ so srɛ mo sɛ, mommɔ mpaeɛ na Onyankopɔn mfa me mmrɛ mo nnansa yi ara.
I really want you to pray hard so that I can come back to see you soon.
20 Onyankopɔn anyane yɛn Awurade Yesu a ɔyɛ odwanhwɛfoɔ panin no afiri awufoɔ mu ama yɛn na ɛnam ne owuo no so enti, wɔasɔ daa apam no ano ama yɛn. (aiōnios )
Now may the God of peace who raised our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, from the dead, with the blood of an eternal agreement— (aiōnios )
21 Asomdwoeɛ Onyankopɔn mma mo deɛ ɛhia mo nyinaa na monam so ayɛ nʼapɛdeɛ, na ɔnam Yesu Kristo so ayɛ yɛn mu adwuma sɛdeɛ ɛsɔ ani. Animuonyam nka Kristo daa nyinaa. Amen. (aiōn )
may he provide you with all that is good so you can do his will. May he work in us, doing everything that pleases him, through Jesus Christ—glory to him forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
22 Anuanom, mesrɛ mo sɛ, monyɛ aso ntie nkuranhyɛ nsɛm yi, ɛfiri sɛ, saa krataa a matwerɛ mo yi nnyɛ tenten biara.
I want to encourage you, brothers and sisters, to pay attention to what I've written to you in this short letter.
23 Mepɛ sɛ mebɔ mo amaneɛ sɛ wɔayi yɛn nua Timoteo afiri afiase. Sɛ ɔba ntɛm a, me ne no bɛba mo nkyɛn.
You should know that Timothy has been set free. If he gets here soon, I will come with him to see you.
24 Yɛkyea mpanimfoɔ no ne Onyankopɔn nkurɔfoɔ no nyinaa. Anuanom a wɔwɔ Italia no kyea mo.
Give my greetings to all your leaders, and to all the believers there. The believers here in Italy send their greetings.
May God's grace be with all of you. Amen.
