< 1 Mose 6 >

1 Ɛberɛ a nnipa dɔɔso wɔ asase so no, wɔwoo mmammaa.
And it came to pass when men had begun to multiply on the face of the ground and daughters had been born to them,
2 Onyankopɔn mmammarima no hunuu sɛ nnipa mmammaa no ho yɛ fɛ enti, deɛ obiara pɛ no no, ɔfaa no wareeɛ.
that the sons of God saw the daughters of men! that they were, fair, —so they took to themselves wives of whomsoever they chose,
3 Afei, Awurade kaa sɛ, “Me honhom rentena nnipa mu nkɔsi daa, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔyɛ ɔhonam; na wɔn nkwa nna bɛyɛ mfeɛ ɔha aduonu.”
And Yahweh said—My spirit shall not rule in man to times age—abiding, for that, he also, is flesh, —Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.
4 Saa ɛberɛ no, na nnipa akwabrane wɔ asase no so. Ɛberɛ a Onyankopɔn mmammarima yi kɔɔ nnipa mmammaa yi ho no, wɔne wɔn wowoeɛ. Saa nnipa yi ne kane tete nnipa atitire a na wɔyɛ akofoɔ a wɔgyee edin no.
The giants, were in the earth in those days, and also, after that, when the sons of God began to go in unto the daughters of men, and sons were born to them, the same, were the heroes that were from age-past times the men of renown.
5 Awurade Onyankopɔn hunuu sɛ adasamma amumuyɛ adɔɔso wɔ asase so, na nnipa nsusuiɛ nyinaa yɛ bɔne nko ara.
Then Yahweh saw that great, was the wickedness of man in the earth, and that, every purpose of the devices of his heart, was only wicked all the day;
6 Ɛyɛɛ Awurade Onyankopɔn awerɛhoɔ sɛ ɔbɔɔ wɔn bɛtenaa asase so. Saa bɔne no yɛɛ Awurade Onyankopɔn awerɛhoɔ.
and it grieved Yahweh, that he had made man in the earth, —and he took sorrow unto his heart.
7 Awurade kaa sɛ, “Mɛpepa nnipa a mabɔ wɔn no afiri asase so; mmoa ne mmoa a wɔwea asase so ne ewiem nnomaa, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛyɛ me ya sɛ mebɔɔ wɔn.”
And Yahweh said—I must wipe off man whom I created from off the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, —for I am grieved that I made them.
8 Nanso, Noa deɛ, ɔnyaa adom Awurade anim.
But, Noah, had found favour in the eyes, of Yahweh.
9 Noa awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ nie. Na Noa yɛ onipa teneneeni a ne ho nni asɛm wɔ ne berɛsofoɔ mu. Ɔyɛɛ Onyankopɔn apɛdeɛ.
These, are the generations of Noah, Noah, was, a righteous man blameless, in his generations, —with God, did Noah walk.
10 Noa woo mmammarima baasa na wɔn din de Sem, Ham ne Yafet.
And Noah begat three sons, —Shem, Ham and Japheth.
11 Na bɔne ahyɛ asase so ma a amumuyɛsɛm adɔɔso.
And the earth corrupted itself before God, —and the earth was filled with violence,
12 Onyankopɔn hunuu saa bɔne yi nyinaa wɔ asase so, hunuu awurukasɛm ne amumuyɛsɛm, afanan nyinaa nso.
And God beheld the earth, and lo! it had corrupted itself, —surely all flesh had corrupted its way, on the earth.
13 Enti, Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ Noa sɛ, “Esiane sɛ nnipa ama basabasa aba asase so enti, mɛsɛe nnipa ne asase a wɔte so no nyinaa.
So God said unto Noah: the end of all flesh, hath come in before me, for, filled, is the earth with violence, because of them, —behold me, then, destroying them with the earth.
14 Fa ɔwawa dua yɛ adaka. Yɛ adan wɔ Adaka no mu, na fa ama ka emu ne akyire nyinaa.
Make for thee an ark of timbers of gopher, rooms, shalt thou make with the ark, —and thou shalt cover it within and without with pitch.
And, this, is how thou shalt make it, —three hundred cubits, the length of the ark, fifty cubits, the breadth thereof, and thirty cubits the height thereof.
16 Bɔ adaka no so. Ma ne ɔsorokɔ nyɛ bɛyɛ sɛ nsateakwaa dunwɔtwe. Fa ɛpono to adaka no nkyɛn, na yɛ nsamsoɔ mmiɛnsa; deɛ ɛdi ɛkan, deɛ ɛda ntam ne deɛ ɛwɔ soro.
A place for light, shalt thou make to the ark and to a cubit, shalt thou finish it upwards, and the opening of the ark—in the side thereof, shalt thou put, —with lower, second and third stories, shalt thou make it.
17 Tie! Mede nsuyire bɛkata asase so nyinaa, na mede asɛe abɔdeɛ a nkwa wɔ mu; biribiara a nkwa wɔ mu no, ne nyinaa bɛwuwu.
And, I, behold me! bringing in the flood—even waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh wherein is the spirit of life, from under the heavens, —everything that is in the earth, shall cease to breathe:
18 Na wo deɛ, me ne wo bɛyɛ apam; na wo, wo mmammarima, wo yere ne wo mmammarima yerenom nyinaa ne wo bɛba Adaka no mu.
therefore will I establish my covenant with thee, —and thou shalt enter into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives, with thee.
19 Ɛsɛ sɛ wode abɔdeɛ a nkwa wɔ mu nyinaa, mmienu mmienu a, ɛyɛ onini ne ɔbereɛ a, wo ne wɔn bɛtena adaka no mu nsuyire berɛ no a, wɔnwuwuo.
Moreover of all the living creatures of all flesh—two of each, shalt thou bring into the ark to keep alive with thee, —male and female, shall they be.
20 Nnomaa ahodoɔ biara mmienu, mmoa biara mmienu, ne abɔdeɛ biara a ɛwea asase so mmienu bɛba wo nkyɛn, na woahwɛ wɔn, na wɔanwuwu.
Of the bird after its kind and of the beast after its kind, [and] of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of each, shall come in unto thee. for keeping alive.
21 Afei, fa nnuane ahodoɔ a, wɔdie na kora. Ɛno na ɛbɛyɛ wo ne wɔn nnuane a mobɛdi.”
But thou, take to thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it unto thee, —and it shall be for thee and for them for food.
22 Noa yɛɛ biribiara pɛpɛɛpɛ, sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn ka kyerɛɛ no sɛ ɔnyɛ no.
And Noah did [so], —according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
