< Galatifoɔ 5 >
1 Ahofadie enti na Kristo ama yɛade yɛn ho no. Monnyina pintinn. Mommma ho ɛkwan mma wɔmmfa mo nnyɛ nkoa bio.
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Montie! Me Paulo, meka mekyerɛ mo sɛ, sɛ moma ho ɛkwan ma wɔtwa mo twetia a, na ɛkyerɛ sɛ Kristo ho amma mfasoɔ biara amma mo koraa.
Listen, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will profit you nothing.
3 Mebɔ mo kɔkɔ bio sɛ obiara a ɔbɛma ho ɛkwan ama wɔatwa no twetia no, na ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdi Mmara no nyinaa so.
Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Mo a mopɛ sɛ wɔde Mmara no bu mo bem no ate mo ho afiri Kristo ho. Adom no nni mo so bio.
You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
5 Nanso yɛfiri gyidie mu nam Honhom no so twɛne tenenee a yɛn ani da soɔ no.
For we, through the Spirit, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
6 Kristo Yesu mu no, twetiatwa ne momonotoyɛ ho nni mfasoɔ. Deɛ ɛho hia ne gyidie a ɛnam ɔdɔ so da ne ho adi.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
7 Na anka moresi mmirikakan no yie! Na hwan na ɔtwintwanee mo anan mu ma mogyaee nokorɛ no tie?
You were running well. Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
8 Saa nnaadaa no mfiri deɛ ɔfrɛ mo no.
This persuasion is not from him who calls you.
9 “Mmɔka kakra bi na ɛma mmɔre no nyinaa tu.”
A little yeast grows through the whole lump.
10 Mewɔ anidasoɔ wɔ Awurade mu sɛ morennwene adwene foforɔ bi. Onipa ko a ɔde sakasakayɛ reba mo mu no, wɔbɛtua ne so ka.
I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 Anuanom, sɛ megu so ka twetiatwa ho asɛm a, adɛn enti na wɔda so taa me? Na sɛ ɛno na ɛyɛ nokorɛ a, anka mʼasɛm a meka fa Kristo asɛnnua ho no renkɔfa ɔhaw mma. Ɛnneɛ na anka asɛnnua no ho suntidua biara nni hɔ bio.
But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.
12 Sɛ ɛkaa me nko a, anka wɔn a wɔha mo no atwa wɔn ho atwitwa wɔn ho wɔn ho.
I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.
13 Me nuanom, mo deɛ, wɔfrɛɛ mo sɛ mommɛde mo ho. Nanso, mommma saa ahofadie yi mmɔ ɛkwan mma bɔne; mmom, momfa ɔdɔ nsom mo ho mo ho.
For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only do not use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
14 Ɛfiri sɛ, Mmara no nyinaa tiawatwa ne sɛ, “Dɔ wo yɔnko sɛ wo ho.”
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You are to love your neighbor as yourself."
15 Na sɛ mokeka na momemene mo ho mo ho a, ɛnneɛ monhwɛ yie na moansɛe mo ho mo ho.
But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you do not consume one another.
16 Na mese, montena ase wɔ Honhom mu, na moremma honam akɔnnɔ ho kwan.
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.
17 Ɛfiri sɛ, deɛ honam pɛ no tia deɛ Honhom no pɛ; saa ara nso na deɛ Honhom no pɛ no, honam no tia. Ne mmienu no bɔ abira, enti ɛnsɛ sɛ moyɛ deɛ mopɛ.
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
18 Sɛ mo nante Honhom mu a, na monnhyɛ Mmara ase.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Dwuma a bɔnesu di no da adi pefee. Yeinom ne adwamammɔ, efi, ahohwie,
Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
20 abosonsom, adutoɔ, ɔtan, akayɛ, ahoɔyea, abufuo, apereapereɛ, kunsunkunsun, mpaapaemu,
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
21 nitan, nsãborɔ, agobɔne, ne nneɛma a ɛtete saa. Mebɔ mo kɔkɔ sɛdeɛ mabɔ mo bi dada no sɛ, wɔn a wɔtena ase saa no renkɔ Onyankopɔn Ahennie no mu.
envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 Na Honhom no aba ne ɔdɔ, anigyeɛ, asomdwoeɛ, abodwokyɛreɛ, ayamyɛ, papayɛ, gyidie,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 ɔdwoɔ ne ahohyɛsoɔ. Mmara biara nni hɔ a ɛtia yeinom.
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Na wɔn a wɔyɛ Kristo dea no abɔ wɔn nipasu no ne honam akɔnnɔ asɛnnua mu.
Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
25 Sɛ yɛte Honhom mu yi, momma yɛnnante Honhom mu.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
26 Ɛnsɛ sɛ yɛhoahoa yɛn ho, yiyi yɛn ho yɛn ho abufuo, anaa yɛma yɛn ani bere yɛn ho yɛn ho.
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
