< Hesekiel 7 >

1 Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn sɛ,
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 “Onipa ba, yei ne asɛm a Otumfoɔ Awurade ka kyerɛ Israel asase no: “‘Awieeɛ no, awieeɛ no aduru asase no ntweaso ɛnan no so!
Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
3 Awieeɛ no aduru wɔ wo so, na mɛhwie mʼabufuhyeɛ agu wo so. Mɛgyina wʼabrabɔ so abu wo atɛn, na matua wo ka wɔ wʼakyiwadeɛ nyinaa so.
Now [is] the end [come] upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
4 Merenhunu wo mmɔbɔ na meremfa wo ho nkyɛ wo. Ampa ara mɛtua wo ka wɔ wo nneyɛɛ ne wʼakyiwadeɛ a ɛwɔ wo mu no, na moahunu sɛ me ne Awurade.’
And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
5 “Yei ne deɛ Otumfoɔ Awurade seɛ: “‘Atoyerɛnkyɛm! Atoyerɛnkyɛm a wontee da nam ɛkwan so reba!
Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
6 Awieeɛ no aba! Awieeɛ no aba! Apagya ne ho atia wo. Aba!
An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
7 Ɔsɛeɛ aduru mo, mo a mote asase no so. Ɛberɛ no aduru, ɛda no abɛn; huboabɔ ɛberɛ a ɛnyɛ mmepɔ no so ahosɛpɛ.
The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble [is] near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
8 Merebɛhwie mʼabufuhyeɛ agu wo so de awie mʼabufuo a ɛtia wo no. Mɛgyina wo nneyɛɛ so abu wo atɛn, na matua wo ka wɔ wʼakyiwadeɛ nyinaa so.
Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
9 Merenhunu wo mmɔbɔ, na meremfa wo ho nkyɛ wo. Mɛtua wo ka wɔ wo nneyɛɛ ne wʼakyiwadeɛ a ɛwɔ wo mu no. Afei mobɛhunu sɛ me, Awurade, na mebobɔ.
And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations [that] are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD that smiteth.
10 “‘Ɛda no nie! Hwɛ aba! Atemmuo da no apue, abaa no afefɛ, ahantan ahanehane!
Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
11 Akakabensɛm ayɛ abaa a wɔde twe amumuyɛ aso. Nnipa no mu biara renka, nnipakuo no mu biara, ahonyadeɛ ne deɛ ɛsom bo biara renka.
Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them [shall remain], nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither [shall there be] wailing for them.
12 Ɛberɛ no aso! Ɛda no aduru. Mma ɔdetɔfoɔ ani nnnye anaa ɔdetɔnfoɔ werɛ nho, ɛfiri sɛ abufuhyeɛ wɔ nnipakuo no nyinaa so.
The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath [is] upon all the multitude thereof.
13 Deɛ ɔtɔn no nsa renka asase a watɔn no bio wɔ ɛberɛ a wɔn mmienu te ase, Ɛfiri sɛ anisoadehunu a ɛfa nnipakuo no nyinaa no rensesa. Wɔn bɔne enti, wɔn mu baako koraa remfa ne ho nni.
For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision [is] touching the whole multitude thereof, [which] shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath [is] upon all the multitude thereof.
15 Akofena wɔ mfikyire; na ɔyaredɔm ne ɛkɔm wɔ efie. Wɔn a wɔwɔ ɔman no mu bɛtotɔ wɔ akofena ano. Wɔn a wɔwɔ kuropɔn no mu no, ɔyaredɔm ne ɛkɔm bɛkum wɔn.
The sword [is] without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that [is] in the field shall die with the sword; and he that [is] in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16 Wɔn a wɔanya wɔn tiri adidi mu na wɔadwane no bɛtena mmepɔ no so. Na wɔakurum te sɛ mmɔnhwa mu mmorɔnoma wɔ wɔn mu biara bɔne enti.
But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 Nsa nyinaa bɛdwodwo na nkotodwe nyinaa ayɛ mmrɛ sɛ nsuo.
All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak [as] water.
18 Wɔbɛfirafira ayitoma na wɔabɔ huboa. Aniwuo bɛkata wɔn anim na wɔayi wɔn tirinwi.
They shall also gird [themselves] with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame [shall be] upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19 “‘Wɔbɛto wɔn dwetɛ agu mmɔntene so, na wɔn sikakɔkɔɔ bɛyɛ adeɛ a ɛho nteɛ. Wɔn dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ rentumi nnye wɔn Awurade abufuhyeɛ ɛda no. Ɛrenkum wɔn kɔm na ɛrenhyɛ wɔn yafunu ma, ɛfiri sɛ ayɛ wɔn suntidua de wɔn akɔ bɔne mu.
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
20 Na wɔde wɔn mpompranneɛ fɛfɛ no hoahoa wɔn ho, na wɔde yeyɛɛ wɔn ahoni a ɛyɛ akyiwadeɛ ne nsɛsodeɛ tantane; enti mɛdane yeinom a ɛho nteɛ ama wɔn.
As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations [and] of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
21 Mede ne nyinaa bɛma ananafoɔ sɛ afodeɛ na mede ama asase so atirimuɔdenfoɔ sɛ korɔnodeɛ, na wɔbɛgu ho fi.
And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
22 Mɛyi mʼani afiri wɔn so na akorɔmfoɔ bɛgu beaeɛ a ɛsom me bo ho fi. Wɔbɛwura hɔ na wɔagu ho fi.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret [place: ] for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
23 “‘Monyɛ nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn! Ɛfiri sɛ mogyahwiegu ayɛ asase no so ma, na akakabensɛm ahyɛ kuropɔn no ma.
Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24 Mɛma aman no mu otirimuɔdenfoɔ pa ara abɛfa wɔn afie; mɛma ɔhoɔdenfoɔ ahomasoɔ aba awieeɛ, na wɔn kronkrommea ho bɛgu fi.
Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
25 Sɛ ehu ba a, wɔbɛhwehwɛ asomdwoeɛ akyiri ɛkwan, nanso ɛbɛbɔ wɔn.
Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and [there shall be] none.
26 Atoyerɛnkyɛm bɛdi atoyerɛnkyɛm akyi aba; atesɛm bɛdi atesɛm akyi. Wɔbɛpɛ sɛ wɔbɛnya anisoadehunu afiri odiyifoɔ no hɔ, Ɔsɔfoɔ nkyerɛkyerɛ a ɛfa mmara no ho no bɛbɔ wɔn. Saa ara na wɔrennya afotuo mfiri mpanimfoɔ hɔ.
Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
27 Ɔhene no bɛtwa adwo, ɔheneba no bɛfira abasamutuo, na asase no so nnipa nsa bɛpopo. Me ne wɔn bɛdi no sɛdeɛ wɔn nneyɛɛ teɛ, na mɛgyina wɔn pɛpɛyɛ so abu wɔn atɛn. Afei wɔbɛhunu sɛ me ne Awurade no.’”
The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
