< 2 Mose 23 >

1 “Nkeka nkontomposɛm. Wo ne ɔbɔnefoɔ nni nsawɔsoɔ, na woanni adansekurumu.
You must not give a false report about anyone. Do not join with a wicked man to be a dishonest witness.
2 “Mfa wo ho nhyehyɛ nnipadɔm bi a wɔpɛ sɛ wɔyɛ bɔne mu. Sɛ woredi adanseɛ a, nhwɛ nnipa dodoɔ bi so nni mma wɔn.
You must not follow a crowd to do evil, nor may you bear witness while siding with the crowd in order to pervert justice.
3 Nka sɛ obi yɛ ohiani enti wobɛdi adanseɛ ama no.
You must not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.
4 “Sɛ wohunu wo ɔtamfoɔ nantwie anaa nʼafunumu a wayera a, kyere no kɔma ne wura no.
If you meet your enemy's ox or his donkey going astray, you must bring it back to him.
5 Sɛ wokɔto sɛ wo ɔtamfoɔ repagya nʼafunumu agyina ne nan so wɔ adesoa duruduru ase a, ntwa ne ho nkɔ. Boa no.
If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen to the ground under its load, you must not leave that person. You must surely help him with his donkey.
6 “Sɛ obi yɛ ohiani a, ɛnkyerɛ sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ wɔbu tia no.
Do not thrust aside justice for your poor in his lawsuit.
7 Mfa asɛm a wonhunuiɛ nto obi so; mma wɔnkum obi a ɔnyɛɛ bɔne biara. Merempene so saa.
Do not join others in making false accusations, and do not kill the innocent or righteous, for I will not acquit the wicked.
8 “Nnye adanmudeɛ na adanmudegyeɛ fira onipa ani. Adanmudegyeɛ fira anyansafoɔ ani ma wɔsi gyinaeɛ de tia onyamesuroni asɛm.
Never take a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see, and perverts honest people's words.
9 “Nhyɛ ahɔhoɔ so; wonim sɛdeɛ woyɛ ɔmamfrani a ɛteɛ. Kae deɛ wohunuu wɔ Misraim asase so hɔ no.
You must not oppress a foreigner, since you know the life of a foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
10 “Dua na twa na ɛntoatoa so saa ara nkɔsi mfeɛ nsia.
For six years you will sow seed on your land and gather in its produce.
11 Na mfeɛ nson so deɛ, ma asase no nna hɔ kwa na ma ahiafoɔ ntwa nnɔbaeɛ biara a ɛbɛnyini wɔ so no; nkaeɛ no, gya ma mmoa nwe. Wo bobe turo ne wo ngo dua turo hyɛ saa mmara yi ase.
But in the seventh year you will leave it unplowed and fallow, so that the poor among your people may eat. What they leave, the wild animals will eat. You will do the same with your vineyards and olive orchards.
12 “Nnansia na fa yɛ adwuma na home ne nnanson so. Yei bɛma wʼanantwie, wo mfunumu, wo fiefoɔ, wʼasomfoɔ ne wʼahɔhoɔ nso ahome.
During six days you will do your work, but on the seventh day you must rest. Do this so that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and so that your female slave's son and any foreigner may rest and be refreshed.
13 “Monni nsɛm a maka yi nyinaa so na monkae nso sɛ, ɛnsɛ sɛ mobɔ onyame foforɔ biara din.
Pay attention to everything that I have said to you. Do not mention the names of other gods, nor let their names be heard from your mouth.
14 “Afe biara mu, monhyɛ fa mprɛnsa mfa nhyɛ me animuonyam.
You must travel to hold a festival for me three times every year.
15 “Deɛ ɛdi ɛkan no, monni Apiti Afahyɛ. Sɛ ɛduru so a, nnanson mu, obiara nni burodo a mmɔreka nni mu sɛdeɛ mehyɛɛ mo no. Ɛsɛ sɛ afe biara mohyɛ saa fa yi wɔ ɔbosome Abib mu, bosome a mode tu firii Misraim no mu. “Ɛduru saa ɛberɛ no a, obiara mmrɛ me afɔrebɔdeɛ.
You are to observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you will eat unleavened bread for seven days. At that time, you will appear before me in the month of Aviv, which is fixed for this purpose. It was in this month that you came out from Egypt. But you must not appear before me empty-handed.
16 “Ɛno akyiri, Otwa Afahyɛ na ɛdi so. Saa afahyɛ yi duru so a, momfa mo aduanekan mmrɛ me. “Deɛ ɛtwa toɔ yɛ afudeɛ anoboa afahyɛ a ɛsɛ sɛ wɔdi no ɔtwa berɛ no akyiri.
You must observe the Festival of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors when you sowed seed in the fields. Also you must observe the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your produce from the fields.
17 “Afahyɛ ahodoɔ mmiɛnsa yi mu nyinaa, ɛsɛ sɛ Israel mmarima nyinaa ba Awurade Onyankopɔn anim.
All your males must appear before the Lord Yahweh three times every year.
18 “Mfa mmoa a wɔde wɔn bɔɔ afɔdeɛ no mogya nka burodo a mmɔreka wɔ mu ho mma me. “Saa ara nso na mmoa a wɔde wɔn bɔɔ afɔdeɛ no sradeɛ no, mommma adeɛ nnkye so.
You must not offer the blood from sacrifices made to me with bread containing yeast. The fat from the sacrifices at my festivals must not remain all night until the morning.
19 “Sɛ motwa mo mfudeɛ a, momfa otwakane mu nyiyimu a ɛsɔ ani mmrɛ me; wɔde bɛma Awurade mo Onyankopɔn. “Nnoa abirekyie ba wɔ ne maame nufosuo mu.
You must bring the choicest firstfruits from your land into my house, the house of Yahweh your God. You must not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.
20 “Meresoma ɔbɔfoɔ na wadi mo anim de mo akɔ asase a masiesie ama mo no so dwoodwoo.
I am going to send an angel before you to guard you on the way, and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.
21 Momfa anidie mma no na monni ne nsɛm so; monnsɔre ntia no, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔremfa mo amumuyɛ nkyɛ mo. Ɔyɛ mʼananmusini, na me din na ɛda ne so.
Be attentive to him and obey him. Do not provoke him, for he will not pardon your transgressions. My name is on him.
22 Na sɛ moto mo bo ase, na motie no, di me nsɛm nyinaa so a, mɛyɛ ɔtamfoɔ matia mo atamfoɔ.
If you indeed obey his voice and do everything that I tell you, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.
23 Me ɔbɔfoɔ bɛdi mo anim de mo aba Amorifoɔ, Hetifoɔ, Perisifoɔ, Kanaanfoɔ, Hewifoɔ ne Yebusifoɔ asase so na moatena hɔ. Na mɛsɛe saa nnipa no nyinaa wɔ mo anim.
My angel will go before you and bring you to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and the Jebusites. I will destroy them.
24 Monnsom anyame a saa aman yi som wɔn no bi, na mommmɔ afɔdeɛ mma wɔn ɛda biara da. Monnni saa abosonsomfoɔ yi akyi. Monni wɔn so na mommubu wɔn ahoni a ɛyɛ animguasedeɛ no ngu.
You must not bow down to their gods, worship them, or do as they do. Instead, you must completely overthrow them and smash their stone pillars in pieces.
25 Mo Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn nko ara na monsom no. Na mɛhyira mo ama mo anya aduane ne nsuo na mɛyi nyarewa nyinaa afiri mo so.
You must worship Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and water. I will remove sickness from among you.
26 Apɔn anaa abonini remma mo asase no so na mɛma mo nna amee mo.
No woman will be barren or will miscarry her young in your land. I will give you long lives.
27 “Awurade ho hu bɛka aman a mobɛdi wɔn so no so nnipa nyinaa na wɔadwane wɔ mo anim.
I will send fear of myself on those into whose land you advance. I will kill all the people whom you meet. I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you in fright.
28 Mɛma kotokurodu abɛpam Hewifoɔ, Kanaanfoɔ ne Hetifoɔ afiri mo anim.
I will send hornets before you that will drive out the Hivites, Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you.
29 Merenyɛ yeinom nyinaa afe baako pɛ mu na asase no annane ɛserɛ amma nkekaboa ammu amfa mo so.
I will not drive them out from before you in one year, or the land would become abandoned, and the wild animals would become too many for you.
30 Mɛpam wɔn nkakrankakra kɔsi sɛ mobɛdɔɔso, atumi ahyɛ asase no so ma.
Instead, I will drive them out little by little from before you until you become fruitful and inherit the land.
31 “Mɛto mo ahyeɛ afiri Ɛpo Kɔkɔɔ no ano akɔsi Filistifoɔ mpoano na mede afiri ɛserɛ a ɛwɔ anafoɔ fam no so akɔsi Asuo Eufrate, na mɛma mo adi nnipa a wɔte asase no so no so, na moapam wɔn afiri mo anim.
I will fix your borders from the Sea of Reeds to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates River. I will give you victory over the land's inhabitants. You will drive them out before yourselves.
32 Mo ne wɔn nnyɛ apam biara, na saa ara nso na mo ne wɔn anyame no nnyɛ biribiara.
You must not make a covenant with them or with their gods.
33 Mommma wɔmmɛtena mo mu, ɛfiri sɛ, sɛ wɔbɛtena mo mu a, wɔde wɔn abosonsom no bɛsane mo na sɛ ɛba saa nso a, ɛbɛgu mo asu.”
They must not live in your land, or they would make you sin against me. If you worship their gods, this will surely become a trap for you.'”
