1 Ɔhene Ahasweros hyɛɛ sɛ wɔntua toɔ wɔ nʼahemman mu, a mpo wɔn a wɔwɔ mpoano akyirikyiri no nyinaa ka ho.
And the king levied [a tax] upon [his] kingdom both by land and sea.
2 Ne mmaninyɛ ne Mordekai akunini nneyɛɛ ne sɛdeɛ ɔhene pagyaa no nyinaa no, wɔatwerɛ wɔ Media ne Persia ahemfo abakɔsɛm mu.
And [as for] his strength and valour, and the wealth and glory of his kingdom, behold, they are written in the book of the Persians and Medes, for a memorial.
3 Yudani Mordekai bɛyɛɛ ɔman panin a ne tumi di ɔhene Ahasweros ankasa deɛ akyi. Na ɔdi mu wɔ Yudafoɔ no mu. Na wɔbu no yie, ɛfiri sɛ, na ne nkurɔfoɔ yiedie yɛ nʼahiasɛm. Na ɔne ahemfie hɔfoɔ nyinaa tenaa yie.
And Mardochaeus was viceroy to king Artaxerxes, and was a great man in the kingdom, and honoured by the Jews, and passed his life beloved of all his nation.
