1 Ɔhene Ahasweros hyɛɛ sɛ wɔntua toɔ wɔ nʼahemman mu, a mpo wɔn a wɔwɔ mpoano akyirikyiri no nyinaa ka ho.
And king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.
2 Ne mmaninyɛ ne Mordekai akunini nneyɛɛ ne sɛdeɛ ɔhene pagyaa no nyinaa no, wɔatwerɛ wɔ Media ne Persia ahemfo abakɔsɛm mu.
And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, to what the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
3 Yudani Mordekai bɛyɛɛ ɔman panin a ne tumi di ɔhene Ahasweros ankasa deɛ akyi. Na ɔdi mu wɔ Yudafoɔ no mu. Na wɔbu no yie, ɛfiri sɛ, na ne nkurɔfoɔ yiedie yɛ nʼahiasɛm. Na ɔne ahemfie hɔfoɔ nyinaa tenaa yie.
For Mordecai the Jew was next to king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brothers, seeking the good of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
