< 5 Mose 26 >

1 Sɛ moduru asase a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, de rebɛma mo sɛ mo agyapadeɛ sononko no so, na moko gye tena so a,
And when thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God will give thee to possess, and hast conquered it, and dwellest in it:
2 momfa otwakane wɔ otwa berɛ biara mu no ngu kɛntɛn mu na momfa mmra baabi a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, bɛyi sɛ wɔnkamfo ne din wɔ hɔ no.
Thou shalt take the first of all thy fruits, and put then? in a basket, and shalt go to the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name may be invocated there:
3 Monkɔ ɔsɔfoɔ a ɔwɔ hɔ saa ɛberɛ no nkyɛn na monka nkyerɛ no sɛ, “Menam saa akyɛdeɛ yi so reda no adi sɛ Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, de me aba asase a ɔhyɛɛ mʼagyanom bɔ no so.”
And thou shalt go to the priest that shall be in those days, and say to him: I profess this day before the Lord thy God, that I am come into the land, for which he swore to our fathers, that he would give it us.
4 Afei, ɔsɔfoɔ no bɛgye kɛntɛn no afiri wo nsam de asi Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn afɔrebukyia no anim.
And the priest taking the basket at thy hand, shall set it before the altar of the Lord thy God:
5 Na wobɛka saa nsɛm yi wɔ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, anim sɛ, “Na me tete agya Yakob yɛ otutenani Aramni a ɔkɔtenaa Misraim. Nʼabusua no yɛ ketewaa bi, nanso Misraim hɔ no, wɔdɔɔso bebree bɛyɛɛ ɔman kɛseɛ.
And thou shalt speak thus in the sight of the Lord thy God: The Syrian pursued my father, who went down into Egypt, and sojourned there in a very small number, and grew into a nation great and strong and of an infinite multitude.
6 Ɛberɛ a Misraimfoɔ dii yɛn nya nam so ma yɛyɛɛ wɔn nkoa no,
And the Egyptians afflicted us, and persecuted us, laying on us most grievous burdens:
7 yɛsu frɛɛ Awurade, yɛn agyanom Onyankopɔn. Ɔtee yɛn sufrɛ na ɔhunuu yɛn amanehunu, ɔbrɛ ne ɔhyɛ a yɛwɔ mu.
And we cried to the Lord God of our fathers: who heard us, and looked down upon our affliction, and labour, and distress:
8 Enti, Awurade nam tumi a ɛyɛ nwanwa, ehubɔ a emu yɛ den, nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a ɛpusu nnipa ne anwanwasɛm so gyee yɛn firii Misraim.
And brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand, and a stretched out arm, with great terror, with signs and wonders:
9 Ɔde yɛn baa ha na ɔde asase yi a nufosuo ne ɛwoɔ resene so yi maa yɛn.
And brought us into this place, and gave us this land flowing with milk and honey.
10 Afei, Ao Awurade, mede akyɛdeɛ a ɛyɛ mʼaduanekan a wode firi asase mu maa me no rebrɛ wo.” Afei, fa aduane no si Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, anim na sɔre no.
And therefore now I offer the firstfruits of the land which the Lord hath given me. And thou shalt leave them in the sight of the ford thy God, adoring the Lord thy God.
11 Afei, kɔ na kɔgye wʼani wɔ nneɛma pa a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, de ama wo ne wo fiefoɔ no ho. Wʼanigyeɛ no mu, kae Lewifoɔ ne ahɔhoɔ a wɔte mo mu no nso.
And thou shalt feast in all the good things which the Lord thy God hath given thee, and thy house, thou and the Levite, and the stranger that is with thee.
12 Mfeɛ mmiɛnsa biara, ɛsɛ sɛ moma mo mfudeɛ ho ntotosoɔ dudu sononko. Ɛsɛ sɛ mode saa ntotosoɔ dudu sononko no ma Lewifoɔ, ahɔhoɔ, nwisiaa ne akunafoɔ sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, wɔbɛnya bi adi amee wɔ mo nkuro so.
When thou hast made an end of tithing all thy fruits, in the third year of tithes thou shalt give it to the Levite, and to the stranger, and to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled:
13 Afei, mompae mu nka wɔ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, anim sɛ, “Mede akyɛdeɛ kronkron a ɛfiri me fie ama Lewifoɔ, ahɔhoɔ, nwisiaa ne akunafoɔ sɛdeɛ wohyɛɛ me no. Memmuu wo mmara no bi so anaa me werɛ mfirii wo mmara no bi.
And thou shalt speak thus in the sight of the Lord thy God: I have taken that which was sanctified out of my house, and I have given it to the Levite, and to the stranger, and to the fatherless, and to the widow, as thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments nor forgotten thy precepts.
14 Manni bi ɛberɛ a meretwa adwo anaasɛ ɛberɛ a na me ho nte no. Afei nso, mamfa me nsa anka bi, na mamfa mu bi nso amma awufoɔ. Matie Awurade, me Onyankopɔn, na mayɛ biribiara a wohyɛɛ me sɛ menyɛ no.
I have not eaten of them is my mourning, nor separated them for any uncleanness, nor spent any thing of them in funerals. I have obeyed the voice of the Lord my God, and have done all things as thou hast commanded me.
15 Firi wo soro tenabea kronkron hɔ hwɛ fam na hyira wo nkurɔfoɔ Israel ne asase a wode ama yɛn no—asase a nufosuo ne ɛwoɔ retene wɔ so sɛdeɛ wohyɛɛ yɛn agyanom bɔ no.”
Look from thy sanctuary, and thy high habitation of heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou didst swear to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
16 Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, hyɛ mo ɛnnɛ sɛ, monni saa mmara yi nyinaa so; momfa mo akoma ne mo kra nyinaa nni so.
This day the Lord thy God hath commanded thee to do these commandments and judgments: and to keep and fulfill them with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.
17 Moapae mu aka no ɛnnɛ sɛ, Awurade yɛ, mo Onyankopɔn, na mobɛnante nʼakwan so na mobɛdi ne mmara so ayɛ ɔsetie ama no.
Thou hast chosen the Lord this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways and keep his ceremonies, and precepts, and judgments, and obey his command.
18 Na Awurade aka no ɛnnɛ sɛ, moyɛ ne nkurɔfoɔ, nʼagyapadeɛ a nʼakoma da ho sɛdeɛ ɔhyɛɛ bɔ no; ɛno enti, ɛsɛ sɛ modi ne mmara nyinaa so.
And the Lord hath chosen thee this day, to be his peculiar people, as he hath spoken to thee, and to keep all his commandments:
19 Na sɛ moyɛ saa a, ɔbɛyɛ mo kɛseɛ asene ɔman biara. Afei, mobɛnya nkamfoɔ, animuonyam, na mo din bɛhyeta. Mobɛyɛ ɔman a ɛyɛ kronkron ma Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn sɛdeɛ ɔhyɛɛ bɔ no.
And to make thee higher than all nations which he hath created, to his own praise, and name, and glory: that thou mayst be a holy people of the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken.
