< 5 Mose 23 >
1 Ɔbarima a wɔasa no anaa wɔatwa ne barima atwene no mmma Awurade badwa ase.
He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of Yhwh.
2 Wɔn a wɔyɛ mpena mma ne wɔn asefoɔ kɔsi awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ a ɛtɔ so edu no mmma Awurade badwa ase.
A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of Yhwh; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of Yhwh.
3 Amonfoɔ anaa Moabfoɔ anaa sɛ wɔn asefoɔ kɔsi awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ edu no mu biara mmma Awurade badwa ase.
An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of Yhwh; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of Yhwh for ever:
4 Saa aman yi annye mo, amma mo aduane anaa sɛ nsuo ɛberɛ a mofiri Misraim reba no. Mmom, wɔkɔbɔɔ Beor babarima Balaam a ɔfiri Petor a ɛwɔ Mesopotamia paa sɛ ɔmmɛdome mo.
Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
5 Nanso Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, antie Balaam. Ɔdanee nnome no ma ɛyɛɛ nhyira maa mo, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade mo Onyankopɔn dɔ mo.
Nevertheless Yhwh thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; But Yhwh thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because Yhwh thy God loved thee.
6 Na sɛ mote ase yi, mommmoa Amonfoɔ ne Moabfoɔ ɛkwan biara so da biara da.
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
7 Monnkyiri Edomfoɔ anaa Misraimfoɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, Edomfoɔ yɛ mo nuanom na motenaa Misraimfoɔ nso mu sɛ ahɔhoɔ.
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
8 Misraimfoɔ awoɔ ntoatoasoɔ mmiɛnsa a wɔne mo firii Misraim no bɛkɔ Awurade badwa ase.
The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of Yhwh in their third generation.
9 Sɛ mokɔ ɔko de tia mo atamfoɔ a, montwe mo ho mfiri deɛ ɛho nte biara ho.
When the army goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
10 Sɛ ɔbarima bi ho gu fi ɛsiane anadwo mu ahobaa a, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔfiri atenaeɛ hɔ kɔtena baabi ɛda mu no nyinaa.
If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
11 Ɛduru anwummerɛ a, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdware na owia kɔtɔ a, ɔnsane mmra atenaeɛ hɔ.
But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.
12 Montwa baabi a mobɛgya mo anan wɔ asraafoɔ atenaeɛ hɔ.
Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
13 Mo mu biara mfa sofi nka ne nneɛma ho. Ɛberɛ biara a mobɛgya mo anan no, momfa sofi no ntu amena na monkata agyanan no so.
And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
14 Ɛsɛ sɛ asraafoɔ atenaeɛ hɔ yɛ kronkron, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, nam mo atenaeɛ no so bɔ mo ho ban, na moadi mo atamfoɔ so nkonim. Ɛnsɛ sɛ ɔhunu animguasedeɛ biara wɔ mo mu; sɛ ɛba saa a, ɔbɛdane nʼakyi akyerɛ mo.
For Yhwh thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
15 Sɛ ɛba sɛ nkoa dwane firi wɔn wuranom nkyɛn na wɔba mo nkyɛn bɛgye wɔn ho dwanekɔbea a, mommpam wɔn mma wɔnnsane wɔn akyi.
Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
16 Momma wɔntena mo mu wɔ kuro biara a wɔpɛ so a monnnyɛ wɔn aniɛyaadeɛ.
He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
17 Ɛnsɛ sɛ Israelni barima anaa ɔbaa yɛ no ho hyiadan mu odwamanfoɔ.
There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Mommfa afɔrebɔdeɛ anaa adenya bi a ɛfiri odwamanfoɔ nkyɛn, sɛ ɔyɛ ɔbarima anaa ɔbaa, mma Awurade mo Onyankopɔn fie, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛyɛ Awurade mo Onyankopɔn akyiwadeɛ.
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of Yhwh thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto Yhwh thy God.
19 Bosea a mobɔ mo yɔnko Israelni no, sɛ ɛyɛ sika, aduane anaa biribi foforɔ no, monnnye ho mfɛntom.
Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
20 Motumi gye bosea ho mfɛntom firi ahɔhoɔ nkyɛn, na ɛnyɛ Israelfoɔ nkyɛn, sɛdeɛ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, bɛhyira mo wɔ biribiara a moyɛ mu wɔ asase a morekɔ so akɔfa no.
Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that Yhwh thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
21 Sɛ mohyɛ Awurade mo Onyankopɔn bɔ a, biribiara a mohyɛɛ no ho bɔ no, monyɛ no ntɛm so. Ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn hwehwɛ sɛ, ɛbɔ a moahyɛ no no, mobɛdi so ntɛm so. Sɛ moanyɛ a, mobɛdi ho fɔ.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto Yhwh thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for Yhwh thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
22 Nanso, sɛ moanhyɛ biribiara ho bɔ a, monyɛɛ bɔne biara.
But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
23 Na sɛ wo ara wofiri wo pɛ mu hyɛ bɔ a, hwɛ yie na di asɛm a woaka no so, ɛfiri sɛ, Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn na woahyɛ no bɔ no.
That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto Yhwh thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
24 Wotumi di bobe aba dodoɔ biara wɔ wo yɔnko bobe turom nanso, mfa bi ngu kɛntɛn mu nkɔ.
When thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
25 Saa ara na mobɛtumi de mo nsa apempan aburoo mmɛtem kakra wɔ mo yɔnko afuom, nanso ɛnsɛ sɛ mode sekan twa.
When thou comest into the standing grain of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the heads with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing grain.
