< Kolosefoɔ 1 >
1 Krataa yi firi Paulo a ɛnam Onyankopɔn pɛ so enti, ɔyɛ Kristo somafoɔ no ne yɛn nua Timoteo nkyɛn,
PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy a brother,
2 Yɛde kɔma ahotefoɔ a wɔwɔ Kolose a wɔyɛ Kristo mu agyidifoɔ no: Adom ne asomdwoeɛ a ɛfiri yɛn Agya Onyankopɔn nka mo.
to the saints at Colosse, and to the faithful brethren in Christ: grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Ɛberɛ biara a yɛbɔ mpaeɛ ma mo no, yɛda Onyankopɔn a ɔyɛ Awurade Yesu Kristo Agya no ase.
We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying for you,
4 Ɛfiri sɛ, yɛate mo gyidie a mowɔ wɔ Kristo Yesu mu ne dɔ a modɔ ahotefoɔ no.
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and the love ye show to all the saints;
5 Ɛda a ɛdi ɛkan a motee Asɛmpa no, monyaa mu anidasoɔ a ɛwɔ hɔ ma mo. Enti, mo gyidie ne mo dɔ a mowɔ no gyina mo anidasoɔ a mowɔ a wɔakora no wɔ ɔsoro ama mo no so.
because of the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which ye have heard before in the word of truth, the gospel,
6 Ɛfiri da a ɛdi ɛkan a motee Onyankopɔn adom na mohunuu sɛdeɛ ɛteɛ no, Asɛmpa no de nhyira abrɛ ewiase afanan nyinaa, na trɛ ara na ɛretrɛ sɛdeɛ mohunu no wɔ mo mu no.
which is come unto you, as it is also unto all the world; and beareth fruit, as also among you, from the day that ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
7 Ɛnam Epafra a ɔyɛ yɛn nua ɔsomfoɔ a ɔde gyidie yɛ Kristo adwuma ma yɛn no so na mohunuu yei.
even as ye have learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow-labourer, who is a faithful minister of Christ for you;
8 Ɔkaa ɔdɔ a Honhom no de ama mo no kyerɛɛ yɛn.
who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
9 Esiane saa enti, ɛfiri ɛberɛ a yɛtee mo nka no, yɛbɔ mpaeɛ ma mo daa. Yɛbisa Onyankopɔn sɛ ɔmfiri ne pɛ mu mma mo nyansa ne nteaseɛ a ne Honhom de ma no.
For this cause we also from the day we heard it have not ceased praying for you, and beseeching God that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 Ɛba saa a na mobɛtumi atena ase sɛdeɛ Awurade hwehwɛ na ɛberɛ biara nso, mobɛyɛ deɛ ɛsɔ nʼani. Dwuma biara a mobɛdi no, ɛbɛso aba pa na mobɛnyini wɔ Onyankopɔn ho nimdeɛ mu.
that ye may walk worthy of the Lord, well pleasing him in all things, in every good work fruitful, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Yɛrebɔ mpaeɛ nso sɛ ne tumi ne nʼahoɔden bɛhyɛ mo ma sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a ɛkwan biara so, mode Awurade mu ahosɛpɛ ne boasetɔ bɛgyina biribiara ano.
strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joy;
12 Momfa ahosɛpɛ nna Agya no a ɛnam ne so enti, moanya deɛ Onyankopɔn akora so ama nʼahotefoɔ a wɔwɔ ne hann no mu no bi no ase.
giving thanks to God, even the Father, who hath made us meet for a portion in the inheritance of the saints in light;
13 Ɔgyee yɛn firii esum tumi ase de yɛn baa ne Dɔ Ba no Ahennie mu dwoodwoo.
who hath plucked us out from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of his love:
14 Ne mu na yɛnya ɔgyeɛ. Ne mu nso na yɛnya bɔnefakyɛ.
in whom we have redemption through his blood, and forgiveness of sins.
15 Kristo yɛ Onyankopɔn a wɔnhunu no no sɛso. Ɔno ne abɔdeɛ nyinaa farebae.
Who is the image of the invisible God, the prime author of all creation:
16 Ɛfiri sɛ, ɛnam ne so na Onyankopɔn bɔɔ biribiara a ɛwɔ ɔsoro ne asase so, deɛ wɔhunu ne deɛ wɔnhunu, honhom mu atumfoɔ, awuranom ne ahemfo. Onyankopɔn nam ne so na ɔbɔɔ ewiase nyinaa na ɔbɔ maa no nso.
for by him were all things created, celestial and terrestrial, visible or invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers, all were created by him, and for him:
17 Na ɔwɔ hɔ ansa na wɔrebɔ biribiara, na ne mu na biribiara nya nʼafa pɛpɛɛpɛ.
and he is before all, and by him all things subsist.
18 Asafo no yɛ ne onipadua; na ɔno na ɔyɛ asafo no ti. Ɔno na onipadua no nkwa firi no. Ɔno ne Abakan a wɔnyanee no firii awufoɔ mu sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a ɔno nko ara bɛdi adeɛ nyinaa mu ɛkan.
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first begotten from the dead, that he might be in all things pre-eminent.
19 Ɛfiri Onyankopɔn no ankasa pɛ mu na Ɔba no wɔ Onyankopɔn su nyinaa wɔ ne mu.
For it hath pleased the Father that in him all fulness should dwell;
20 Ɛnam ne Ba no so na Onyankopɔn firi ne pɛ mu de ewiase nyinaa sane bɛhyɛɛ ɔno ankasa ase. Onyankopɔn nam ne Ba no wu a ɔwuu asɛnnua so no de asomdwoeɛ baeɛ, enti ɔde nneɛma a ɛwɔ asase so ne ɔsoro nyinaa ahyɛ nʼase.
and by him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace by the blood of his cross: by him, I say, whether they be things on earth, or things in the heavens.
21 Ɛberɛ bi a atwam no, ɛsiane sɛ na moyɛ bɔne na modwene bɔne ho enti, na mo ne Onyankopɔn ntam kwan ware a na moyɛ nʼatamfoɔ nso.
And you who in time past were all aliens, and enemies in mind by wicked works, hath he now reconciled,
22 Nanso, ɛnam ne Ba no wuo so enti Onyankopɔn afa mo nnamfo sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a mobɛyɛ kronkron a bɔne biara nni mo ho wɔ nʼanim.
by the body of his flesh, through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and irreprehensible in his presence:
23 Ɛsɛ sɛ mokɔ so ma mo gyidie mu yɛ den. Mommma ho kwan mma mo anidasoɔ a monyaa no da a ɛdi ɛkan a motee Asɛmpa no nhinhim. Saa Asɛmpa a wɔka kyerɛ nnipa nyinaa yi enti na me, Paulo, mebɛyɛɛ ɔsomfoɔ no.
if ye abide in faith grounded and firm, and never moved aside from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which hath been preached to the whole creation which is under heaven, of which I Paul am a minister.
24 Ɛyɛ me anigye sɛ merebrɛ mo ho. Menam me honam mu amaneɛ a merehunu no so retoa Kristo amanehunu a ɔhunuu wɔ ne honam mu maa nʼasafo no so.
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh the measure of afflictions for Christ which remains to be endured for his body, which is the church,
25 Onyankopɔn a mo yiedie enti, ɔde saa dwuma yi hyɛɛ me nsa no ayɛ me asafo no ɔsomfoɔ. Dwumadie no yɛ nʼasɛm no ka,
of which I am a minister, according to the dispensation of God, which was given me for you to fulfil the ministry of the word of God―
26 a ɛyɛ ahintasɛm a mfeɛ bebree a atwam no, ɔde hintaa adasamma, nanso afei deɛ, wada no adi akyerɛ nʼahotefoɔ. (aiōn )
the mystery which was hid from ages and from generations, but is now unveiled to his saints; (aiōn )
to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Ɛno enti, yɛka Kristo ho asɛm kyerɛ nnipa nyinaa. Yɛnam adwene pa so bɔ obiara kɔkɔ, kyerɛkyerɛ no sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a obiara a yɛde no bɛhyɛ Onyankopɔn nsa no bɛyɛ pɛ wɔ Kristo mu.
whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
29 Ɛno enti na menam Kristo tumi sononko a ɔde ma me no so yɛ adwumaden.
for which also I am labouring, conflicting in the energy of his might, which worketh in me powerfully.
