1 Ɛberɛ a Paulo ne Barnaba wɔ Antiokia no, nnipa bi firi Yudea bɛkyerɛkyerɛɛ anuanom no sɛ, “Sɛ moamma wɔantwa mo twetia sɛdeɛ Mose amanneɛ no kyerɛ no a, morennya nkwa.”
And, certain persons, coming down from Judea, began to teach the brethren—Except ye be circumcised according to the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 Paulo ne Barnaba ne wɔn gyee saa nkyerɛkyerɛ yi ho akyinnyeɛ dendeenden. Saa asɛm yi enti, Paulo ne Barnaba ne Antiokia asafo no mu nnipa bi kɔɔ Yerusalem kɔhunuu asomafoɔ no ne mpanimfoɔ faa saa nkyerɛkyerɛ yi ho.
And, when Paul and Barnabas had had no little dissension and discussion with them, it was arranged that Paul and Barnabas and certain others from among them should go up unto the Apostles and Elders in Jerusalem concerning this question,
3 Asafo no gyaa wɔn kwan. Wɔrekɔ no, wɔfaa Foinike ne Samaria kaa amanamanmufoɔ gye a wɔagye asɛm no adi no kyerɛɛ wɔn. Nnipa yi tee saa asɛm yi no, wɔn ani gyee yie.
They, therefore, being set forward by the Assembly, began passing through Phoenicia and Samaria, fully relating the conversion of them of the nations, and were causing great joy unto all the brethren.
4 Wɔduruu Yerusalem no, asafo no, asomafoɔ no ne mpanimfoɔ a wɔkaa nneɛma a Onyankopɔn nam wɔn so ayɛ kyerɛɛ wɔn no gyee wɔn.
And, having arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the Assembly and the Apostles and the Elders; and they recounted all things God had done with them.
5 Nanso, Farisifoɔ a wɔabɛyɛ agyidifoɔ no hyɛɛ sɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ wɔtwa amanamanmufoɔ a wɔagye asɛm no adi no nyinaa twetia na wɔdi Mose mmara no so.
But there [had] stood forth some of those who, from the sect of Pharisees, had believed, saying—It is needful to be circumcising them, also to charge them to be keeping the law of Moses.
6 Asomafoɔ no ne mpanimfoɔ no hyiaeɛ, dwenee asɛm yi ho.
And the Apostles and Elders were gathered together to see about this matter.
7 Wɔdwennwenee ho wieeɛ no, Petro sɔre kasaa sɛ, “Me nuanom, monim sɛ berɛ bi a atwam no, Onyankopɔn yii me firii mo mu sɛ menka asɛmpa no nkyerɛ amanamanmufoɔ, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ na wɔbɛte asɛmpa no na wɔagye adi.
And, when much discussion had arisen, Peter standing up, said unto them—Brethren! Ye yourselves, well know that, in days long past, amongst you, God chose that, through my mouth, the nations should hear the word of the glad tidings, and believe.
8 Sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn a ɔnim akoma mu no nam Honhom Kronkron a ɔma ɛbaa yɛn mu no so gyee yɛn too mu no, saa ara na ɔnam Honhom Kronkron no ara so agye amanamanmufoɔ nso atom.
And, the heart-observing God, bare witness, —unto them, giving the Holy Spirit, just as, even unto us;
9 Onyankopɔn anyɛ nyiyimu; ɔnam gyidie so tee wɔn akoma mu.
and made no distinction at all betwixt us and them, by their faith, purifying their hearts.
10 Adɛn enti na mopɛ sɛ mode adesoa duruduru a yɛn agyanom antumi ansoa, na yɛn nso antumi ansoa no soa agyidifoɔ no de sɔ Onyankopɔn hwɛ?
Now, therefore, why are ye proving God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which, neither our fathers, nor we, have been able to bear.
11 Nanso, yɛgye di sɛ wɔnam Awurade Yesu Kristo adom so na agye yɛn nkwa sɛ wɔn ara.”
But, through the favour of the Lord Jesus, we believe we shall be saved, in like manner as, even they.
12 Ɛberɛ a Barnaba ne Paulo kaa anwanwadeɛ a Onyankopɔn nam wɔn so yɛɛ wɔ amanamanmufoɔ no mu maa nnipa a wɔahyia hɔ no teeɛ no, wɔyɛɛ dinn.
And all the throng held their peace, and began to hearken unto Barnabas and Paul relating how many signs and wonders God had done among the nations, through them.
13 Wɔkasa wieeɛ no, Yakobo kaa sɛ, “Anuanom, montie me!
And, after they held their peace, James answered, saying—Brethren! hearken unto me.
14 Seesei ara na Simon kyerɛɛ mu kyerɛɛ yɛn sɛ Onyankopɔn yii amanamanmufoɔ sɛ ne de, de kyerɛɛ dwene a ɔdwene wɔn ho.
Symeon, hath fully told how God, first visited, to take out of the nations, a people for his name.
15 Adiyifoɔ no nsɛm a wɔkaeɛ no ne yei hyia, sɛdeɛ wɔatwerɛ Atwerɛsɛm no mu sɛ:
And, with this, agree the words of the prophets, according as it is written—
16 “‘Yei akyi, mɛsane aba abɛsi Dawid efie a abubu no. Mɛma deɛ adwirie no so, na ma sane masi bio,
After these things, will I return, and will rebuild the tent of David that hath fallen, and, the ruins thereof, will I rebuild, and will set it up again:
17 sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, nnipa a wɔaka no, ne amanamanmufoɔ a me din da wɔn so no bɛhwehwɛ Awurade.’
That the residues of men may seek out the Lord, and all the nations upon whom my name hath been called, saith the Lord that doeth these things,

19 Yakobo toaa so sɛ, “Mʼadwene ne sɛ, ɛnsɛ sɛ yɛha amanamanmufoɔ a wɔde wɔn ho rema Onyankopɔn no.
Wherefore, I, judge, not to be troubling them who, from the nations, are turning unto God;
20 Mmom, momma yɛntwerɛ nwoma nkɔka nkyerɛ wɔn sɛ, ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔdi aduane biara a wɔde ama abosom, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛho nte; afei, wɔntwe wɔn ho mfiri adwamammɔ ho, afei, wɔnnwe aboa a wɔantwa ne mene na ɔwuiɛ; bio, wɔnnni mogya nso.
but to write unto them, to abstain from the pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.
21 Ɛfiri tete, Homeda biara, wɔkenkan saa Mose mmara yi wɔ hyiadan mu, na wɔka ɛho nsɛm nso wɔ kuro biara mu.”
For, Moses, out of ancient generation, hath, in every city, them who proclaim him; seeing, that in the synagogues, every sabbath, he is read.
22 Asomafoɔ ne mpanimfoɔ ne asafo no mu nnipa nyinaa hyiaeɛ, yɛɛ adwene sɛ wɔbɛyi nnipa bi afiri kuo no mu aka Paulo ne Barnaba ho na wɔakɔ Antiokia. Wɔyii mmarima atitire baanu a wɔn din de Yuda, a wɔfrɛ no Barsaba ne Silas.
Then, seemed it good unto the Apostles and the Elders with the whole Assembly to send chosen men from among them unto Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas, —even Judas who is called Barsabbas, and Silas, men taking a lead among the brethren:
23 Nwoma a wɔde ma wɔkɔeɛ no mu nsɛm nie: Anuanom amanamanmufoɔ a mote Antiokia, Siria ne Kilikia, Asomafoɔ ne mpanimfoɔ ne anuanom a wɔwɔ Yerusalem no kyea mo.
writing through their hand—The Apostles and the Elder Brethren, unto the brethren throughout Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, who are from among the nations, wish joy!
24 Yɛtee sɛ anuanom bi a yɛmmaa wɔn tumi firi yɛn mu nam wɔn nkyerɛkyerɛ so tanee mo ani, haa mo adwene.
Inasmuch as we had heard that, certain from among us, had troubled you with words, dismantling your souls, —unto whom we had given no instructions,
25 Yei enti, yɛatu nnipa bi sɛ wɔmmra mo nkyɛn. Saa nnipa no ne Paulo ne Barnaba
It seemed good unto us, coming to be of one accord, that we should choose men and send them unto you, with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, —
26 a wɔde wɔn nkwa abɔ afɔdeɛ ama Awurade Yesu Kristo no na ɛbɛba.
men who have given up their lives in behalf of the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 Afei, yɛresoma Yuda ne Silas a wɔbɛba abɛka asɛm korɔ no ara a ɛwɔ nwoma yi mu no akyerɛ mo.
We have sent, therefore, Judas and Silas, who also, themselves, by word of mouth, can tell you the same things.
28 Honhom Kronkron ne yɛn ayɛ adwene sɛ, saa ahyɛdeɛ yi akyi no, yɛremfa adesoa foforɔ bi a emu yɛ duru nnsoa mo;
For it hath seemed good unto the Holy Spirit and unto us, no greater burden, to be laying upon you, than these necessary things: —
29 monnni aduane a wɔde ama abosom; saa ara nso na monnni mogya. Monnwe aboa a wɔantwa ne mene na ɔwuiɛ. Bio, montwe mo ho mfiri adwamammɔ ho. Sɛ motumi di saa ahyɛdeɛ yi so a, ɛbɛsi mo yie. Yɛsane kyea mo.
To be abstaining from idol sacrifices, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication, —From which, if ye keep yourselves, ye shall prosper. Fare ye well.
30 Wɔgyaa nnipa no kwan maa wɔkɔɔ Antiokia. Wɔduruu hɔ no, wɔhyiaa agyidifoɔ no de nwoma no maa wɔn.
They, therefore, being let go, came down unto Antioch; and, having gathered together the throng, delivered the letter,
31 Agyidifoɔ no kenkanee nwoma no no, emu nkuranhyɛsɛm no maa wɔn ani gyeeɛ.
and, when they read it, they rejoiced for the consolation.
32 Yuda ne Silas a wɔyɛ adiyifoɔ no ne anuanom no kasa kyɛreeɛ, hyɛɛ wɔn nkuran.
And, both Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, with much discourse, consoled and confirmed the brethren.
33 Wɔdii nna kakra wɔ hɔ no, anuanom no gyaa wɔn kwan asomdwoeɛ mu maa wɔsane kɔɔ anuanom a wɔsomaa wɔn no nkyɛn dwoodwoo.
And, when they had spent a time, they were let go, in peace, from the brethren, unto them who had sent them.
34 Nanso, Silas de, wankɔ bi.
35 Paulo ne Barnaba dii nna kakra wɔ Antiokia, boaa anuanom bi maa wɔkyerɛkyerɛeɛ, kaa Awurade asɛm.
But, Paul and Barnabas, tarried in Antioch, teaching and telling the joyful tidings, —along with many others also, —of the word of the Lord.
36 Nna bi akyi no, Paulo ka kyerɛɛ Barnaba sɛ, “Ma yɛnsane nkɔsra anuanom a wɔwɔ nkuro a yɛaka Awurade asɛm wɔ so no nyinaa nkɔhwɛ sɛdeɛ wɔrekɔ so wɔ gyidie mu.”
And, after certain days, Paul, said unto Barnabas—Let us now return, and visit the brethren in every city in which we have declared the word of the Lord, and see how they are.
37 Barnaba pɛɛ sɛ wɔde Yohane Marko ka wɔn ho kɔ,
And, Barnabas, was minded to take with them John also, called Mark;
38 nanso Paulo ampene so, ɛfiri sɛ, wɔwɔ Pamfilia no, ɔgyaa wɔn hɔ a ɔne wɔn antena hɔ ankɔsi awieeɛ.
but Paul deemed it right, as to him who had withdrawn from them, back from Pamphylia, and had not gone with them unto the work, not to be taking with them, this, man.
39 Akasakasa a emu yɛ den sii wɔn ntam maa wɔn mu teteeɛ. Barnaba faa Marko ne no kɔɔ Kipro
And there arose an angry feeling, so that they separated one from the other: and, Barnabas, taking Mark, sailed away unto Cyprus, —
40 na Paulo nso faa Silas. Anuanom no de wɔn hyɛɛ Onyankopɔn adom nsa maa wɔfirii hɔ kɔeɛ.
whereas, Paul, choosing Silas, went forth, committed unto the favour of the Lord by the brethren,
41 Ɔkɔfaa Siria ne Kilikia hyɛɛ asafo no den.
and proceeded to pass through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.
