< 2 Timoteo 4 >
1 Megyina Onyankopɔn ne Kristo Yesu a ɔbɛbu ateasefoɔ ne awufoɔ atɛn, ne ba a ɔbɛba ne nʼahennie no so hyɛ wo sɛ,
I solemnly charge yoʋ therefore in the presence of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead when he appears with his kingdom:
2 ka asɛm no, na ɛberɛ biara gyina ne ka mu denden yi atɛn. Ka anim, tu fo na kyerɛkyerɛ boasetɔ mu.
Preach the word, be prepared whether the time is favorable or not, reprove, rebuke, and encourage, with complete patience and careful instruction.
3 Ɛberɛ bi bɛba a nnipa rentie nkyerɛkyerɛ pa no, na mmom, wɔbɛdi wɔn ara wɔn asɛdeɛ akyi na wɔaboaboa akyerɛkyerɛfoɔ a wɔbɛka nsɛm a wɔrepɛ atie no ano, na wɔaka akyerɛ wɔn.
For a time is coming when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but having itching ears they will surround themselves with teachers to suit their own desires.
4 Wɔbɛpo nokorɛ no tie, na wɔatie anansesɛm.
They will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to myths.
5 Nanso mmerɛ nyinaa mu no, ɛsɛ sɛ wohwɛ wo ho so yie. Mia wʼani wɔ amanehunu mu. Yɛ ɔsɛmpakafoɔ adwuma na di wo dwuma nyinaa sɛ Onyankopɔn ɔsomfoɔ.
But as for yoʋ, be sober-minded in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill yoʋr ministry.
6 Me deɛ, ɛberɛ aduru sɛ wɔde me bɔ afɔdeɛ. Ɛberɛ aso sɛ megya asetena yi. Me nkwa ayɛ sɛ hwiesa afɔrebɔ wɔ afɔrebukyia so.
For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 Ɔko pa no, mako, mmirika no, mawie tu; gyidie no makora.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8 Adeɛ a ɛretwɛn me seesei ne nkonim akyɛdeɛ, tenenee abotire a Awurade a ɔyɛ tenenee ɔtemmufoɔ no de bɛma me da no. Ɛnyɛ me nko, na mmom, wɔn a wɔtena ase ɔdɔ mu twɛn no no nyinaa.
There is now laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day, and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
9 Bɔ mmɔden bra me nkyɛn ntɛm.
Make every effort to come to me soon.
10 Dema dɔɔ ɛnnɛ ewiase yi maa ɔyɛɛ saa dwane gyaa me hɔ kɔɔ Tesalonika. Kreske kɔɔ Galatia, Tito nso kɔɔ Dalmatia. (aiōn )
For Demas, who is in love with this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn )
11 Luka nko ara na ɔne me wɔ ha. Fa Marko ka wo ho na wo ne no mmra, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔbɛtumi aboa me adwuma no yɛ.
Luke alone is with me. Get Mark and bring him with yoʋ, for he is useful to me for ministry.
12 Mesomaa Tihiko kɔɔ Efeso.
Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.
13 Sɛ woreba a, fa mʼatadeɛ a megyaa wɔ Karpo nkyɛn wɔ Troa no brɛ me. Ɛyɛ a fa me nwoma no nso ka ho, ne titire no, deɛ wɔde aboa nwoma yɛeɛ no.
When yoʋ come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus in Troas, as well as my scrolls, especially the parchments.
14 Aleksandro, kɔbere dwumfoɔ no, haa me papaapa; deɛ ɔyɛeɛ no, Awurade bɛtua ne so ka.
Alexander the coppersmith did me great harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.
15 Ɛyɛ a hwɛ wo ho yie wɔ ne ho, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɔsɔre tia nsɛm a yɛka no mu dendeenden.
Yoʋ yoʋrself should be on guard against him, for he has vehemently opposed our message.
16 Ɛberɛ a mereyi me ho ano no, obiara ammoa me. Wɔn nyinaa dwane gyaa me. Onyankopɔn mmfa nntia wɔn.
At my first defense no one came to stand by me; instead, they all deserted me. May it not be counted against them.
17 Nanso, Awurade ne me tenaeɛ maa me ahoɔden maa metumi kaa asɛm no kyerɛɛ amanamanmufoɔ maa wɔtieeɛ. Ɔgyee me firii gyata anom.
But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully made and all the Gentiles might hear. And I was rescued from the lion's mouth.
18 Na Awurade bɛgye me afiri bɔne nyinaa mu na ɔde me akɔ ɔsoro Ahennie no mu asomdwoeɛ mu. Ɔno na animuonyam nka no daadaa. Amen. (aiōn )
And the Lord will rescue me from every evil deed and preserve me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn )
19 Kyea Priska ne Akwila ne Onesiforo fiefoɔ nyinaa ma me.
Greet Prisca and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus.
20 Erasto kaa Korinto ɛnna megyaa Trofimo wɔ Mileto, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɔyare.
Erastus stayed in Corinth, and Trophimus, who was sick, I left in Miletus.
21 Bɔ mmɔden bra ansa na awɔberɛ aduru. Eubulo ne Pude ne Lino ne Klaudia ne anuanom no nyinaa kyeakyea wo.
Make every effort to come before winter. Eubulus greets yoʋ, and so do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22 Awurade ne wo honhom ntena. Adom nka mo nyinaa.
The Lord Jesus Christ be with yoʋr spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
