< 2 Timoteo 3 >

1 Kae saa asɛm yi. Nna a ɛdi akyire no mu mmerɛ no mu bɛyɛ den.
But, of this, be taking note—that, in last days, there will set in perilous seasons;
2 Nnipa bi bɛyɛ pɛsɛmenkomenya, aniberefoɔ, ahohiahiafoɔ ne ahantanfoɔ; wɔbɛyɛ abususɛnkafoɔ, asoɔdenfoɔ wɔ wɔn awofoɔ so; wɔbɛyɛ bonniayɛ na wɔrempɛ nyamesom nso,
For men will be—fond of themselves, fond of money, ostentatious, arrogant, defamers, to parents, unyielding, unthankful, unkind,
3 wɔbɛyɛ atirimuɔdenfoɔ, wɔrenhu mmɔbɔ, wɔbɛyɛ nnipa edinsɛefoɔ basabasa ne abufupɛfoɔ, wɔbɛtane wɔn mfɛfoɔ a wɔyɛ nnipa pa no,
without natural affection, accepting no truce, given to intrigue, without self-control, uncivilized, unfriendly to good men,
4 wɔbɛyɛ afatwafoɔ, aniɛdenfoɔ, wɔn a wɔhoran; wɔbɛpɛ anikadeɛ sene sɛ wɔdɔ Onyankopɔn.
traitors, reckless, beclouded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God,
5 Wɔbɛyɛ aniani asomfoɔ a wɔbɛpo tumi a ɛwɔ ɔsom no mu no. Twe wo ho firi saa nnipa no ho.
having a form of godliness, but, the power thereof, denying! and, from these, turn away;
6 Wɔn mu bi kɔ afie mu kɔhyɛ mmaa a wɔn bɔne ama wɔdi fɔ na akɔnnɔ ahodoɔ bebree hyɛ wɔn so no so;
For, of these, are they who enter into the houses, and captivate silly women, [women] laden with sins, led on by manifold covetings,
7 saa mmaa no yɛ nnipa a wɔpɛ sɛ wɔsua nneɛma foforɔ, nanso wɔnhunu nokorɛ no akyiri kwan.
Ever learning and never, unto a personal knowledge of truth, able to come;
8 Sɛdeɛ Yane ne Yambre ne Mose dii asie no, saa ara nso na saa nnipa yi ne nokorɛ di asie, nnipa a wɔn adwene asɛe na wɔnnka hwee wɔ gyidie mu.
Moreover, like as, Jannes and Jambres, withstood Moses, so, these men also, withstand the truth, —men utterly corrupted in their mind, disapproved concerning their faith;
9 Wɔnnya nkɔsoɔ biara ɛfiri sɛ, obiara bɛhu nkwasea a wɔyɛ te sɛ Yane ne Yambre ara pɛ.
But they shall not force their way further, for, their folly, shall be, fully evident, unto all, —as also, that of those men, became.
10 Na wo deɛ, woadi me nkyerɛkyerɛ, me suban ne me botaeɛ so. Woahunu gyidie a mewɔ ne me boasetɔ, me dɔ,
But, thou, hast closely studied—my teaching, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, love, endurance,
11 taa a wɔtaa me ne mʼamanehunu nyinaa. Wonim nsɛm a ɛtotoo me wɔ Antiokia, Ikoniom ne Listra, ne ɔtaa denden a metumi gyinaa ano no. Nanso, Awurade yii me firii ne nyinaa mu.
persecutions, sufferings, what manner of things, befell me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra, what manner of persecutions, I endured, —and, out of all, the Lord, rescued me; —
12 Wɔn a wɔpɛ sɛ wɔde onyamesom pa tena ase Kristo Yesu mu nyinaa no, wɔbɛtaa wɔn,
Yea and, all who are determined to live in a godly manner in Christ Jesus, will be persecuted;
13 nanso nnipa bɔne bɛkɔ so asɛe daa na wɔadaadaa afoforɔ ne wɔn ankasa wɔn ho.
Whereas, wicked men and howling impostors, will force their way to the worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 Nanso, wo deɛ, kɔ so tena ase nokorɛ mu sɛdeɛ wɔkyerɛɛ wo no, na gye di yie. Wonim wɔn a wosua firii wɔn nkyɛn,
But, thou, —abide in the things which thou hast learned, and been entrusted with, knowing, from whom, thou hast learned [them], —
And that, from a babe, those sacred letters, thou hast known which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through the faith which is in Christ Jesus:
16 Atwerɛsɛm nyinaa firi Onyankopɔn home mu, na ɛyɛ ma nkyerɛkyerɛ, atɛnyie, atenetene ne tenenee mu yɛn,
Every scripture, [is] God-breathed, and profitable—unto teaching, unto conviction, unto correction, unto the discipline that is in righteousness, —
17 sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a Onyankopɔn onipa bɛyɛ deɛ wɔasiesie no yie ama nnwuma pa nyinaa.
In order that, ready, may be the man, of God, unto every good work, being well-prepared.
