2 Tesalonikafoɔ 3

1 Anuanom, asɛm a ɛtwa toɔ ne sɛ, mommɔ mpaeɛ mma yɛn sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a Awurade asɛm bɛkɔ so atrɛ ntɛm sɛdeɛ ɛyɛɛ wɔ mo mu no.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, even as also [it is] with you;

2 Afei, mommɔ mpaeɛ mma yɛn sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a Onyankopɔn bɛyi yɛn afiri abɔnefoɔ ne nsɛmmɔnedifoɔ nsam. Ɛfiri sɛ, ɛnyɛ nnipa nyinaa na wɔgye asɛm no di.

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for all have not faith.

3 Nanso, Awurade yɛ ɔnokwafoɔ. Ɔbɛhyɛ mo den na wagye mo afiri ɔbɔnefoɔ no nsam.

But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and guard you from the evil [one].

4 Awurade ama yɛn mo mu anidasoɔ. Yɛwɔ anidasoɔ sɛ moreyɛ na mobɛkɔ so ayɛ biribiara a yɛbɛkyerɛ mo sɛ monyɛ no.

And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command.

5 Awurade nka mo ho na monnya ɔdɔ akoma sɛ Onyankopɔn ne abodwokyɛreɛ sɛ Kristo.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Christ.

6 Anuanom, yɛhyɛ mo wɔ Awurade Yesu Kristo din mu sɛ, montwe mo ho mfiri anuanom a wɔdi aniha na wɔnni mmara a yɛahyɛ ama wɔn no so no ho.

Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received of us.

7 Mo ankasa monim pefee sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ moyɛ deɛ yɛyɛeɛ no bi pɛpɛɛpɛ. Ɛberɛ a na yɛwɔ mo nkyɛn no, yɛanyɛ aniha.

For yourselves know how ye ought to imitate us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;

8 Obi ammoa yɛn a yɛantua onii no ka. Yɛyɛɛ adwuma dendeenden. Awia ne anadwo nyinaa yɛyɛɛ adwuma sɛdeɛ yɛremfa sikasɛm biara nha mo adwene.

neither did we eat bread for nought at any man’s hand, but in labour and travail, working night and day, that we might not burden any of you:

9 Yei nkyerɛ sɛ na yɛnni ho ɛkwan sɛ yɛbisa mo biribi de boa yɛn asetena. Yɛyɛɛ saa de yɛɛ nhwɛsoɔ maa mo.

not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.

10 Yɛwɔ mo nkyɛn no, yɛka kyerɛɛ mo sɛ, “Obiara a ɔmpɛ sɛ ɔyɛ adwuma no, ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔma ɔdidi.”

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.

11 Yɛka saa asɛm yi, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛte sɛ mo mu bi yɛ anihafoɔ a wɔnyɛ hwee sɛ wɔnenam nkurɔfoɔ nnwuma ase.

For we hear of some that walk among you disorderly, that work not at all, but are busybodies.

12 Yɛde Awurade Yesu Kristo din hyɛ wɔn, bɔ wɔn kɔkɔ sɛ, wɔmmɔ bra pa na wɔnyɛ adwuma mfa mmɔ wɔn ho akɔnhoma.

Now them that are such we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

13 Anuanom monnnyae papayɛ da.

But ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing.

14 Obi wɔ hɔ a ɔrentie nwoma a matwerɛ abrɛ mo yi mu nsɛm. Sɛ mohunu obi saa a, monhwɛ no yie na montwe mo ho mfiri ne ho na nʼanim ngu ase.

And if any man obeyeth not our word by this epistle, note that man, that ye have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.

15 Nanso, mommfa saa onipa no sɛ ɔyɛ ɔtamfoɔ na mmom, mommɔ no kɔkɔ sɛ mo nua.

And [yet] count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

16 Na ɔno asomdwoeɛ Awurade no ara mma mo asomdwoeɛ daa adeɛ nyinaa mu. Awurade ne mo nyinaa ntena.

Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.

17 Me ara me Paulo, me nsa ano atwerɛ a menam so rekyea mo ni. Saa ɛkwan yi ara so na mefa twerɛ nwoma.

The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand, which is the token in every epistle: so I write.

18 Yɛn Awurade Yesu Kristo adom nka mo nyinaa.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
