< 2 Korintofoɔ 9 >
1 Ɛho nhia sɛ metwerɛ mo fa mmoa a ɛsɛ sɛ wɔboa Onyankopɔn nkurɔfoɔ a wɔwɔ Yudea no ho.
I really don't need to write to you about this offering for God's people.
2 Menim sɛ ɛyɛ mo pɛ sɛ moboa enti, mede mo ahoahoa me ho akyerɛ nnipa a wɔwɔ Makedonia no. Mekaa sɛ, “Anuanom a wɔwɔ Hela no siesiee wɔn ho sɛ wɔbɛboa afe a ɛtwaam no mu.” Mo ahokeka no akanyane wɔn mu fa kɛseɛ no.
I know how keen you are to help—I was boasting about this to those in Macedonia that you in Achaia have been ready for over a year, and your enthusiasm has encouraged many of them to give.
3 Afei, merema anuanom yi aba mo nkyɛn sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, hoa a yɛde mo hoahoa yɛn ho no nnyɛ nsɛnkeka kwa. Na, sɛdeɛ mekaeɛ no, mobɛsiesie mo ho aboa.
But I'm sending these brothers so that my boasting about you regarding this won't be proved wrong, and that you're prepared, just as I said you would be.
4 Sɛ anyɛ saa na sɛ nnipa no ne me firi Makedonia ba bɛhunu sɛ monsiesiee mo ho a, yɛn anim bɛgu ase. Mo nso mo anim bɛgu ase bi sɛ modii yɛn hwammɔ.
This is just in case some Macedonians should come with me and find you unprepared. We, not to mention you, would be really embarrassed if this project failed!
5 Enti, medwene ho hunuu sɛ, ɛyɛ sɛ anuanom bi di mʼanim ɛkan na wɔkɔpɛ akyɛdeɛ a mohyɛɛ me ho bɔ no gu hɔ. Ɛba saa a, ɛberɛ a mɛduru hɔ no na ɛwɔ hɔ na adi adanseɛ sɛ mo na momaeɛ ɛfiri sɛ, na mopɛ sɛ moma enti, na mmom, na ɛnyɛ sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ moma.
That's why I decided I should ask these brothers to visit you in advance, and complete the arrangements to collect this offering, so that it would be ready as a gift, and not as something demanded.
6 Monkae saa asɛm yi: Onipa a ɔgu aba kakra bi no, bɛtwa so kakraa bi, na deɛ ɔgu aba bebree no, bɛtwa so bebree.
I want to remind you of this: If you only sow a little, you'll only reap a little; if you sow plenty, you'll reap plenty.
7 Mo mu biara mma sɛdeɛ wadwene ho no, a ɛnyɛ sɛ yea anaa ɔhyɛ mu, ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn pɛ obi a ɔde anigyeɛ ma akyɛdeɛ no asɛm.
Everybody should give as they've already decided—not reluctantly, or because they have to, for God loves those who give with a cheerful spirit.
8 Na Onyankopɔn bɛtumi ama wo aboro deɛ ɛho hia wo no so, enti daa na wowɔ deɛ ɛho hia wo, na wobɛnya bi nso adi dwuma foforɔ a ɛfata sɛ wodi.
God is able to graciously provide you with everything, so that you will always have all you need—with plenty to help others too.
9 Atwerɛsɛm no ka sɛ, “Ɔfiri nʼakoma mu ma ahiafoɔ deɛ wɔhia; nʼadɔeɛ no tena hɔ daa.” (aiōn )
As Scripture says, “He gives generously to the poor; his generosity is everlasting.” (aiōn )
10 Na Onyankopɔn a ɔma ogufoɔ no aba ne burodo sɛ aduane die no bɛma wo nso aba a ɛhia wo nyinaa na wahwɛ so ama anyini na wʼadɔeɛ no enti, aso bebree.
God, who provides seed to the sower and gives bread for food, will provide and multiply your “seed” and increase your harvest of generosity.
11 Daa ɔbɛhwɛ ma woanya wo ho na woayɛ adɔeɛ, na ɛnam so ama dodoɔ no ara ada Onyankopɔn ase wɔ akyɛdeɛ a yɛnya firi mo nkyɛn no ho.
You will be made rich in every way so that you can always be very generous, and your generosity will lead others to be grateful to God.
12 Saa adɔeɛ a moyɛ yi, monnyɛ mma Onyankopɔn nkurɔfoɔ nko, na mmom, ɛnam so ma nnipa bebree da Onyankopɔn ase.
When you serve in this way, not only are the needs of God's people met, but also many will give grateful thanks to God.
13 Esiane dwuma a moadi de adi mo ho adanseɛ pa no enti, nnipa gyina nokorɛ a moadi wɔ Kristo asɛnka no ne mo adɔeɛ a moyɛ maa obiara no so bɛkamfo Onyankopɔn.
By giving this offering you show your true nature, and those who receive it will thank God for your obedience, since it shows your commitment to the good news of Christ and your generosity in giving to them and everyone else.
14 Enti, wɔde ɔdɔ bɛbɔ mpaeɛ ama mo, ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn ama mo adom a ɛboro so.
They will pray for you with much fondness because of God's abundant grace working through you.
15 Yɛda Onyankopɔn ase wɔ nʼakyɛdeɛ a ɛnni kabea no ho.
Thank God for his gift that is far greater than words can express!
