< 2 Korintofoɔ 7 >
1 Me nnamfo pa, wɔahyɛ yɛn saa bɔ yi nyinaa. Enti, momma yɛnte yɛn ho mfiri biribiara a ɛgu honam anaa ɔkra no ho fi ho na yɛntena ase Onyankopɔn mu mfa nte yɛn ho kronn.
Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Mommue mo akoma mu mma yɛn. Yɛnyɛɛ obiara bɔne. Yɛnsisii obiara na yɛmmuu obiara kwasea nso.
Open your hearts to us. We wronged no one. We corrupted no one. We took advantage of no one.
3 Merenka saa asɛm yi mfa ngu mo anim ase. Sɛdeɛ madi ɛkan aka no, yɛdɔ mo enti, daa sɛ yɛwu o, yɛte ase o, mowɔ yɛn akoma mu.
I say this not to condemn you, for I have said before, that you are in our hearts to die together and live together.
4 Megye mo di enti mede mo hoahoa me ho. Yɛn haw nyinaa mu no, mempaa aba. Mede ahosɛpɛ retu mmirika no.
Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
5 Mpo yɛduruu Makedonia no, yɛanhome. Na ɔhaw wɔ hɔ baabiara. Na akasakasa wɔ wɔn ntam. Afei, na ehu wɔ yɛn akoma mu.
For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.
6 Onyankopɔn a ɔhyɛ wɔn a wɔpa aba den no nam Tito ba a ɔbaeɛ no so hyɛɛ yɛn den.
Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
7 Ɛnyɛ ne ba a ɔbaeɛ no nko, na mmom, ka a ɔbɛkaa sɛ mohyɛɛ no nkuran no. Ɔkaa sɛdeɛ mopɛ sɛ mohunu me no kyerɛɛ me. Ɔkaa sɛdeɛ modii yea ne sɛdeɛ na moasiesie mo ho sɛ mobɛbɔ me ho ban no enti seesei, ama mʼani agye sene kane no.
and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, while he told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced still more.
8 Sɛ me krataa a metwerɛɛ mo no hyɛɛ mo awerɛhoɔ a, ɛnyɛ me ya sɛ metwerɛeɛ. Ahyɛaseɛ no ɛhaa me nanso seesei deɛ ɛnha me. Menim sɛ krataa no mu nsɛm hoo mo werɛ ɛberɛ tiawa bi.
For though I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that my letter made you sorry, though just for a while.
9 Nanso, seesei deɛ, mʼani agye, ɛnyɛ sɛ memaa mo werɛ hoeɛ no enti, na mmom, sɛ mo awerɛhoɔ no ama moasesa mo akwan. Onyankopɔn na ɔmaa mo werɛ hoeɛ enti yɛn deɛ, yɛanha mo.
I now rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you were made sorry to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.
10 Awerɛhoɔ a Onyankopɔn de baa mo so no enti, moanya ahonuo bi a ɛnam so de mo bɛkɔ nkwagyeɛ mu; enti ɛnsɛ sɛ ɛyɛ mo ya. Nanso, awerɛhoɔ a ewiase de brɛ yɛn no deɛ, ɛde owuo na ɛba.
For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.
11 Monhwɛ deɛ Onyankopɔn nam ho a ɔmaa mo werɛ hooɛ so ayɛ. Mopɛ sɛ mofiri mo akoma mu kyerɛ sɛ monni fɔ. Mo bo afu. Mo ho adwiri mo. Mo ho pere mo, pɛ sɛ mohunu sɛ atɛntenenee ayɛ adwuma. Moakyerɛ sɛ modi bem wɔ asɛm yi ho.
For look at this very thing, that you were made sorry in a godly way. What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what vindication. In everything you proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
12 Ɛwom sɛ metwerɛɛ saa krataa no deɛ, nanso ɛnyɛ obi a ɔyɛ bɔne anaa obi a wɔyɛ no bɔne enti na metwerɛeɛ. Metwerɛ bɛkyerɛɛ mo mu sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn anim, mode mo ho nyinaa ama yɛn no.
So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be revealed in you in the sight of God.
13 Ɛno na ɛhyɛ yɛn nkuran no. Ɛnyɛ nkuranhyɛ a ɛhyɛɛ yɛn no nko. Tito nso nam gye a mogyee no maa nʼani gyeeɛ no so maa yɛn nso ani gyeeɛ.
Therefore we have been comforted. In our comfort we rejoiced the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.
14 Mede mo ahoahoa me ho akyerɛ no na moanni me hwammɔ. Daa yɛka nokorɛ kyerɛ mo na hoa a mede mo hoahoa me ho kyerɛ Tito no nso aba mu.
For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
15 Enti, sɛ ɔkae sɛdeɛ mo nyinaa pɛɛ sɛ moyɛ ɔsetie ma no na mode obuo ne anidie gyee no fɛ so no a, ɛma ɔdɔ a ɔdɔ mo no mu den ara na ɛreyɛ.
His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.
16 Ɛyɛ me anigye sɛ mɛtumi de me ho nyinaa ato mo so.
I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
