< 2 Korintofoɔ 5 >
1 Yɛnim sɛ, sɛ yɛwu na yɛgya saa onipadua yi a, yɛbɛnya onipadua foforɔ a Onyankopɔn ankasa ayɛ a ɛbɛtena hɔ daa wɔ ɔsoro hɔ. (aiōnios )
For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. (aiōnios )
2 Seesei, yɛsi apinie pɛ sɛ wɔde ɔsoro animuonyam foforɔ no kata yɛn ho,
For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our house which is from heaven:
3 ɛfiri sɛ, sɛ wɔde kata yɛn ho a, yɛn ho renna hɔ bio.
If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 Na sɛ yɛwɔ saa honam yi mu a, yɛsi apinie na adesoa bi da yɛn so; ɛnyɛ sɛ yɛmmpɛ sɛ yɛgya onipadua no, na mmom, yɛpɛ sɛ wɔde ɔsoro atenaeɛ foforɔ no kata yɛn ho sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, nkwa bɛmene deɛ ɛwu no.
For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not because we would be unclothed, but clothed, that mortality might be swallowed up in life.
5 Onyankopɔn na wasiesie yɛn ama saa nsakraeɛ yi. Na ɔde ne Honhom no maa yɛn sɛ deɛ ɔwɔ ma yɛn no nyinaa akyigyina.
Now he that hath wrought us for this same thing [is] God, who also hath given to us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Yei enti, daa yɛwɔ akokoɔduru. Yɛnim sɛ mmerɛ dodoɔ a yɛwɔ saa onipadua yi mu no, ɛma yɛne Awurade fie kwan ware.
Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 Ɛfiri sɛ, yɛn nkwa gyina gyidie so na ɛnnyina deɛ yɛhunu so.
(For we walk by faith, not by sight: )
8 Yɛwɔ nkuranhyɛ enti, ɛyɛ yɛn pɛ sɛ yɛbɛtu afiri yɛn fie wɔ saa honam yi mu na yɛne Awurade akɔtena ne fie.
We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Sɛ yɛwɔ yɛn fie ha anaa nohoa no, yɛpɛ sɛ yɛsɔ nʼani sene biribiara.
Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted by him.
10 Ɛfiri sɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ yɛn nyinaa ba Kristo anim ma ɔbu yɛn atɛn. Sɛdeɛ obiara tenaa ase wɔ onipadua no abrabɔ mu no, sɛ ɛyɛ papa anaa bɔne na wɔbɛgyina so abu no atɛn.
For we must all appear before the judgment-seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to what he hath done, whether good or bad.
11 Ɛfiri sɛ yɛnim sɛdeɛ yɛsuro Awurade enti, yɛka ne ho asɛmpa kyerɛ nnipa. Onyankopɔn nim yɛn yie na mewɔ anidasoɔ sɛ monim me nso wɔ mo akoma mu.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest to God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
12 Yɛrensane nka yɛn ho asɛmpa nkyerɛ mo, na mmom, yɛrebɔ ho mmɔden sɛdeɛ mode yɛn bɛhoahoa mo ho na moatumi abua wɔn a wɔde onipa anim hoahoa wɔn ho na ɛnyɛ wɔn su no.
For we commend not ourselves again to you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to [answer] them who glory in appearance, and not in heart.
13 Sɛ yɛabobɔ adam a ɛyɛ yɛne Onyankopɔn ntam asɛm. Nanso sɛ yɛn adwene mu da hɔ a, ɛyɛ ma mo yiedie.
For whether we are beside ourselves, [it is] to God: or whether we are sober, [it is] for your cause.
14 Afei a yɛahunu sɛ onipa baako na ɔwu maa nnipa nyinaa wuu bi no enti, Kristo dɔ a ɔde dɔ yɛn no na ɛhyɛ yɛn. Yei kyerɛ sɛ nnipa nyinaa wɔ ne wuo no mu kyɛfa bi.
For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
15 Ɔwu maa yɛn nyinaa, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a wɔn a wɔte ase no rentena ase mma wɔn ho bio na mmom, wɔbɛtena ase ama deɛ yɛn enti, ɔwuiɛ a wɔmaa ɔsɔre firii awufoɔ mu no.
And [that] he died for all, that they who live should not henceforth live to themselves, but to him who died for them, and rose again.
16 Enti, ɛnsɛ sɛ yɛgyina onipa adwene so bu obiara atɛn bio. Na sɛ mpo ɛberɛ bi a atwam no na yɛgyina nnipa adwene so na yɛhunu Kristo a, afei deɛ, yɛrenyɛ saa bio.
Wherefore henceforth we know no man according to the flesh: though indeed we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now henceforth we know [him] no more.
17 Sɛ obi wɔ Kristo mu a, na ɔyɛ abɔdeɛ foforɔ, na nneɛma dada nyinaa atwam ama nneɛma foforɔ aba.
Therefore, if any man [is] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
And all things [are] from God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 Asɛm a wɔde abrɛ yɛn ne sɛ, Onyankopɔn nam Kristo so afa nnipa nyinaa adamfo. Onyankopɔn ankan wɔn bɔne antia wɔn na ɔde nʼasomdwoeɛ asɛnka ho dwumadie no ahyɛ yɛn nsa.
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and hath committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Enti yɛyɛ asomafoɔ ma Kristo, na ɛte sɛdeɛ Onyankopɔn nam yɛn so kasa kyerɛ mo. Yesi Kristo anan mu srɛ mo sɛ, momma wɔmfa mo mmata Onyankopɔn ho.
Now then we are embassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 Na Kristo nni bɔne, nanso yɛn enti, Onyankopɔn maa ɔfaa yɛn bɔne sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, yɛnam ɔno Kristo so bɛyɛ teneneefoɔ wɔ Onyankopɔn anim.
For he hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
