< 2 Korintofoɔ 12 >
1 Ɛwom sɛ ahohoahoa ho nni mfasoɔ biara deɛ, nanso ɛsɛ sɛ mehoahoa me ho. Nanso, afei mɛka anisoadehunu ne adiyisɛm a Awurade ada no adi akyerɛ me no.
Well, it is not of profit to me to boast, for I will come to visions and revelations of [the] Lord.
2 Menim Okristoni bi a mfeɛ dunan nie, biribi hwimm no de no kɔɔ ɔsoro. Mennim sɛ saa asɛm yi sii ampa ara anaasɛ ɛyɛ anisoadehunu. Onyankopɔn nko ara na ɔnim.
I know a man in Christ, fourteen years ago, (whether in [the] body I know not, or out of the body I know not, God knows; ) such [a one] caught up to [the] third heaven.
3 Meti mu bio. Menim sɛ wɔhwimm saa ɔbarima yi kɔɔ Paradise. Bio mennim sɛ saa asɛm yi sii ampa ara anaasɛ ɛyɛ anisoadehunu. Onyankopɔn nko ara na ɔnim.
And I know such a man, (whether in [the] body or out of the body I know not, God knows; )
4 Na ɛhɔ na ɔtee nneɛma bi a wɔde ka nsɛm a ɛnyɛ yie, nneɛma a onipa anofafa ntumi nka.
that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable things said which it is not allowed to man to utter.
5 Enti, mede saa onipa yi bɛhoahoa me ho na meremfa me ara me ho nhoahoa me ho gye sɛ nneɛma a ɛda me adi sɛ meyɛ mmerɛ no ho.
Of such [a one] I will boast, but of myself I will not boast, unless in my weaknesses.
6 Sɛ mehoahoa me ho mpo a, anka merenyɛ ɔkwasea, ɛfiri sɛ, nokorɛ ara na meka. Nanso, merenhoahoa me ho, ɛfiri sɛ, mempɛ sɛ obiara bu me otitire sene sɛdeɛ wahunu na wate afiri me nkyɛn no.
For if I shall desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will say [the] truth; but I forbear, lest any one should think as to me above what he sees me [to be], or whatever he may hear of me.
7 Sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a ɛnam saa adiyisɛm nwanwaso yi enti meremma me ho so no, wɔsomaa ɔbonsam ɔbɔfoɔ ma ɔde honam mu yea a emu yɛ den brɛɛ me de brɛɛ me ase.
And that I might not be exalted by the exceeding greatness of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn for the flesh, a messenger of Satan that he might buffet me, that I might not be exalted.
8 Mebɔɔ yei ho mpaeɛ mprɛnsa kyerɛɛ Awurade na mesrɛɛ no sɛ ɔmma ɛmfiri me so nkɔ.
For this I thrice besought the Lord that it might depart from me.
9 Ne mmuaeɛ a ɔmaa me ne sɛ, “Mʼadom nko ara na ɛho hia wo, na ɛberɛ a woayɛ mmerɛ no na me tumi mu yɛ den pa ara.” Enti, ɛyɛ me anigye pa ara sɛ mede me mmerɛyɛ hoahoa me ho, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a mɛte Kristo banbɔ tumi a ɛbɔ me ho ban no nka.
And he said to me, My grace suffices thee; for [my] power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of the Christ may dwell upon me.
10 Esiane Kristo enti, mepene mmerɛyɛ, ɔyea, amanehunu, ɔtaa ne akwansideɛ so. Ɛfiri sɛ, me mmerɛyɛ mu no na meyɛ den.
Wherefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in necessities, in persecutions, in straits, for Christ: for when I am weak, then I am powerful.
11 Meyɛ me ho sɛ ɔkwasea, nanso mo na moama mayɛ saa. Mo na anka ɛsɛ sɛ mogye me tom. Na sɛ menyɛ hwee a, ɛkwan biara so no, mennyɛ sɛ abomfiaa wɔ mo anim nsene “Asomafoɔ” a mobu wɔn no.
I have become a fool; ye have compelled me; for I ought to have been commended by you; for I have been nothing behind those who were in surpassing degree apostles, if also I am nothing.
12 Mede boasetɔ dii dwuma wɔ mo mu de kyerɛɛ sɛ meyɛ ɔsomafoɔ.
The signs indeed of the apostle were wrought among you in all endurance, signs, and wonders, and works of power.
13 Dwumadie no bi yɛ nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ ne anwanwadeɛ. Adɛn enti na moyɛ asɔre a aka no mu abomfiaa, ɛfiri sɛ, mammisa mo mmoa bi nti? Mesrɛ mo momfa saa mfomsoɔ no nkyɛ me.
For in what is it that ye have been inferior to the other assemblies, unless that I myself have not been in laziness a charge upon you? Forgive me this injury.
14 Yei ne ne mprɛnsa so a masiesie me ho pɛ sɛ mebɛsra mo. Na meba nso a, meremmisa mo biribiara. Mo na merehwehwɛ mo.
Behold, this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be in laziness a charge; for I do not seek yours, but you; for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.
15 Ɛbɛyɛ me anigye sɛ mo enti, mɛhwere deɛ mewɔ ne mʼadagyeɛ de aboa mo. Esiane sɛ medɔ mo yie no enti, mo dɔ a modɔ me no so bɛte anaa?
Now I shall most gladly spend and be utterly spent for your souls, if even in abundantly loving you I should be less loved.
16 Mobɛte aseɛ sɛ na mennyɛ adesoa mma mo. Nanso, obi bɛka sɛ, meyɛ ɔdaadaafoɔ a mede nnaadaa yii mo.
But be it so. I did not burden you, but being crafty I took you by guile.
17 Ɛkwan bɛn so? Menam abɔfoɔ a mesomaa wɔn mo nkyɛn no so sisii mo anaa?
Did I make gain of you by any of those whom I have sent to you?
18 Mesomaa Tito sɛ ɔnkɔ, ɛnna mesomaa onua baako kaa ne ho. Mokyerɛ sɛ Tito sisii mo anaa? Ɔno ne me nyinaa kura adwene korɔ nni dwuma korɔ?
I begged Titus, and sent the brother with [him]: did Titus at all make gain of you? have we not walked in the same spirit? [have we] not in the same steps?
19 Ebia, modwene sɛ pɛ ara na yɛpɛ sɛ yɛka biribi de tete yɛn ho wɔ mo anim. Dabi! Yɛkasa sɛdeɛ Kristo pɛ sɛ yɛka wɔ Onyankopɔn anim. Na biribiara a yɛyɛ no nso, me nnamfo pa, yɛyɛ de boa mo.
Ye have long been supposing that we excuse ourselves to you: we speak before God in Christ; and all things, beloved, for your building up.
20 Mesuro sɛ, sɛ meduru hɔ a, sɛdeɛ anka mepɛ sɛ mehunu mo no, merenhunu mo saa. Saa ara nso na sɛdeɛ anka mopɛ sɛ mohunu me no, morenhunu me saa. Menim sɛ mɛba abɛto akasakasa ne anibereɛ, abufuo ne pɛsɛmenkomenya, ɔyea ne nsekuro, ahantan ne basabasayɛ no.
For I fear lest perhaps coming I find you not such as I wish, and that I be found by you such as ye do not wish: lest [there might be] strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, evil speakings, whisperings, puffings up, disturbances;
21 Mesuro sɛ da a mɛba bio no, Onyankopɔn bɛgu mʼanim ase wɔ mo anim na mɛsu ama wɔn a wɔayɛ bɔne dada na wɔnnuu wɔn ho wɔ wɔn akɔnnɔ ne adwamammɔ ho no.
lest my God should humble me as to you when I come again, and that I shall grieve over many of those who have sinned before, and have not repented as to the uncleanness and fornication and licentiousness which they have practised.
