1 Ɔhene Dawid babarima Salomo sɔɔ ahennie no mu den, ɛfiri sɛ Awurade, ne Onyankopɔn kaa ne ho maa no tumi a ɛso.
Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and Jehovah his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
2 Ɔfrɛɛ Israel nyinaa, asahene ne asraadɔm ntuanofoɔ, atemmufoɔ, amanyɛ ne mmusua ntuanofoɔ nyinaa.
Solomon spoke to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every prince in all Israel, the heads of the ancestral houses.
3 Na Salomo dii nnipa no nyinaa anim kɔɔ bepɔ Gibeon so hɔ baabi a wɔde Onyankopɔn Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan no asie. Yei yɛ Ntomadan a Mose a ɔyɛ Awurade ɔsomfoɔ sii wɔ ɛserɛ no so no.
So Solomon, and all the assembly with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the Tent of Meeting of God, which Moses the servant of Jehovah had made in the wilderness.
4 Na Dawid ayi Onyankopɔn Adaka no afiri Kiriat-Yearim de kɔ ntomadan sononko bi a wasi wɔ Yerusalem mu.
But David had brought the ark of God up from Kiriath Jearim to the place that David had prepared for it; for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.

Moreover the bronze altar, that Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made, was there before the tabernacle of Jehovah: and Solomon and the assembly were seeking counsel there.
6 Hyiadan no anim hɔ, Salomo foro kɔɔ kɔbere mfrafraeɛ afɔrebukyia no ho wɔ Awurade anim, bɔɔ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ ahodoɔ apem wɔ so.
Solomon went up there to the bronze altar before Jehovah, which was at the Tent of Meeting, and offered one thousand burnt offerings on it.
7 Ɛda no anadwo, Onyankopɔn yii ne ho adi wɔ daeɛ mu kyerɛɛ Salomo, bisaa no sɛ, “Ɛdeɛn na wopɛ? Bisa na mede bɛma wo!”
In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, "Ask what I shall give you."
8 Salomo buaa Onyankopɔn sɛ, “Wodii mʼagya Dawid nokorɛ na woyɛɛ no adɔeɛ, na afei wode me asi nʼanan mu sɛ ɔhene.
Solomon said to God, "You have shown great loving kindness to David my father, and have made me king in his place.
9 Na afei Awurade Onyankopɔn, mesrɛ wo di ɛbɔ a wohyɛɛ mʼagya Dawid no so, ɛfiri sɛ wode me asi nnipa a wɔn dodoɔ te sɛ asase so mfuturo so ɔhene.
Now, Jehovah God, let your promise to David my father be established; for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
10 Ma me nyansa ne nimdeɛ, na memfa nni wɔn so yie, na hwan koraa na ɔbɛtumi adi wo ɔman kɛseɛ sei so?”
Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this your people, that is so great?"
God said to Solomon, "Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of those who hate you, neither yet have asked long life; but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge my people, over whom I have made you king:
12 mɛma wo nyansa ne nimdeɛ a wobisaeɛ no. Afei, mɛma wo sika, ahodeɛ ne animuonyam a ɔhene biara a wadi wʼanim no nnyaa bi da, nanso ɔrennya no saa da biara da.”
wisdom and knowledge is granted to you. I will give you riches, wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had who have been before you; neither shall there any after you have the like."
13 Na Salomo firii hyiadan a ɛwɔ Gibeon bepɔ no so no mu sane kɔɔ Yerusalem kɔdii ɔhene wɔ Israel so.
So Solomon came from the high place that was at Gibeon, from before the Tent of Meeting, to Jerusalem; and he reigned over Israel.
14 Salomo boaboaa asraadɔm a wɔdɔɔso yie a na nteaseɛnamkafoɔ apem ahanan ne apɔnkɔ ɔpedumienu ka ho ano. Ɔmaa wɔn mu dodoɔ no tenaa nteaseɛnam nkuropɔn mu, na ebi nso tena bɛnee no wɔ Yerusalem.
Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had one thousand four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, that he placed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
15 Salomo ɛberɛ so no, dwetɛ ne sikakɔkɔɔ buu so sɛ aboɔ wɔ Yerusalem. Na ntweneduro aboɔden nnua nso buu so sɛ akyee nnua a na abu so wɔ Yuda mmepɔ ayaase no.
The king made silver and gold to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycamore trees that are in the lowland, for abundance.
16 Na wɔkra Salomo apɔnkɔ no firi Misraim ne Kilikia, ɛfiri sɛ, na ɔhene adwadifoɔ no nya no yie wɔ Kilikia.
The horses which Solomon had were brought out of Egypt and from Kue; the king's merchants purchased them from Kue.
17 Saa ɛberɛ no, na wɔtumi tɔ Misraim nteaseɛnam a wɔde ba Yerusalem no nnwetɛbena kilogram nson, na apɔnkɔ nso, wɔtumi tɔ no nnwetɛbena kilogram mmienu. Wɔn nso kɔtontɔnn wɔn mu pii nso maa Hetifoɔ ne Aram ahemfo.
They brought up and brought out of Egypt a chariot for six hundred pieces of silver, and a horse for one hundred fifty: and so for all the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of Aram, they brought them out by their means.
