1 Enti, Salomo dii Israel nyinaa so ɔhene.
Now king Solomon was reigning over all of Israel.
2 Na yeinom ne ne mpanimfoɔ: Sadok babarima Asaria na na ɔyɛ ɔsɔfoɔ.
And these were the leaders that he had: Azariah, the son of Zadok, the priest;
3 Sisa mmammarima Elihoref ne Ahiya na na wɔyɛ asɛnniiɛ atwerɛfoɔ. Ahilud babarima Yehosafat na na ɔyɛ adehyeɛ abakɔsɛm twerɛfoɔ.
Elihoreph and Ahijah, the sons of Shisha, the scribes; Jehoshaphat, the son of Ahilud, the keeper of records;
4 Yehoiada babarima Benaia na na ɔyɛ akodɔm sahene. Sadok ne Abiatar na na wɔyɛ asɔfoɔ.
Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada, over the army; and Zadok, and Abiathar, priests;
5 Natan babarima Asaria na na ɔyɛ amansini amradofoɔ titenani. Natan babarima Sabud a na ɔyɛ ɔsɔfoɔ no, na na ɔyɛ ɔhene fotufoɔ a ɔde ne ho to ne so.
Azariah, the son of Nathan, over those who were assisting the king; Zabud, the son of Nathan, the priest, the friend of the king;
6 Ahisar na na ɔyɛ ahemfie sohwɛfoɔ. Abda babarima Adoniram na na ɔhwɛ adwumayɛfoɔ so.
and Ahishar, first ruler of the house; and Adoniram, the son of Abda, over the tribute.
7 Na Salomo wɔ amansini amradofoɔ dumienu wɔ Israel nyinaa mu. Na wɔn adwuma ne sɛ, wɔgye nnuane firi ɔmanfoɔ nkyɛn de kɔma ahemfiefoɔ. Wɔn mu biara hwɛ, di saa dwuma yi ɔbosome baako wɔ afe biara mu.
And Solomon had twelve commanders over all of Israel, who offered yearly provisions for the king and his house. For each was ministering the necessities, by each month of the year.
8 Saa amradofoɔ dumienu no edin na ɛdidi soɔ yi: Na Ben-Hur wɔ Efraim bepɔ asase so.
And these are their names: Benhur, on mount Ephraim;
9 Na Ben-Deker hwɛ Makas, Saalbim, Bet-Semes ne Elon-Bet-Hanan so.
Bendeker, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and in Beth-shemesh, and in Elon, and in Beth-hanan;
10 Na Ben-Hesed hwɛ Arubot a Soko ne nsase a ɛwɔ Hefer nyinaa ka ho no so.
Benhesed, in Arubboth: his was Socoh and the entire land of Hepher;
11 Na Ben-Abinadab wɔ Nafat-Dor. (Ɔwaree Salomo babaa Tafat).
Benabinadab, to whom was all of Naphath-Dor, who had Taphath, the daughter of Solomon, as wife;
12 Na Ahilud babarima Baana hwɛ Taanak ne Megido ne Bet-Sean a ɛbɛn Saretan a ɛwɔ Yesreel anafoɔ ne nkuro a ɛfiri Bet-Sean, de kɔsi Abel-Mehola, tra kɔsi Yokmeam akyi no so.
Baana, the son of Ahilud, who was reigning in Taanach, and Megiddo, and all of Bethshean, which is beside Zarethan and below Jezreel, from Bethshean as far as Abelmeholah, opposite Jokmeam;
13 Na Ben-Geber wɔ Ramot-Gilead a Yair nkuro (a wɔde too Manase babarima Yair) a ɛwɔ Gilead ka ho, wɔ Argob mantam a ɛwɔ Basan a nkuropɔn aduosia a wɔde kɔbere apono asisi ano ka ho.
Bengeber, in Ramoth Gilead, who had the town of Jair, the son of Manasseh, in Gilead; the same was first in the entire region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls that had bronze bars;
14 Na Ido babarima Abinadab wɔ Mahanaim.
Ahinadab, the son of Iddo, who was first in Mahanaim;
15 Na Ahimaas wɔ Naftali (Ɔno nso waree Salomo babaa Basmat.)
Ahimaaz, in Naphtali, and he also had Basemath, the daughter of Solomon, in marriage;
16 Na Husai babarima Baana wɔ Aser ne Alot.
Baana, the son of Hushai, in Asher and in Bealoth;
17 Na Parua babarima Yehosafat wɔ Isakar.
Jehoshaphat, the son of Paruah, in Issachar;
18 Na Ela babarima Simei wɔ Benyamin.
Shimei, the son of Ela, in Benjamin;
19 Na Uri babarima Geber wɔ Gilead asase so a Amorihene Sihon ne Basanhene Og amantam ka ho. Na amrado baako pɛ na ɔhwɛ Yuda asase so.
Geber, the son of Uri, in the land of Gilead, in the land of Sihon, king of the Amorites, and of Og, king of Bashan, over all who were in that land.
20 Na nnipa a wɔwɔ Yuda ne Israel no dodoɔ te sɛ mpoano anwea. Deɛ wɔnya di ne deɛ wɔnya nom no, na wɔn ani sɔ.
Judah and Israel were innumerable, like the sand of the sea in multitude: eating and drinking, and rejoicing.
21 Salomo dii ahemman nyinaa so, firi Asubɔnten Eufrate kɔsi Filistifoɔ asase so, de kɔsi Misraim hyeɛ so. Na nnipa a wadi wɔn so wɔ saa nsase no so no de apeatoɔ brɛ Salomo, na wɔkɔɔ so somm no ne nkwa nna nyinaa.
Now Solomon had, in his dominion, all the kingdoms, from the river to the land of the Philistines, even to the border of Egypt. And they offered gifts to him, and they served him all the days of his life.
22 Nnuane a na wɔhia daa wɔ Salomo ahemfie no yɛ asikyiresiam pa susukora ɔha ne aduonum ne atokosiam susukora ahasa,
And the provisions of Solomon, for each day, were thirty cor of fine wheat flour, and sixty cor of meal,
23 anantwie a wɔadodɔre a wɔde wɔn firi buo mu edu, anantwie a wɔde wura ayɛn wɔn aduonu, nnwan anaa mmirekyie ɔha, atwe, nnowa, anwansane ne nkokɔ a wɔadɔre.
ten fattened oxen, and twenty oxen from the pastures, and one hundred rams, aside from the venison of stags, roe deer, and gazelles, and fattened poultry.
24 Na Salomo amantoɔ no yɛ ahennie ahodoɔ a ɛwɔ Asubɔnten Eufrate atɔeɛ fam nyinaa de firi Tifsa kɔsi Gasa. Na asomdwoeɛ wɔ asase no so mmaa nyinaa.
For he had obtained the entire region which was beyond the river, from Tiphsah as far as Gaza, and all the kings of those regions. And he had peace on every side all around.
25 Salomo nkwa nna mu nyinaa, Yuda ne Israel nyaa banbɔ tenaa ase asomdwoeɛ mu. Na ɛfiri Dan kɔsi Beer-Seba no, na abusua biara wɔ ne fie ne ne bobe ne borɔdɔma mfikyifuo.
And so, Judah and Israel were living without any fear, each one under his own vine and under his own fig tree, from Dan as far as Beersheba, during all the days of Solomon.
26 Na Salomo wɔ apɔnkɔdan mpem ɛnan ma ne nteaseɛnam apɔnkɔ ne apɔnkɔ mpem dumienu.
And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of chariot horses, and twelve thousand riding horses.
27 Amansini mu amradofoɔ na na wɔma ɔhene Salomo ne nʼasɛnniiɛ nnuane pɛpɛɛpɛ wɔ wɔn bosome bosome nnuanema no mu.
And the above-stated commanders of the king nourished these. And they also offered the necessities for the table of king Solomon, with immense diligence, each in his time.
28 Na wɔde atokoɔ ne ɛserɛ a ɛho hia brɛ adehyeɛ apɔnkɔ no wɔ wɔn daberɛ.
Also, they brought barley and straw for the horses and beasts of burden, to the place where the king was, just as it was appointed to them.
29 Onyankopɔn maa Salomo nyansa, nteaseɛ ne nhunumu a emu nni hwehwɛbea.
And God gave wisdom to Solomon, and an exceedingly great prudence, and a spacious heart, like the sand which is on the shore of the sea.
30 Nokorɛm, ne nyansa no boro anyansafoɔ a wɔwɔ apueeɛ ne anyansafoɔ a wɔwɔ Misraim nyinaa nyansa so.
And the wisdom of Solomon surpassed the wisdom of all the East, and of the Egyptians.
31 Na ɔnim nyansa sene obiara a Esrahini Etan ne Heman ne Kalkol ne Darda a wɔyɛ Mahel mmammarima no ka ho. Na ne din hyetaa wɔ aman a atwa ne ho ahyia no so.
And he was wiser than all men: wiser than Ethan, the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And he was renowned in all the nations on every side.
32 Ɔbuu mmɛ mpem mmiɛnsa, ɛnna ɔtwerɛɛ nnwom apem ne enum.
Solomon also spoke three thousand parables. And his verses were one thousand and five.
33 Na ɔtumi ka afifideɛ biara ho nsɛm, ɛfiri Lebanon ntweneduro so de kɔsi hisope a ɛfifiri ɔfasuo mpaapaeɛ mu so. Na ɔtumi ka mmoa, nnomaa, mmoa a wɔwea fam ne nsuomnam ho nsɛm nso.
And he discoursed about trees, from the cedar which is in Lebanon, to the hyssop which grows out from the wall. And he explained about beasts, and birds, and reptiles, and fish.
34 Enti, na ahemfo a wɔwɔ aman afoforɔ so tu wɔn ananmusifoɔ ba Salomo nkyɛn bɛtie ne nyansasɛm no bi.
And they came from all the peoples in order to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from all the kings of the earth, who were hearing about his wisdom.
