< 1 Yohane 4 >

1 Me nuanom adɔfoɔ monnnye honhom no nyinaa nni. Mmom monsɔ honhom no nhwɛ sɛ ɛfiri Onyankopɔn anaa. Ɛfiri sɛ, atorɔ adiyifoɔ bebree ahwete wɔ ewiase.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 Ɛkwan a wobɛtumi afa so ahunu sɛ obi wɔ Onyankopɔn Honhom no ne sɛ, ɔbɛpae mu aka sɛ, nokorɛm Yesu Kristo baa onipa tebea mu.
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 Na deɛ ɔnka saa mfa Yesu ho no nni honhom a ɛfiri Onyankopɔn. Saa honhom no yɛ Kristo ɔtamfoɔ. Motee sɛ saa na ɛbɛba, nanso ɛwɔ ewiase ha dada.
and every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not of God; and this is that of the antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
4 Me mma, mofiri Onyankopɔn mu na moadi atorɔ adiyifoɔ no so, ɛfiri sɛ, Honhom a ɛwɔ mo mu no wɔ tumi sene honhom a ɛwɔ ewiase yi mu.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
5 Wɔka nsɛm a ɛfa ewiase ho ma ewiase tie ɛfiri sɛ, wɔyɛ ewiasefoɔ.
They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
6 Nanso, yɛn deɛ, yɛyɛ Onyankopɔn nkurɔfoɔ. Obiara a ɔnim Onyankopɔn no tie yɛn. Na obiara a ɔnyɛ Onyankopɔn onipa no ntie yɛn. Yei nko ara ne ɛkwan a yɛnam so de hunu nokorɛ Honhom ne atorɔ honhom mu.
We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Anuanom, momma yɛnnodɔ yɛn ho ɛfiri sɛ, ɔdɔ firi Onyankopɔn. Obi a ɔwɔ ɔdɔ no yɛ Onyankopɔn ba na ɔnim Onyankopɔn nso.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.
8 Obi a ɔnni ɔdɔ no nnim Onyankopɔn ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn yɛ ɔdɔ.
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 Ɛkwan a Onyankopɔn nam so da ne dɔ adi kyerɛ yɛn ne sɛ, ɔsomaa ne Ba korɔ no baa ewiase sɛdeɛ yɛbɛfa ne so anya nkwa.
By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
10 Yei ne ɔdɔ. Ɛnkyerɛ sɛ yɛdɔ Onyankopɔn, na mmom, ɔno na ɔdɔ yɛn enti ɔsomaa ne Ba sɛ yɛmfa ne so nya yɛn bɔne ho mpata.
In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
11 Anuanom adɔfoɔ, sɛ saa na Onyankopɔn dɔ yɛn a, na ɛkyerɛ sɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ yɛdodɔ yɛn ho.
Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
12 Obiara nhunuu Onyankopɔn da. Sɛ yɛdodɔ yɛn ho a, na Onyankopɔn te yɛn mu na ne dɔ no awie pɛyɛ wɔ yɛn mu.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
13 Yei na ɛma yɛhunu pefee sɛ yɛte Onyankopɔn mu na ɔno nso te yɛn mu. Wama yɛn ne Honhom.
By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
14 Na yɛahunu na yɛaka akyerɛ afoforɔ sɛ Agya no somaa ne Ba maa ɔbɛyɛɛ ewiase Agyenkwa.
We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
15 Obiara a ɔpae mu ka sɛ Yesu yɛ Onyankopɔn Ba no, Onyankopɔn te ne mu na ɔno nso te Onyankopɔn mu.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
16 Na yɛn ankasa nim na yɛgye Onyankopɔn dɔ a ɔde dɔ yɛn no di. Onyankopɔn yɛ ɔdɔ na obiara a ɔte ɔdɔ mu no te Onyankopɔn mu na Onyankopɔn nso te ne mu.
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
17 Ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdɔ yɛ pɛ wɔ yɛn mu sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a yɛbɛnya akokoɔduru Atemmuo da no. Na yɛbɛnya saa akokoɔduru no nso, ɛfiri sɛ, yɛn abrabɔ wɔ ewiase ha no te sɛ Kristo deɛ pɛ.
In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.
18 Ehu nni ɔdɔ mu. Ɔdɔ amapa pam ehu nyinaa. Ehu ne asotwe na ɛnam. Enti, deɛ ɔyɛ ohufoɔ no nwie pɛyɛ wɔ ɔdɔ mu.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 Yɛwɔ ɔdɔ, ɛfiri sɛ, Onyankopɔn na ɔdɔɔ yɛn kane.
We love, because he first loved us.
20 Sɛ obi ka sɛ, “Medɔ Onyankopɔn” na ɔtane ne nua a, ɔyɛ ɔtorofoɔ. Na deɛ ɔnnɔ ne nua a ɔhunu no no, ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na ɔbɛtumi adɔ Onyankopɔn a ɔnhunu no.
If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
21 Yei ne mmara a Kristo hyɛ maa yɛn. Deɛ ɔdɔ Onyankopɔn no, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔdɔ ne nua nso.
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
