< 1 Korintofoɔ 4 >

1 Ɛsɛ sɛ mobu yɛn sɛ Kristo asomfoɔ a wɔde Onyankopɔn ahintasɛm a ɛyɛ nokorɛ no ahyɛ yɛn nsa.
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Adeɛ baako a wɔrehwehwɛ afiri onipa a wɔde ahintasɛm no ahyɛ ne nsa no ne sɛ, ɔbɛdi ne wura no nokorɛ.
Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
3 Sɛ mo anaa onipa bi bu me atɛn seesei a ɛmfa me ho. Mʼankasa nso memmu me ho atɛn.
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man’s judgment: yea, I judge not my own self.
4 Mʼadwene mu yɛ fann, nanso ɛno nkyerɛ sɛ medi bem fitaa. Awurade nko ara na ɔbu me atɛn.
For I know nothing against myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Enti, ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara bu ne yɔnko atɛn kɔsi sɛ ɛberɛ a ɛsɛ bɛba. Awurade ba mu no na wɔbɛbu atɛn a ɛtwa toɔ. Ɔbɛda deɛ ahinta wɔ sum mu no adi na wada deɛ ahinta wɔ nnipa akoma mu no nso adi. Na nkamfo a ɛsɛ sɛ onipa biara nya firi Onyankopɔn hɔ no, wɔakamfo no.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord shall come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will reveal the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise from God.
6 Anuanom, mo enti mede Apolo ne me ayɛ nhwɛsoɔ, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛma mo asuasɛm a ɛka sɛ, “Di mmara pa so” no. Ɛnsɛ sɛ mo mu biara de onipa bi hoahoa ne ho na ɔbu ɔfoforɔ nso onipa teta.
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye may learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you on account of one may be puffed up against another.
For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
8 Biribiara a mohwehwɛ no, mo nsa aka dada! Moyɛ adefoɔ dada. Moayeyɛ ahemfo, nanso yɛnyɛ bi! Nokorɛm, anka mepɛ sɛ moyɛ ahemfo na anka yɛn nso yɛyɛ ahemfo bɛka mo ho.
Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I wish ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 Ɛyɛ me sɛ yɛn asomafoɔ yi deɛ, Onyankopɔn de yɛn atwa toɔ sɛ nnipa bi a wɔabu wɔn kumfɔ wɔ badwa mu sɛ nnipa ne ewiase abɔfoɔ nyinaa nhwɛ.
For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 Kristo enti, yɛyɛ nkwaseafoɔ, nanso moyɛ anyansafoɔ wɔ Kristo mu. Yɛyɛ mmerɛ, nanso moyɛ den. Wɔmmu yɛn, nanso wɔbu mo.
We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.
11 Ɛbɛsi saa ɛberɛ yi mu ɛkɔm ne sukɔm de yɛn. Yɛfira ntomago; wɔhwe yɛn; yɛdi atutena;
Even to this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;
12 yɛyɛ adwuma a ɛyɛ den de hwɛ yɛn ho. Wɔdome yɛn a, yɛhyira; wɔhwe yɛn a yɛgyina ano.
And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we endure it:
13 Wɔya yɛn a, yɛde kasa pa bua. Yɛte sɛ ewiase yi mu wira bi a yɛnka hwee de bɛsi ɛnnɛ.
Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things to this day.
14 Ɛnyɛ sɛ mepɛ sɛ megu mo anim ase enti na metwerɛɛ saa nwoma yi brɛɛ mo. Na mmom, mepɛ sɛ mekyerɛ mo ɛkwan sɛ me ara me mma a medɔ wɔn.
I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.
15 Na sɛ mowɔ ahwɛfoɔ ɔpedu mpo wɔ mo asetena mu wɔ Kristo mu a, mowɔ Agya baako pɛ. Na mo nkwa a ɛwɔ Kristo Yesu mu no enti, menam asɛmpa a meka kyerɛɛ mo no so abɛyɛ mo agya.
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
16 Mesrɛ mo sɛ monsuasua me.
Therefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
17 Ɛnam yei so enti, meresoma Timoteo na waba mo nkyɛn. Ɔyɛ mʼankasa me dɔ ba a ɔdi me nokorɛ wɔ Awurade mu. Ɔbɛkaakae mo mʼakwan foforɔ a menam so di Kristo Yesu akyi ne nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛ wɔ asafo biara a mekɔ mu no.
For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which are in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
18 Mo mu bi ayɛ ahantan, susu sɛ meremmɛsra mo.
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
19 Sɛ Awurade pɛ a, ɛrenkyɛre biara mɛba mo nkyɛn na mʼankasa mabɛhwɛ dwuma a saa ahantanfoɔ yi bɛtumi adi na ɛnyɛ asɛm a wɔbɛka no.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them who are puffed up, but the power.
20 Onyankopɔn Ahennie no nyɛ nsɛnkeka na ɛyɛ tumi.
For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
21 Emu deɛ ɛwɔ he na mopɛ? Memmɛbɔ mo mmaa anaa akoma a ɔdɔ wɔ mu na ɛbu adeɛ na memfa mmra mo nkyɛn?
What will ye? shall I come to you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
