< 1 Korintofoɔ 11 >
1 Monsua me sɛdeɛ mesua Kristo no.
Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2 Mekamfo mo, ɛfiri sɛ, ɛberɛ biara, mokae me di me nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛɛ mo no so.
Now I praise you, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.
3 Na mepɛ sɛ mote aseɛ sɛ, ɔbarima tiri ne Kristo, na ɔbarima yɛ ɔbaa tiri, nanso Kristo tiri ne Onyankopɔn.
But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.
4 Enti, ɔbarima biara a ɔkata ne tiri so bɔ mpaeɛ anaa ɔka Onyankopɔn asɛm wɔ badwam no gu Kristo anim ase.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
5 Na ɔbaa a ɔnkata ne tiri so na ɔbɔ mpaeɛ ka Onyankopɔn asɛm wɔ badwam no nso gu ne kunu anim ase. Nsonsonoeɛ biara nna ɔne ɔbaa a wayi ne tirinwi no ntam.
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head unveiled dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
6 Sɛ ɔbaa no nkata ne tiri so a, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔtwitwa ne tirinwi gu. Esiane sɛ ɛyɛ animguaseɛ sɛ ɔbaa bɛyi ne tirinwi anaa ɔbɛtwitwa agu no enti, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔkata so.
For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
7 Ɛho nhia sɛ ɔbarima bɛkata ne tiri so, ɛfiri sɛ, ɔyɛ Onyankopɔn animuonyam ne ne sɛso
For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 na wɔammɔ ɔbarima amfiri ɔbaa mu, na mmom, wɔbɔɔ ɔbaa firii ɔbarima mu.
For man is not from woman, but woman from man;
9 Saa ara nso na ɛnyɛ ɔbaa enti na wɔbɔɔ ɔbarima, nanso ɔbaa deɛ, ɔbarima enti na wɔbɔɔ no.
for neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man.
10 Esiane saa asɛm yi ne abɔfoɔ no enti, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔbaa nya nkatasoɔ bi wɔ ne tiri so, de kyerɛ sɛ ɔhyɛ tumi bi ase.
For this cause the woman ought to have authority on her head, because of the angels.
11 Yɛn asetena wɔ Awurade mu no, ɔbaa nne ne ho ɛnna ɔbarima nso nne ne ho.
Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.
12 Na sɛdeɛ wɔbɔɔ ɔbaa firii ɔbarima mu no, saa ara nso na ɔbaa woo ɔbarima, na biribiara nso firi Onyankopɔn.
For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
13 Ɛyɛ sɛ ɔbaa bɛbɔ mpaeɛ afrɛ Onyankopɔn wɔ badwa mu a biribiara nkata ne tiri so anaa? Mo ara mommua mfa.
Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
14 Ɛnyɛ saa abɔdeɛ korɔ no ara na ɛka sɛ, sɛ ɔbarima tiri fu bebree a, ɛyɛ animguaseɛ ma no no?
Doesn't even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
15 Nanso, sɛ ɔbaa deɛ, ne tiri fu pii a, ɛyɛ animuonyam ma no no? Wɔama no nwi pii sɛ akatasoɔ.
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
16 Nanso, sɛ obi pɛ sɛ ɔgye ho akyinnyeɛ a, asɛm a mewɔ ka wɔ ho ara ne sɛ, yɛn anaa Onyankopɔn asafo no nni ɛkwan foforɔ biara a wɔfa so som.
But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God's churches.
17 Nhyehyɛeɛ a ɛdidi so yi a mereka akyerɛ mo yi, menkamfo mo, ɛfiri sɛ, mo asafo nhyiamu de ɔhaw brɛ mo mmom.
But in giving you this command, I do not praise you, that you come together not for the better but for the worse.
18 Deɛ ɛdi ɛkan no, mate sɛ mo ne mo ho mo ho di asie wɔ mo nhyiamu mu na megye di sɛ nokorɛ kakra wɔ mu.
For first of all, when you come together in the church, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
19 Akyinnyeɛ biara nni ho sɛ ɛsɛ sɛ mo mu kyekyɛ sɛdeɛ nokorɛ bɛda adi.
For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
20 Sɛ mohyia sɛ kuo a, momma sɛ morebɛdi Awurade Adidi no.
When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat.
21 Na mogu so redidi no, obiara di nʼaduane wɔ ɛberɛ a ɛkɔm de ebinom na afoforɔ nso aboboro nsã.
For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunk.
22 Mo ara monni afie a modidi nom wɔ mu? Anaasɛ mopɛ sɛ mogu Onyankopɔn asafo no ne wɔn a adeɛ ahia wɔn no anim ase? Ɛdeɛn na mohwehwɛ sɛ meka fa saa asɛm yi ho kyerɛ mo? Menkamfo mo anaa? Ɛsɛ sɛ mohunu sɛ ɛnsɛ sɛ mekamfo mo!
What, do you not have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's church, and put them to shame who do not have? What should I tell you? Should I praise you? In this I do not praise you.
23 Awurade nkyɛn na menya nkyerɛkyerɛ a mekyerɛkyerɛ mo no sɛ, Awurade Yesu, anadwo a wɔyii no maeɛ no, ɔfaa burodo
For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
24 na ɔdaa Onyankopɔn ase no, ɔbuu mu kaa sɛ, “Yei ne me onipadua a mede ma mo. Monyɛ yei mfa nkae me.”
When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body, which is for you. Do this in memory of me."
25 Saa ara na Adidi no akyi no, ɔfaa kuruwa na ɔkaa sɛ, “Saa kuruwa yi yɛ Onyankopɔn apam foforɔ a wɔde me mogya ahyɛ mu den. Ɛberɛ biara a mobɛnom no, momfa nkae me.”
In the same way he also took the cup, after the meal, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me."
26 Ɛberɛ biara a mobɛdi burodo no na mobɛnom kuruwa no ano no, monka Awurade wuo no ho asɛm kɔsi sɛ ɔbɛba.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
27 Ɛkyerɛ sɛ, sɛ obi di Awurade burodo no na ɔnom kuruwa no ano wɔ ɛkwan a ɛmfata so a, ɔdi Awurade onipadua ne ne mogya no ho fɔ.
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord's cup in a manner unworthy will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
28 Enti ansa na obiara bɛdi burodo no, anom kuruwa no ano no, ɛsɛ sɛ ɔkari ne ho hwɛ.
But let a person examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.
29 Na sɛ wammu Awurade onipadua no na ɔdi nom firi kuruwa no mu a, ɔdi nom de atemmuo ba nʼankasa so.
For he who eats and drinks eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he does not discern the body.
30 Ɛno enti na mo mu bebree yareyare na moyɛ mmerɛ na mo mu pii awuwu no.
For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
31 Sɛ yɛkari yɛn ho hwɛ ansa a, yɛrenkɔ Onyankopɔn atemmuo mu.
For if we discerned ourselves, we would not be judged.
32 Nanso, Awurade bu yɛn atɛn, twe yɛn aso sɛdeɛ ɔremmu yɛne ewiase nyinaa fɔ.
But when we are judged, we are punished by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
33 Ɛno enti, me nuanom, sɛ mohyia sɛ morekɔ Awurade Adidi no a, montwɛn mo ho mo ho.
Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait one for another.
34 Sɛ ɛkɔm de obi a, ɔnnidi wɔ efie na Onyankopɔn ammu no atɛn wɔ wɔn nhyiamu no ase. Nsɛm a aka no, sɛ meba a, mɛka ho asɛm.
But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
