1 Dawid ne asahene no yiyii mmarima firii Asaf, Heman ne Yedutun mmusua mu sɛ wɔmfa nsankuten, mmɛnta ne kyankyan mmɔ Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho dawuro. Wɔn din ne wɔn nnwuma na ɛdidi soɔ yi:
And David and the captains of the host set apart for service, unto the sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, such as should prophesy, with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals, —and, the number of the workers, for their service, was:
2 Na Asaf mmammarima no nie: Sakur, Yosef, Netania ne Asarela. Na wɔhyɛ wɔn agya Asaf ase. Ɔno na ɔhene hyɛɛ no ma ɔbɔɔ Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho dawuro.
Of the sons of Asaph, Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph, —under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.
3 Na Yedutun wɔ mmammarima a wɔn nie: Gedalia, Seri, Yesaia, Simei, Hasabia ne Matitia. Wɔyɛ baasia a wɔhyɛ wɔn agya Yedutun ase. Ɔno na ɔnam sankuten so de aseda ne nkamfo maa Awurade de bɔɔ Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho dawuro.
Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun, —Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, with the lyre, as he prophesied, in giving thanks and offering praise unto Yahweh.
4 Na Heman mmammarima din nie: Bukia, Matania, Usiel, Sebuel, Yerimot, Hanania, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romamti-Eser, Yosbekasa, Maloti, Hotir, ne Mahasiot.
Of Heman, the sons of Heman—Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jeremoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
5 Yeinom ne Heman a ɔyɛ ɔhene nkɔmhyɛni no mmammarima. Onyankopɔn domm no mmammarima dunan ne mmammaa baasa.
All these, were sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the things of God, at the lifting of the horn. And God gave to Heman, fourteen sons and three daughters,
6 Na saa mmarima yi nyinaa hyɛ wɔn agyanom ase, na wɔnam so too nnwom wɔ Awurade fie. Wɔn nnwuma ne sɛ wɔbɔ kyankyan, mmɛnta ne nsankuten wɔ Onyankopɔn fie. Na Asaf, Yedutun ne Heman hyɛ ɔhene no ase.
All these, were under the direction of their father, in the singing of the house of Yahweh, with cymbals, harps and lyres, for the service of the house of God, —Asaph and Jeduthun and Heman, under the direction of the king.
7 Na wɔatete wɔn ne wɔn abusuafoɔ nyinaa wɔ nnwom a wɔbɔ wɔ Awurade anim no mu. Na wɔn nyinaa dodoɔ yɛ ahanu aduɔwɔtwe nwɔtwe na wɔn mu biara wɔ nnwontoɔ ho nimdeɛ.
And, the number of them—with their brethren, who were instructed in singing unto Yahweh, —even all the skilful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
8 Wɔnam ntontobɔ kronkron so yiyii nnwomtofoɔ tuatuaa nnwuma ahodoɔ ano a wɔanhwɛ sɛ obi yɛ abɔfra anaa ɔpanin, ɔkyerɛkyerɛfoɔ anaa osuani.
So they cast lots for their charges, all alike, as the small so the great, the teacher with the learner.
9 Ntonto a ɛdi ɛkan no bɔɔ Yosef a ɔfiri Asaf abusua mu, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ Ntonto a ɛtɔ so mmienu no bɔɔ Gedalia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
And the first lot came forth for Asaph, to Joseph, —Gedaliah, the second, he and his brethren and his sons, twelve.
10 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Sakur, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The third, Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
11 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so ɛnan no bɔɔ Yisri, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The fourth, to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
12 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so enum no bɔɔ Netania, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
13 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nsia no bɔɔ Bukia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
14 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nson no bɔɔ Yesarela, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
15 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nwɔtwe no bɔɔ Yesaia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
16 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nkron no bɔɔ Matania, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
17 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so edu no bɔɔ Simei, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
18 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dubaako no bɔɔ Asarel, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The eleventh, Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
19 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumienu no bɔɔ Hasabia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
The twelfth, to Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
20 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumiɛnsa no bɔɔ Subael, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
21 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunan no bɔɔ Matitia, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
22 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunum no bɔɔ Yeremot, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the fifteenth, to Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
23 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunsia no bɔɔ Hanania, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the sixteenth, to Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
24 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunson no bɔɔ Yosbekasa, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the seventeenth, to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
25 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunwɔtwe no bɔɔ Hanani, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the eighteenth, to Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
26 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunkron no bɔɔ Maloti, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the nineteenth, to Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
27 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu no bɔɔ Eliata, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the twentieth, to Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
28 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu baako no bɔɔ Hotir, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the twenty-first, to Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
29 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmienu no bɔɔ Gidalti, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the twenty-second, to Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
30 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Mahasiot, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the twenty-third, to Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
31 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu ɛnan no bɔɔ Romamti-Eser, ɔne ne mmammarima ne nʼabusuafoɔ
As the twenty-fourth, to Romamti-ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
