1 Sɛdeɛ wɔkyekyɛɛ Aaron asefoɔ a wɔyɛ asɔfoɔ no mu akuakuo ma wɔsomeeɛ no nie: Na Aaron mmammarima no yɛ Nadab, Abihu, Eleasa ne Itamar.
The sons of Aaron were placed in divisions as follows. The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Nanso, Nadab ne Abihu wuiɛ a wɔnni mma ansa na wɔn agya rewu. Enti, ɛkaa Eleasa ne Itamar nko ara a na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔyɛ asɔfoɔ.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did, and they had no sons. Only Eleazar and Ithamar carried on as priests.
3 Mmoa a Sadok a na ɔyɛ Eleasa aseni ne Ahimelek a na ɔyɛ Itamar aseni no boaa no enti, Dawid kyekyɛɛ Aaron asefoɔ mu akuakuo sɛdeɛ wɔn dwumadie teɛ.
With the help of Zadok, a descendant of Eleazar, and Ithamar, a descendant Ahimelech, David placed them in divisions according to their appointed duties.
4 Wɔkyɛɛ Itamar deɛ mu akuo nwɔtwe, ɛfiri sɛ, na Eleasa asefoɔ mu mmusua mpanimfoɔ no dɔɔso.
Because Eleazar's descendants had more leaders than those of Ithamar, they were divided like this: sixteen family leaders from the descendants of Eleazar, and eight from the descendants of Ithamar.
5 Wɔnam ntontobɔ kronkron so, kyekyɛɛ dwumadie ahodoɔ nyinaa maa akuakuo no, sɛdeɛ ɛrenyɛ nhwɛanimsɛm biara. Ɛfiri sɛ, na mpanimfoɔ bebree a wɔfata sɛ wɔsom Onyankopɔn kronkronbea hɔ a wɔyɛ Eleasa ne Itamar asefoɔ no nso wɔ hɔ.
They were divided by casting lots, without preference, for there were officers of the sanctuary and officers of God from both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.
6 Netanel babarima Semaia a na ɔyɛ Lewini no yɛɛ adwuma sɛ ɔtwerɛfoɔ. Ɔtwerɛɛ din ne nnwuma ahodoɔ wɔ ɔhene no ne ɔsɔfoɔ Sadok ne Abiatar babarima Ahimelek ne asɔfoɔ no ne Lewi mmusua no mpanimfoɔ anim. Eleasa ne Itamar asefoɔ bobɔɔ ntonto sɛdeɛ ɛdidi soɔ yi:
Shemaiah son of Nethanel, a Levite, was the secretary. He wrote down the names and assignments in the presence of the king, the officials, Zadok the priest, Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the family leaders of the priests and Levites. One family from Eleazar and one from Ithamar were chosen in turn.

The first lot fell to Jehoiarib. The second to Jedaiah.
8 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Harim. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so ɛnan no bɔɔ Seorim.
The third to Harim. The fourth to Seorim.
9 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so enum no bɔɔ Malkia. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nsia no bɔɔ Miyamin.
The fifth to Malkijah. The sixth to Mijamin.
10 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nson no bɔɔ Hakos. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nwɔtwe no bɔɔ Abia.
The seventh to Hakkoz. The eighth to Abijah.
11 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so nkron no bɔɔ Yesua. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so edu no bɔɔ Sekania.
The ninth to Jeshua. The tenth to Shecaniah.
12 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dubaako no bɔɔ Eliasib. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumienu no bɔɔ Yakim.
The eleventh to Eliashib. The twelfth to Jakim.
13 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dumiɛnsa no bɔɔ Hupa. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunan no bɔɔ Yesebeab.
The thirteenth to Huppah. The fourteenth to Jeshebeab.
14 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunum no bɔɔ Bilga. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunsia no bɔɔ Imer.
The fifteenth to Bilgah. The sixteenth to Immer.
15 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunson no bɔɔ Hesir. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunwɔtwe no bɔɔ Hapises.
The seventeenth to Hezir. The eighteenth to Happizzez.
16 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so dunkron no bɔɔ Petahia. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu no bɔɔ Yeheskel.
The nineteenth to Pethahiah. The twentieth to Jehezkel.
17 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu baako no bɔɔ Yakin. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmienu no bɔɔ Gamul.
The twenty-first to Jakin. The twenty-second to Gamul.
18 Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu mmiɛnsa no bɔɔ Delaia. Ntonto a ɛtɔ so aduonu ɛnan no bɔɔ Maasia.
The twenty-third to Delaiah. The twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 Ekuo biara dii ne dwuma wɔ Awurade fie sɛdeɛ wɔn agya Aaron nam Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn akwankyerɛ so hyehyɛ maa wɔn no.
This was the order in which each group were to serve when they came into the house of the Lord, following the procedure defined for them by their forefather Aaron, as instructed by the Lord, the God of Israel.
20 Yeinom ne mmusua a aka a wɔyɛ Lewi asefoɔ no mpanimfoɔ: Amram asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Subael. Subael asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Yehdeia.
These were the rest of the sons of Levi: from the sons of Amram: Shubael; from the sons of Shubael: Jehdeiah.
21 Rehabia asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Yisia.
For Rehabiah, from his sons: Isshiah (first).
22 Yishar asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Selomot. Selomot asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Yahat.
From the Izharites: Shelomoth; from the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 Hebron asefoɔ ntuanofoɔ ne: Yeria; Amaria ne nʼabadiakyire, Yahasiel na ɔtɔ so mmiɛnsa na Yekameam tɔ so ɛnan.
The sons of Hebron: Jeriah (first), Amariah (second), Jahaziel (third), and Jekameam (fourth).
24 Usiel asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Mika. Mika asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Samir
The son of Uzziel: Micah; from the sons of Micah: Shamir.
25 ne Mika nuabarima Yisia. Yisia asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Sakaria.
The brother of Micah: Isshiah; from the sons of Isshiah: Zechariah.
26 Merari asefoɔ ntuanofoɔ ne Mahli ne Musi. Yasia asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Beno.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The son of Jaaziah: Beno.
27 Merari asefoɔ a wɔfiri Yasia mu no, ntuanofoɔ no ne: Beno, Soham, Sakur ne Ibri.
The sons of Merari: from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur and Ibri.
28 Mahli asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Eleasa a na ɔnni mmammarima no.
From Mahli: Eleazar, who did not have any sons.
29 Kis asefoɔ ntuanoni ne Yerahmeel.
From Kish: the son of Kish, Jerahmeel.
30 Musi asefoɔ ntuanofoɔ ne Mahli, Eder ne Yerimot. Yeinom ne Lewi asefoɔ ne sɛdeɛ wɔn mmusua teɛ.
The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites, according to their families.
31 Wɔnam ntonto kronkron a wɔbɔɔ wɔ wɔn so na wɔde wɔn nnwuma hyɛɛ wɔn nsa te sɛ Aaron asefoɔ deɛ no, a wɔanhwɛ mfeɛ a wɔadi ne wɔn diberɛ. Wɔdii dwuma no wɔ ɔhene Dawid, Sadok, Ahimelek, asɔfoɔ ne Lewifoɔ mmusua mpanimfoɔ no anim.
They also cast lots in the same way their relatives the descendants of Aaron did. They did this in the presence of King David, and of Zadok, Ahimelech, and the family leaders of the priests and of the Levites, the family leaders and their youngest brothers alike.
