< 1 Berɛsosɛm 15 >
1 Afei, Dawid sisii adan bebree wɔ Dawid kurom. Bio, ɔsiesiee baabi, sii ntomadan wɔ hɔ a ɔde Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no bɛsi.
And David built houses for himself in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
2 Afei, ɔhyɛɛ sɛ, “Sɛ yɛma Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no so de rekɔ a, obiara nni ho kwan sɛ ɔsoa bi agye Lewifoɔ no nko ara. Awurade ayi wɔn sɛ, wɔn nko ara na ɛsɛ sɛ wɔsoa Awurade Apam Adaka no na wɔsom wɔ nʼanim daa daa.”
Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister to him for ever.
3 Afei, Dawid frɛɛ Israelfoɔ nyinaa kɔɔ Yerusalem sɛ wɔmfa Awurade Apam Adaka no nkɔsi baabi a wɔasiesie ama no no.
And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD to its place, which he had prepared for it.
4 Yeinom ne asɔfoɔ ne Lewifoɔ a wɔfrɛɛ wɔn no:
And David assembled the children of Aaron, and the Levites:
5 Wɔn a wɔfiri Kohat abusua mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ ɔha aduonu a Uriel yɛ wɔn ntuanoni.
Of the sons of Kohath; Uriel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twenty:
6 Wɔn a wɔfiri Merari abusua mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ ahanu aduonu, a Asaia da wɔn ano.
Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty:
7 Wɔn a wɔfiri Gersom abusua mu no, na wɔn dodoɔ yɛ ɔha ne aduasa, a Yoɛl da wɔn ano.
Of the sons of Gershom; Joel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and thirty:
8 Na Elisafan asefoɔ yɛ ahanu a Semaia da wɔn ano.
Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred:
9 Na Hebron asefoɔ yɛ aduɔwɔtwe a Eliel yɛ wɔn ntuanoni.
Of the sons of Hebron; Eliel the chief, and his brethren eighty:
10 Na Usiel asefoɔ yɛ ɔha ne dumienu a Aminadab yɛ wɔn ntuanoni.
Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve.
11 Afei, Dawid frɛɛ asɔfoɔ Sadok ne Abiatar ne saa Lewifoɔ mpanimfoɔ yi: Uriel, Asaia, Yoɛl, Semaia, Eliel ne Aminadab.
And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,
12 Ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn sɛ, “Mo na moyɛ Lewifoɔ mmusua mu ntuanofoɔ. Mo ne Lewifoɔ a wɔka mo ho nyinaa nnwira mo ho, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, mobɛtumi de Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn, Apam Adaka bɛba beaeɛ a masiesie ama no no.
And said to them, Ye are the heads of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it.
13 Esiane sɛ, kane no, mo Lewifoɔ ansoa Apam Adaka no enti, Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, abufuo sɔre tiaa yɛn. Yɛammisa Onyankopɔn ɛkwan pa a ɛsɛ sɛ yɛfa so soa.”
For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God broke forth upon us, for that we sought him not after the proper way.
14 Enti, asɔfoɔ no ne Lewifoɔ no dwiraa wɔn ho, sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a wɔbɛtumi de Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no akɔ Yerusalem.
So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.
15 Na Lewifoɔ no soaa Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no wɔ wɔn mmati so a, nnua a wɔde soa no hyehyɛ ho pɛpɛɛpɛ, sɛdeɛ Awurade hyɛɛ Mose no.
And the children of the Levites bore the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staffs on it, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.
16 Dawid hyɛɛ Lewifoɔ mpanimfoɔ no nso sɛ, wɔnte Lewifoɔ nnwomtofoɔ kuo, wɔn a wɔnim nnwontoɔ, ne wɔn a wɔwɔ nnwontoɔ ho nimdeɛ na wɔmfa mmɛnta, mmɛn, asankuten ne kyankyan mmɛto anigyeɛ nnwom.
And David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.
17 Na Lewifoɔ no yii Yoɛl babarima Heman, Berekia babarima Asaf ne Kusaia babarima Etan a wɔfiri Merari abusua mu, ma wɔdii nnwomtofoɔ no anim.
So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
18 Wɔyii saa mmarima yi sɛ wɔn aboafoɔ: Sakaria, Ben, Yaasiel, Semiramot, Yehiel, Uni, Eliab, Benaia, Maaseia, Matitia, Elifelehu, Mikneia ne apono ano ahwɛfoɔ Obed-Edom ne Yeiel.
And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.
19 Wɔyii Heman, Asaf ne Etan sɛ wɔmmɔ kɔbere mfrafraeɛ kyankyan no.
So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;
20 Wɔyii Sakaria, Asiel, Semiramot, Yehiel, Uni, Eliab, Maaseia ne Benaia sɛ wɔmmɔ mmɛnta no.
And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;
21 Wɔyii Matitia, Elifelehu, Miknela, Obed-Edom, Yeiel ne Asasia sɛ wɔmmɔ asankuten no.
And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to lead.
22 Wɔyii Kenania a ɔyɛ Lewifoɔ panin no sɛ ɔnna nnwontokuo no ano, ɛsiane ne nimdeɛ enti.
And Chenaniah, leader of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.
23 Wɔyii Berekia ne Elkana sɛ wɔnwɛn Apam Adaka no.
And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
24 Sebania, Yosafat, Netanel, Amasai, Sakaria, Benaia ne Elieser a wɔn nyinaa yɛ asɔfoɔ no na wɔbɛto santen adi Onyankopɔn Apam Adaka no anim, ahyɛn ntotorobɛnto no. Wɔyii Obed-Edom ne Yehia nso sɛ wɔnwɛn Apam Adaka no.
And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
25 Afei, Dawid ne Israel mpanimfoɔ ne akodɔm asahene no de ahokeka a ɛso bi nni kɔɔ Obed-Edom fie sɛ wɔrekɔfa Awurade Apam Adaka no akɔ Yerusalem.
So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obededom with joy.
26 Na ɛsiane sɛ akyinnyeɛ biara nni ho sɛ Awurade ka Lewifoɔ a wɔso Awurade Apam Adaka no ho no enti, wɔde anantwinini nson ne nnwennini nson bɔɔ afɔdeɛ.
And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bulls and seven rams.
27 Wɔhyɛɛ Dawid serekye atadeɛ fɛfɛ bi. Saa ara na Lewifoɔ a wɔsoaa Apam Adaka no, nnwomtofoɔ no ne Kenania a ɔyɛ nnwomtofoɔ kwankyerɛfoɔ no nso yɛeɛ. Na Dawid hyɛ asɔfoɔ ngugusoɔ bi nso.
And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bore the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.
Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.
29 Na ɛberɛ a Awurade Apam Adaka no wuraa Dawid kuro mu no, Saulo babaa Mikal too nʼani hwɛɛ fam, firii ne mpomma mu. Ɛberɛ a ɔhunuu sɛ ɔhene Dawid resa na ɔde anigyeɛ rehurihuri no, ɔbuu no animtiaa nʼakoma mu.
And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
