< Sakaria 4 >
1 Afei ɔbɔfo a ɔne me kasae no san nʼakyi benyan me, sɛnea wonyan obi fi ne nna mu no.
And the angel that spoke with me came back again, and waked me up, as a man that is wakened up out of his sleep;
2 Obisaa me se, “Dɛn na wuhu yi?” Mibuae se, “Mihu kaneadua a wɔde sikakɔkɔɔ ayɛ a kuruwa si so, na akanea ason a biara wɔ ne dorobɛn sisi so.
And he said unto me, What art thou seeing? And I said, I have looked, and behold, there is a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon its top, and its seven lamps are thereupon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon its top:
3 Bio, ngonnua abien sisi ho, baako wɔ kuruwa no nifa so, na baako nso wɔ ne benkum so.”
And two olive-trees are by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.
4 Mibisaa ɔbɔfo a ɔne me kasae no se, “Eyinom yɛ dɛn, me wura?”
And I commenced and said unto the angel that spoke with me, saying, What are these, my lord?
5 Obuae se, “Wunnim nea eyinom yɛ ana?” Mekae se, “Dabi, me wura.”
Then the angel that spoke with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.
6 Enti ɔka kyerɛɛ me se, “Eyi ne Awurade asɛm a ɔde rekɔma Serubabel: ‘Ɛnyɛ tumi so, na ɛnyɛ ahoɔden so, na mmom, ɛnam me Honhom so,’ sɛnea Asafo Awurade se ni.
Then answered he and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
7 “Woyɛ dɛn, bepɔw kɛse ana? Serubabel anim no wobɛyɛ asase tamaa. Afei ɔde abo afɛɛfɛ no bɛba abehyia osebɔ se, ‘Onyankopɔn nhyira so! Onyankopɔn nhyira so!’”
Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou wilt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone with shoutings of, Grace, grace unto it.
8 Na Awurade asɛm baa me nkyɛn se:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
9 “Serubabel nsa na ato asɔredan yi fapem, ne nsa nso na ebewie. Na mubehu sɛ, Asafo Awurade na wasoma me mo nkyɛn.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands shall complete it: and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you.
10 “Hena na obu nneɛma nketenkete mfiaseda animtiaa? Sɛ nnipa hu sɛ Serubabel kura kirebennyɛ susudua no a, wɔn ani begye. “(Saa ani ason yi yɛ Awurade ani a ɛhwɛ wiase mmaa nyinaa.)”
For whoever even despised the day of [its] small beginning: yet will they rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which hold a survey through all the earth.
11 Na mibisaa ɔbɔfo no se, “Saa ngonnua abien no a esisi kaneadua no nifa ne benkum no yɛ dɛn?”
And I began, and said unto him, What are these two olive-trees upon the right side of the candle-stick and upon its left?
12 Na mibisaa no bio se, “Ngodua mman abien a ehwie ngo a ani yɛ akokɔsrade fa sikakɔkɔɔ dorobɛn abien no mu no yɛ dɛn?”
And I began a second time, and said unto him, What are these two olive-branches, which are close by the two golden pipes which empty out of themselves the gold-colored oil?
13 Obuae se, “Enti wunnim nea eyinom yɛ ana?” Mibuae se, “Dabi, me wura.”
And he said to me as followeth, Knowest thou not what these things are? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Nti ɔkae se, “Eyinom ne baanu a wɔasra wɔn ngo sɛ wɔnsom Awurade a odi wiase nyinaa so no.”
Then said he, These are the two sons of the clear oil, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
