< Sakaria 14 >
1 Awurade da bi reba a, wɔbɛkyɛ mo asade wɔ mo mu.
A day is coming for the Lord, when your plundered possessions will be divided while you watch.
2 Mɛboaboa aman no nyinaa ano abɛko atia Yerusalem; wɔbɛko afa kuropɔn no, wobewia afi mu nneɛma, na wɔato mmea no mmonnaa. Wɔbɛfa kuropɔn no mu nnipa no mu fa akɔ nnommum mu, nanso nkae no bɛka kuropɔn no mu.
And all the nations will gather to Jerusalem, to fight against it. The city will be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped. Half of the city will go into captivity, and the rest of the people left in the ruins.
3 Afei, Awurade bɛkɔ akɔko atia saa aman no, sɛnea ɔko, ɔkoda no.
Then the Lord will go forth and fight against these nations, as once he fought in the day of battle.
4 Saa da no, ɔde nʼanammɔn besisi Ngo Bepɔw a ɛwɔ Yerusalem apuei fam no so, na Ngo Bepɔw no mu bɛpae abien afi apuei fam akosi atɔe fam na ayɛ obon kɛse. Ɛbɛma bepɔw no fa akɔ atifi fam, na fa nso akɔ anafo fam.
On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, (which is opposite Jerusalem, on the east). The Mount of Olives will be split into halves, from east to west, by an exceedingly great valley; and half of the mountain will slide northwards and half southwards.
5 Mubeguan afa me bon no mu, efisɛ ekosi Asel. Mubeguan, sɛnea moyɛɛ no bere a asase wosow wɔ Yudahene Usia bere so no. Afei, Awurade, me Nyankopɔn, bɛba a ahotefo nyinaa ka ne ho.
You will escape through my valley – the valley between the hills will extend as far as Azel, and you will flee as you fled from before the earthquake, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. But the Lord your God will come, and all the holy ones with him.
6 Saa da no, hann, awɔw ne sukyerɛmma remma.
And in that day, there will be no heat nor cold nor frost,
7 Ɛbɛyɛ da sononko a enni awia anaa anadwo, da a Awurade na onim. Onwini bedwo no na hann wɔ hɔ.
but it will be constant day – it is known to the Lord – with neither day nor night. Even at evening time there will be light.
8 Saa da no, nkwa nsu bɛteɛ afi Yerusalem, fa bɛkɔ apuei po mu, na fa akɔ atɔe po mu, ahohurubere ne awɔwbere mu.
And on that day living waters will flow from Jerusalem, half of them to the eastern sea and half of them to the western sea; in both summer and winter.
9 Awurade bedi hene wɔ asase nyinaa so. Saa da no, Awurade bɛyɛ baako na ne din nso ayɛ baako pɛ.
The Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one, and his name one.
10 Asase a efi Geba kosi Rimon a ɛda Yerusalem anafo fam nyinaa bɛyɛ sɛ Araba. Nanso wɔbɛma Yerusalem so; efi Benyamin Pon kosi Ɔpon A Edi Kan de kɔ Ntwea so Pon, afei efi Hananel Abantenten kosi adehye nsakyiamoa nyinaa, na ɛbɛtena ne sibea.
The land will be changed to plain, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, but Jerusalem will be high and inhabited as it stands, from the Benjamin Gate up to the place of the first gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate, and as far as the king’s winepresses.
11 Nnipa bɛtena mu, na wɔrensɛe no bio. Yerusalem benya asomdwoe.
Jerusalem will be inhabited, for never again will it be doomed to destruction, and its people will abide in security.
12 Eyi ne ɔyaredɔm a Awurade de bɛbɔ aman a wɔko tiaa Yerusalem no. Wɔn honam bɛporɔw bere a wogyina wɔn anan so, Wɔn aniwa nkesua bɛporɔw wɔ wɔn ntokuru mu, na wɔn tɛkrɛma bɛporɔw wɔ wɔn anom.
This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who array themselves against Jerusalem: he will make their flesh rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouth.
13 Saa da no, Awurade bɛma nnipa abɔ huboa, na wobetwa wɔn ho ako.
On that day a great panic sent by the Lord will fall on them. Everyone will seize their neighbours and attack them.
14 Yuda nso bɛko wɔ Yerusalem. Wɔbɛfa aman a atwa ahyia hɔ no nyinaa ahonyade a ɛyɛ sikakɔkɔɔ, dwetɛ ne adurade bebree.
Even Judah will fight at Jerusalem, and the wealth of the surrounding nations will be gathered up – gold and silver and piles of clothing.
15 Saa ɔyaredɔm koro yi ara bɛka apɔnkɔ, mfurumpɔnkɔ, yoma, mfurum ne mmoa a aka a wɔwɔ atamfo nsra mu nyinaa.
Plague will fall upon the horses, mules, camels, and asses, and on all the animals in all those camps.
16 Afei wɔn a wɔbɛka wɔ aman a wɔko tiaa Yerusalem no nyinaa bɛkɔ akɔsom Ɔhene no, Asafo Awurade no afe biara, na wɔadi Asese Afahyɛ no.
All who are left of all the nations which fought against Jerusalem will come up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the pilgrim-feast of tabernacles.
17 Sɛ wiase mu nnipa bi ankɔ Yerusalem ankɔsom Ɔhene no, Asafo Awurade no a, osu rentɔ mma wɔn.
Whoever of all the peoples of the earth will not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.
18 Sɛ Misraimfo ankɔ hɔ ankɔhyɛ fa no bi a, osu rentɔ mma wɔn. Awurade de ɔyaredɔm a ɔma ɛba aman a wɔnnkɔ Asese Afahyɛ no so no bɛbɔ wɔn.
If the family of Egypt does not go up nor enter in, on them also will come the plague with which the Lord will strike the nations.
19 Eyi bɛyɛ asotwe ama Misraim ne aman a wɔnnkɔ Asese Afahyɛ no nyinaa.
This will be the punishment for the sin of Egypt and the punishment for the sin of all nations which do not come up to keep the feast of the tabernacles.
20 Saa da no, wobekurukyerɛw asɛm a ɛka se: KRONKRON MA Awurade wɔ nnɔnnɔmma a ɛsensɛn apɔnkɔ kɔn mu ho, na nkuku a wɔde noa aduan wɔ Awurade fi no bɛyɛ sɛ nkuruwa kronkron a esisi afɔremuka anim.
On that day there will be inscribed upon the bells of the horses, ‘Holy to the Lord’ and the pots in the house of the Lord will be as holy as the sacrificial bowls before the altars.
Every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of hosts and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and cook the sacrifices in them. There will be no more traffickers in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day.
