< Sakaria 11 >

1 Buebue wʼapon, Lebanon, na ogya mmɛhyew wo sida!
Open your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars.
2 Twa adwo, wo ɔpepaw, na sida ahwe ase; wɔasɛe nnua a ɛwɔ anuonyam no! Twa adwo Basan adum; wɔabubu kwaeberentuw no mu nnua no!
Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O you oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.
3 Tie nguanhwɛfo agyaadwo; wɔasɛe wɔn adidibea frɔmfrɔm no! Tie gyata no mmubomu; Yordan ho nkyɛkyerɛ fɛɛfɛ no asɛe!
There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
4 Sɛɛ na Awurade me Nyankopɔn se: “Fa nguankuw a wɔrebekum wɔn no kɔ adidibea.
Thus says the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;
5 Atɔfo no kunkum nguan no na wɔntwe wɔn aso. Wɔn a wɔtɔn nguan no ka se, ‘Monkamfo Awurade, mayɛ ɔdefo!’ Na nguan no ahwɛfo no mpo nnya ahummɔbɔ mma wɔn.
Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.
6 Merenhu asase no so nnipa mmɔbɔ bio,” sɛnea Awurade se ni. “Mede obiara bɛhyɛ ne yɔnko ne hene nsa. Wɔbɛhyɛ asase no so, na merennye obiara mfi wɔn nsam.”
For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD: but, see, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbor’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.
7 Enti mede nguankuw a wɔrekokum wɔn no kɔɔ adidibea, ne titiriw ne wɔn a wɔayɛ mmɔbɔ no. Afei mefaa pema abien, na mefrɛɛ baako Adɔe na baako nso Nkabom na mede wɔn kɔɔ adidi.
And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took to me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.
8 Ɔsram baako mu, mepam nguanhwɛfo abiɛsa no. Nguankuw no ampɛ me, na wɔmaa me brɛe
Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.
9 na mekae se, “Merenyɛ mo hwɛfo bio. Wɔn a wɔrewu nwu, na wɔn a wɔreyera nso nyera. Na ma wɔn a aka no nso nkyekyere wɔn ho wɔn ho nwe.”
Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dies, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.
10 Afei mefaa me pema a mefrɛ no Adɔe no bubuu mu de sɛee apam a me ne aman no nyinaa ayɛ no.
And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.
11 Wɔsɛee no da no ara, na wɔn a wɔrehu amane wɔ nguankuw no mu a na wɔrehwɛ me no hui se, ɛyɛ Awurade asɛm.
And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited on me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
12 Na meka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Sɛ ɛbɛyɛ yiye a muntua me ka, na sɛ ɛnte saa nso a, momma ɛntena hɔ.” Enti, wotuaa dwetɛ mpɔw aduasa maa me.
And I said to them, If you think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
13 Na Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me se, “Tow ma ɔnwemfo no,” ɛbo a ɛsɔ ani a wɔatwa ama me no. Enti, mefaa dwetɛ mpɔw aduasa no, na metow maa ɔnwemfo a ɔwɔ Awurade fi mu no.
And the LORD said to me, Cast it to the potter: a goodly price that I was priced at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
14 Afei mibuu me pema a ɛto so abien a wɔfrɛ no Nkabom no mu, de sɛee onuayɛ a ɛda Yuda ne Israel ntam no.
Then I cut asunder my other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 Afei, Awurade ka kyerɛɛ me se, “Fa oguanhwɛfo kwasea no nneɛma no bio.
And the LORD said to me, Take to you yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 Na merebɛma oguanhwɛfo bi asɔre asase no so a ɔrenhwehwɛ nea wayera, ɔrenhwehwɛ nguantenmma no akyi kwan, ɔrensa nea wapira yare, ɔremma nea ɔwɔ ahoɔden aduan, na mmom, ɔbɛwe nguan a wɔadɔ no nam, na watwitwa wɔn tɔte.
For, see, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that stands still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.
17 “Nnome nka oguanhwɛfo a ne so nni mfaso, na oguan gya nguankuw no! Afoa ntwa ne basa, ne nʼaniwa nifa. Ne basa no nwu koraa, nʼaniwa nifa no mfura koraa!”
Woe to the idol shepherd that leaves the flock! the sword shall be on his arm, and on his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
