< Sakaria 10 >
1 Mummisa Awurade hɔ nsu asusowbere mu; ɛyɛ Awurade na ɔyɛ osu ne mu ahum. Ɔma osu tɔ ma nnipa nyinaa, ne nnɔbae nso ma obiara.
Ask of the LORD rain in the spring time, the LORD who makes storm clouds, and he gives rain showers to everyone for the plants in the field.
2 Ahoni no ka nnaadaasɛm, nkɔmhyɛfo nya anisoadehu a ɛyɛ atoro; wɔde nkontomposɛm kyerɛ dae ase, wɔma awerɛkyekye kwa. Enti nnipa no nenam te sɛ nguan a wonni ɔhwɛfo na wɔhyɛ wɔn so.
For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie; and they have told false dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are oppressed, because there is no shepherd.
3 “Me bo afuw nguanhwɛfo no yiye, na mɛtwe ntuanofo no aso. Na Asafo Awurade bɛhwɛ ne nguankuw a wɔyɛ Yudafi no, na wayɛ wɔn sɛ anuonyam pɔnkɔ wɔ ɔsa mu.
My anger is kindled against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats, for the LORD of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah, and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.
4 Tweatibo befi Yuda mu, na ntamadan pɛe befi ne mu, ɔsa mu tadua befi Yuda mu, na sodifo nyinaa nso saa ara.
From him will come the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle bow, from him every ruler together.
5 Wɔbɛbɔ mu ayɛ sɛ dɔmmarima a wotiatia mmorɔn so dontori mu wɔ ɔko mu. Esiane sɛ Awurade ka wɔn ho no nti, wɔbɛko na wɔadi apɔnkɔsotefo no so.
They will be as mighty men, treading down muddy streets in the battle. They will fight, because the LORD is with them. The riders on horses will be confounded.
6 “Mɛhyɛ Yudafi den na magye Yosefi no nkwa. Mede wɔn besi wɔn dedaw mu efisɛ me yam hyehye me wɔ wɔn ho. Wɔbɛyɛ te sɛ nea mempoo wɔn mpo, na mene Awurade wɔn Nyankopɔn, na megye wɔn so.
“I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph. I will bring them back, for I have mercy on them. They will be as though I had not cast them off, for I am the LORD their God, and I will hear them.
7 Efraimfo bɛyɛ sɛ dɔmmarima, wɔn ani begye te sɛ nea wɔanom nsa. Wɔn mma behu na wɔn ani begye; wobedi ahurusi wɔ wɔn koma mu wɔ Awurade mu.
Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as through wine. Yes, their children will see it and rejoice. Their heart will be glad in the LORD.
8 Mɛto nsa afrɛ wɔn aboaboa wɔn ano. Ampa ara megye wɔn bio; wɔbɛdɔɔso sɛ kan no.
I will signal for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. They will increase as they were before.
9 Ɛwɔ mu, mɛhwete wɔn mu akɔ aman so, nanso wɔbɛkae me wɔ akyirikyiri nsase so. Wɔne wɔn mma bɛtena nkwa mu, na wɔbɛsan aba.
I will sow them amongst the peoples. They will remember me in far countries. They will live with their children and will return.
10 Mede wɔn befi Misraim aba mɛboa wɔn ano afi Asiria. Mede wɔn bɛba Gilead ne Lebanon, na wɔrensen hɔ.
I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and there won’t be room enough for them.
11 Wɔbɛfa ɔhaw ne abɛbrɛsɛ po mu, nanso wobedi po asorɔkye a ehuru no so. Nil mu nsu nyinaa bɛyow. Asiria ahomaso nso wɔbɛbrɛ no ase na Misraim ahempema betwa mu akɔ.
He will pass through the sea of affliction, and will strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile will dry up; and the pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt will depart.
12 Mɛhyɛ wɔn den wɔ Awurade mu na ne din mu na wɔbɛnantew,” sɛnea Awurade se ni.
I will strengthen them in the LORD. They will walk up and down in his name,” says the LORD.
