< Tito 3 >

1 Kae wo nkurɔfo na wɔmmrɛ wɔn ho ase nhyɛ ahemfo ne wɔn a tumi hyɛ wɔn nsa no ase, wɔnyɛ osetie, wonsiesie wɔn ho mma adwuma pa biara,
And admonish them to be submissive and obedient to princes and potentates; and that they be ready for every good work;
2 na wɔnnka asɛmmɔne mmfa obi ho na mmom, wonnwo brɛoo, na daa wonni obiara ni.
and that they speak ill of no man; that they be not contentious, but mild; and that in every thing they manifest benignity towards all men.
3 Kan no, na yɛn ankasa yɛyɛ nkwaseafo, asoɔdenfo, ne abɔnefo. Na yɛyɛ akɔnnɔ ne anigye ahorow nkoa. Yɛsɛee yɛn abrabɔ wɔ bɔne ne anibere ho. Afoforo tan yɛn maa yɛn nso yɛtan wɔn.
For we also were formerly reckless, and disobedient, and erring, and serving divers lusts, and living in malice and envy, and were hateful and also hating one another.
4 Nanso bere a yɛn Agyenkwa Onyankopɔn ayamye ne ne dɔ daa adi no,
But when the kindness and compassion of God our Life-giver was revealed,
5 ogyee yɛn nkwa. Ɛnyɛ nnwuma pa bi a yɛayɛ nti, na mmom ɔnam nʼahummɔbɔ so ahohoro yɛn ho, agye yɛn nkwa ama Honhom Kronkron no awo yɛn foforo ama yɛn nkwa foforo.
not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his mercy, he vivified us, by the washing of the new birth, and by the renovation of the Holy Spirit,
6 Onyankopɔn nam Yesu Kristo a ɔyɛ yɛn Agyenkwa no so ahwie Honhom Kronkron no agu yɛn so,
which he shed on us abundantly, by Jesus the Messiah our Life-giver:
7 sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nʼadom nti, yɛbɛyɛ daa nkwa no anidaso ho adedifo. (aiōnios g166)
that we might be justified by his grace, and become heirs in the hope of eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
8 Eyi yɛ nokwasɛm. Mepɛ sɛ wuti saa asɛm yi mu yiye na ama wɔn a wogye Onyankopɔn di no ahu sɛ, ɛsɛ sɛ wɔde wɔn bere di dwuma pa. Eyinom nyinaa ye na so wɔ mfaso ma nnipa.
Faithful is the word: and in these things, I would have thee also establish them; so that they, who have believed in God, may be careful to cultivate good works: these are the things, which are good, and profitable to men.
9 Nanso munnnye nkwasea akyinnye. Saa ara nso na monnto ana, nkasakasa, nham wɔ mmara ho; so nni mfaso biara.
But foolish questions, and stories of genealogies, and the disputes and contests of the scribes, avoid: for there is no profit in them, and they are vain.
10 Bɔ obi a ɔde mpaapaemu ba no kɔkɔ nea edi kan ne ne nea ɛto so abien, na ɛno akyi no twe wo ho fi ne ho.
An heretical man, after thou hast instructed him once and again, avoid:
11 Ɛsɛ sɛ wuhu sɛ obi a ɔte saa no asɛe, na bɔne a ɔyɛ no da adi wɔ ne ho.
and know thou, that such a man is perverse, and sinful, and self-condemned.
12 Sɛ mesoma Artema anaa Tihiko wo nkyɛn a, bɔ mmɔden bra me nkyɛn wɔ Nikopoli, na hɔ na mabɔ me tirim sɛ mɛtena awɔwbere no.
When I shall send Artemas to thee, or Tychicus, strive thou to come to me at Nicopolis; for I have purposed to winter there.
13 Bɔ mmɔden gya mmaranimfo Sena ne Apolo kwan yiye na anhia wɔn hwee.
As for Zenas the scribe, and Apollos, endeavor to help them well on their way, that they may want nothing.
14 Ma yɛn nkurɔfo no nsua sɛnea wɔde wɔn adagyew yɛ nnwuma pa de boa. Ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔtena ase kwa.
And let our people learn also to perform good works, on occasions of emergency, that they may not be unfruitful.
15 Wɔn a wɔne me wɔ ha nyinaa kyiakyia wo. Kyia wɔn a wɔdɔ yɛn wɔ gyidi mu ma yɛn. Adom nka mo nyinaa.
All they that are with me salute thee. Salute all them who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.
