< Tito 2 >

1 Ɛsɛ sɛ woma nkyerɛkyerɛ pa a wɔagye ato mu.
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 Ka kyerɛ nkwakoraa na wɔmma wɔn ani nna hɔ, wɔnyɛ anyansafo, na wɔnhyɛ wɔn ho so; wɔn gyidi mu nyɛ den, wonnya ɔdɔ na wontumi ntena ɔhaw mu.
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 Saa ara nso na ka kyerɛ mmerewa na wɔmmɔ ɔbra a ɛyɛ kronkron. Wonnni nseku na wɔnnyɛ asadweam nso. Wɔnkyerɛ akyerɛ pa,
The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a wɔnam so betumi ama mmabaa adɔ wɔn kununom ne wɔn mma,
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 ama wɔatumi ahyɛ wɔn ho so, ayɛ kronkron na wɔayɛ awarefo pa a wotie wɔn kununom asɛm, na obi anka bɔne amfa Onyankopɔn asɛm no ho.
[To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 Saa ara na hyɛ mmerante na wonnya ahohyɛso.
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 Nneɛma nyinaa mu no, fa wo ho yɛ nhwɛso pa wɔ nnwuma payɛ mu. Di nokware na ma wʼani nku wo nkyerɛkyerɛ ho.
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Ka nsɛm a ho tew na obi antumi antia mu na ama atamfo ani awu sɛ wonnya asɛm bɔne nka mfa yɛn ho.
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 Ɛsɛ sɛ asomfo tie wɔn wuranom, na ade nyinaa mu no, wɔsɔ wɔn wuranom ani. Ɛnsɛ sɛ woyiyi nsɛm ano
[Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again;
10 anaa wɔbɔ wɔn korɔn. Ɛsɛ sɛ wɔyɛ papa mmere nyinaa na wodi nokware na anam so ama biribiara a wɔyɛ no de anuonyamhyɛ aba nkyerɛkyerɛ a ɛfa Onyankopɔn a ɔyɛ yɛn Agyenkwa no ho no.
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Onyankopɔn adom a ɛde nkwagye ba no ayi no ho adi akyerɛ nnipa nyinaa.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Nʼadom no kyerɛ yɛn sɛ, yɛmpa asetena a ɛho ntew no ne wiase akɔnnɔ akyi na yɛntena ase ahohyɛso, kronkronyɛ ne Onyamesuro mu wɔ wiase ha. (aiōn g165)
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn g165)
13 Yɛwɔ anidaso wɔ bere a yɛretwɛn Onyankopɔn tumfo a ɔne Agyenkwa Yesu Kristo no ba a ɔbɛba bio wɔ anuonyam mu no.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Ɔde ne ho maa yɛn de gyee yɛn fii bɔne mu, ɔyɛɛ yɛn nnipa a yɛpɛ papayɛ no kronkron de yɛn yɛɛ ne nko ara de.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 Kyerɛkyerɛ saa nneɛma yi na gyina wo tumi so hyɛ wʼatiefo nkuran, ka wɔn anim. Mma wɔn mu bi mmmu wo abomfiaa.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
