< Romafo 2 >
1 Mo a mubu afoforo atɛn no, munni anoyi biara. Ɔkwan biara a mobɛfa so abu afoforo atɛn no, ɛnam saa ɔkwan no ara so ma mode atemmu ba mo ho so. Efisɛ bɔne a ɛma mubu afoforo atɛn no, mo nso moyɛ saa bɔne koro no ara bi.
Now then, you there, whoever you are who judges someone else for things you practice yourself—you condemn yourself and are inexcusable.
2 Yenim sɛ, sɛ Onyankopɔn bu wɔn a wɔte saa ara no atɛn a na ne kwan so ara ne no.
Further, we know that God's judgment against those who practice such things is according to truth.
3 Na wo, onipa, wubu afoforo atɛn wɔ nneɛma koro no ara a woyɛ bi no ho a, wususuw sɛ Onyankopɔn remmu wo atɛn ana?
So then, you there, you who judge those who practice such things while doing the same, do you really imagine that you will escape God's judgment?
4 Anaasɛ, ebia wummu nʼayamye, nʼabodwokyɛre ne ne boasetɔ? Wunnim sɛ Onyankopɔn yɛ mmɔborɔhunufo a ɔpɛ sɛ ɔkyerɛ wo ɔkwan a wobɛfa so anu wo ho?
Or do you scorn the riches of His kindness, tolerance and longsuffering, not recognizing that the goodness of God is leading you toward repentance?
5 Nanso esiane wo komaden ne komapirim nti, woboaboa abufuwhyew ano ma wo ho wɔ Onyankopɔn abufuwhyew da no, da no a ɔbɛda nʼatɛntrenee adi no.
Rather, due to your hardness and unrepentant heart, you are treasuring up wrath for yourself in the day of God's wrath and revelation and righteous judgment,
6 Nea obiara ayɛ no so akatua na Onyankopɔn bɛma no anya.
who will repay each one according to his works:
7 Wɔn a wɔde boasetɔ yɛ papa de hwehwɛ anuonyam, nidi ne nea ɛmporɔw no, ɔbɛma wɔn nkwa a enni awiei. (aiōnios )
to those who seek for glory, honor and incorruption, by persevering in doing good—eternal life; (aiōnios )
8 Nanso wɔn a wɔyɛ pɛsɛmenkominya ne wɔn a wɔpo nokware no kodi bɔne akyi no, abufuwhyew ne amanehunu bɛba wɔn so.
but to those who, due to self-seeking, are actually disobeying the truth (while obeying the unrighteousness)—fury and wrath,
9 Yudafo ne amanamanmufo a wɔkɔ so yɛ bɔne no nyinaa behu amane na wɔn werɛ nso bɛhow.

10 Nanso wɔn a wotie no no, sɛ wɔyɛ Yudafo anaa amanamanmufo no, wobenya anuonyam, nidi ne asomdwoe afi Onyankopɔn nkyɛn.
but glory, honor and peace to everyone who works the good, whether Jew (first) or Greek.
11 Onyankopɔn nyɛ nyiyimu na ɔnyɛ nhwɛanim nso wɔ nʼatemmu mu.
Now there is no favoritism with God.
12 Wɔn a wonnim mmara no na wɔyɛ bɔne no, wɔbɛkwati mmara no abu wɔn atɛn ara, na wɔn a wonim mmara no na wɔyɛ bɔne no, wɔnam mmara no so bebu wɔn atɛn.
For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law; while as many as have sinned with law will be judged by law.
13 Ɛnyɛ mmaratiefo na wɔteɛ wɔ Onyankopɔn anim, na mmom ɛyɛ wɔn a wɔyɛ osetie ma mmara no na wobebu wɔn bem.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified
14 Amanamanmufo no nni mmara, nanso wofi wɔn awosu mu yɛ nea mmara no hwehwɛ sɛ wɔyɛ a, ɛwɔ mu sɛ wonni mmara de, nanso eyinom bɛyɛ mmara ama wɔn.
(indeed, whenever the ethnic nations that do not have law do by nature the things of the law, these, although not having law, are a law to themselves;
15 Esiane sɛ wɔn abrabɔ kyerɛ sɛ, nea mmara no hwehwɛ no, wɔakyerɛw wɔ wɔn koma mu no nti, wɔn ahonim di adanse sɛ wodi bem anaasɛ wɔabu wɔn fɔ.
who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their reasonings among themselves accusing or even excusing)
16 Enti asɛmpa a meka no kyerɛ sɛ, sɛ da no du a, saa na Onyankopɔn nam Yesu Kristo so bebu nnipa kokoamsɛm ho atɛn.
in the day when God, according to my Gospel, will judge people's secrets by Jesus Christ.
Look, you declare yourself a Jew, and rest on the Law, and boast in God,
18 Munim nea Onyankopɔn hwehwɛ sɛ moyɛ. Moasua afi Mmara no mu ahu nea eye.
and know the Will, and approve the superior things, being instructed out of the Law.
19 Mofa mo ho sɛ moyɛ akwankyerɛfo ma anifuraefo, na moyɛ hann nso ma wɔn a wɔte sum mu.
Further, you are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those in darkness,
20 Mugye di sɛ mubetumi akyerɛ adwenharefo ne mmofra Onyankopɔn akwan, efisɛ munim ne mmara a osuahu ne nokware ahyɛ no ma no.
an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of the immature, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and truth.
21 Mokyerɛkyerɛ afoforo. Na adɛn nti na muntumi nkyerɛkyerɛ mo ho mo ho? Moka kyerɛ afoforo se wɔmmmɔ korɔn. Mo nso mobɔ korɔn ana?
You then, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach not to steal, do you steal?
22 Mo a moka se aguamammɔ nye. Mo nso mobɔ aguaman ana? Mo a moka se mukyi ahoni no, mobɔ korɔn wɔ hyiadan mu ana?
You who say not to commit adultery, do you adulterate? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
23 Mo a mohoahoa mo ho wɔ mmara no mu no, monam mmara no so bu so bu Onyankopɔn animtiaa ana?
You who boast in the Law, do you dishonor God through the transgression of the Law?
24 Ɛnyɛ nwonwa sɛ Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se mo nti wiasefo kasa tia Onyankopɔn.
For, just as it is written: “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”
25 Sɛ woyɛ Yudani na wudi Onyankopɔn mmara no so a, ɛyɛ ade a ɛsom bo. Na sɛ moanni so a, nsonoe biara nni mo ne momonotofo ntam.
Now circumcision does have value if you keep the Law, but if you are a transgressor of the Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
26 Sɛ momonotofo di Onyankopɔn mmara so a, wɔremmu wɔn sɛ Onyankopɔn nkurɔfo ana?
So if the uncircumcised keeps the righteous requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?
27 Enti momonotoni a odi mmara no so no bɛkasa atia mo, Yudafo a munim Onyankopɔn mmara a wɔakyerɛw no, nanso munni so no.
And will not the physically uncircumcised who fulfills the law judge you, complete with written code and circumcision, who are a transgressor of the Law?
28 Fa a wɔde mo afa Yudasom mu atwa mo twetia, anaasɛ Yudafo na wɔwoo mo no nkyerɛ sɛ moyɛ Yudafo kann.
Because a person is not a [true] Jew who is only one outwardly, nor is [true] circumcision something outward in the flesh;
29 Yudani kann no ne nea ɔyɛ no wɔ ne mu. Ɛnyɛ ɔhonam mu twetiatwa ne twetiatwa turodoo, na mmom koma mu nsakrae a efi Onyankopɔn Honhom mu ba no. Nsakrae yi mfi di a obi di mmara bi a wɔakyerɛw mu. Saa onipa no ayeyi mfi nnipa afoforo bi, na mmom, efi Onyankopɔn.
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart—in spirit, not letter—whose praise is not from men but from God.
