< Adiyisɛm 21 >
1 Afei mihuu ɔsoro foforo ne asase foforo, na kan ɔsoro ne kan asase no atwa mu, na po nso nni hɔ bio.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away: and the sea was no more.
And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven, from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 Metee nne dennen bi fi ahengua no so se, “Afei, Onyankopɔn atenae wɔ nnipa mu. Ɔne wɔn bɛtena na wɔayɛ ne nkurɔfo. Onyankopɔn no ankasa ne wɔn bɛtena na wayɛ wɔn Nyankopɔn.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them: and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them, their God.
4 Na ɔbɛpepa wɔn aniwa mu nusu nyinaa. Na owu nni hɔ bio, na awerɛhow ne osu ne yaw nni hɔ bio. Na kan nneɛma no atwa mu.”
And he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death; neither shall there be any more sorrow, nor crying, nor pain; for the former things have passed away.
5 Afei nea ɔte ahengua no so no kae se, “Afei mereyɛ nneɛma nyinaa foforo!” Ɔka kyerɛɛ me nso se, “Kyerɛw eyi, efisɛ saa nsɛm yi yɛ nokware a wɔde wɔn ho to so.”
And he that sat upon the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are true and faithful.
6 Na ɔka kyerɛɛ me se, “Wɔawie! Me ne Alfa ne Omega, Mfiase ne Awiei no. Obiara a osukɔm de no no, mɛma no nsu a efi nkwa asuti mu anom kwa.
And he said to me: It is done; I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him that thirsts, I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 Obiara a obedi nkonim no benya eyi afi me nkyɛn. Mɛyɛ ne Nyankopɔn na ɔno nso ayɛ me ba.
He that overcomes, shall inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 Nanso ahufo ne wɔn a wonnye nni ne akyiwadeyɛfo ne awudifo ne nguamanfo ne asumanfo ne abosonsomfo ne atorofo nyinaa benya wɔn kyɛfa wɔ ɔtare a ogya ne sufre dɛw wɔ mu no mu. Ɛno ne owuprenu no.” (Limnē Pyr )
But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the detestable, and murderers and lewd persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. (Limnē Pyr )
9 Abɔfo baason a wokurakura nkuruwa ason a ɔhaw ason a etwa to no ahyɛ ma wɔ mu baako baa me nkyɛn bɛkae se, “Bra, na mɛkyerɛ wo Ayeforo a ɔyɛ Oguamma no yere no.”
And there came one of the seven angels that had the seven cups full of the seven last plagues; and he talked with me, saying: Come hither, and I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 Honhom no faa me, na ɔbɔfo no de me kɔɔ bepɔw tenten bi atifi. Ɔkyerɛɛ me Yerusalem, Kurow Kronkron a efi ɔsoro, Onyankopɔn hɔ, resian aba fam.
And he carried me away in spirit to a mountain, great and high, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 Ɛhyerɛn Onyankopɔn anuonyam mu, na ne hyerɛn no te sɛ aboɔdemmo a ɛsɛ ahwehwɛbo a ani tew sɛ ahwehwɛ.
having the glory of God: that which gave it light was like a most costly stone, like jasper-stone, brilliant as crystal.
12 Na ne fasu no wɔ ahoɔden na ɛware yiye nso. Apon dumien gu ano a, abɔfo dumien na wɔhwɛ so. Na ɔpon biara so no wɔakyerɛw Israel mmusuakuw dumien no mu baako din.
It had a wall, great and high; and it had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel;
13 Apon abiɛsa wɔ apuei; abiɛsa wɔ anafo; abiɛsa wɔ atifi na abiɛsa wɔ atɔe.
on the east, three gates; on the north, three gates; on the south, three gates; and on the west, three gates.
14 Wosii kurow no afasu sii abo dumien a wɔakyerɛw Oguamma no asomafo dumien no din wɔ so no so.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 Ɔbɔfo a ɔkasa kyerɛɛ me no kura sikakɔkɔɔ pema susudua a wɔde besusuw kurow no, nʼapon ne nʼafasu.
And he that talked with me had a measure, a golden reed, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
16 Na kurow no yɛ ahinanan a ne tenten ne ne trɛw yɛ pɛ. Ɔbɔfo no de ne susudua no susuw kurow no. Na ne tenten yɛ kilomita mpem abien ne ahannan, na ne trɛw, ne sorokɔ ne ne tenten nyinaa yɛ pɛ.
And the city lies square: and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length, and the breadth, and the hight of it are equal.
17 Ɔbɔfo no susuw ɔfasu no nso a na ne sorokɔ nso bɛyɛ sɛ mita aduosia.
And he measured the wall of it, a hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
18 Ahwehwɛbo na ɔde too afasu no. Na kurow no de, sikakɔkɔɔ ankasa a ɛhyerɛn te sɛ ahwehwɛ na wɔde toe.
And the wall of it was built of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
19 Wɔde aboɔdemmo ahorow a ɛyɛ fɛ na ɛhyehyɛɛ kurow no fapem. Fapem a edi kan yɛ ahwehwɛbo. Fapem a ɛto so abien yɛ hoabo. Fapem a ɛto so abiɛsa yɛ omununkumbo. Fapem a ɛto so anan yɛ ahabammono bo.
And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every costly stone: the first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald;
20 Fapem a ɛto so anum yɛ ɛtɔnbo. Fapem a ɛto so asia yɛ bogyanambo. Fapem a ɛto so ason yɛ sikabereɛbo. Fapem a ɛto so awotwe yɛ apopobibiribo. Fapem a ɛto so akron yɛ akraatebo. Fapem a ɛto so du yɛ dɛnkyɛmmo. Fapem a ɛto so dubaako yɛ wusiwbo. Fapem a ɛto so dumien yɛ beredumbo.
the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, crysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, hyacinth; the twelfth, amethyst.
21 Na wɔde nhene pa dumien na ɛyɛɛ apon dumien no. Wɔde ahene pa baako na ɛyɛɛ apon no mu biara. Na kurow no abɔntenkɛse no yɛ sika ankasa, kurunnyenn sɛ ahwehwɛ.
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, like clear glass.
22 Na manhu asɔredan wɔ kurow no baabiara mu, efisɛ Awurade Nyankopɔn Tumfo ne Oguamma no ne asɔredan.
And I saw no temple in it: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are its temple.
23 Na owia anaa ɔsram hann nhia kurow no, efisɛ na Onyankopɔn ne Oguamma no anuonyam hyerɛn wɔ hɔ.
And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God gave it light, and the lamp of it is the Lamb.
24 Ne hann no bɛhyerɛn asase so aman nyinaa so, na asase so aman so ahene de wɔn ahode bɛba hɔ.
And the nations shall walk by the light of it; and the kings of the earth bring their glory and their honor into it.
25 Wɔntoto kurow no apon mu. Da biara ano da hɔ. Efisɛ sum nnuru wɔ hɔ.
And its gates shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 Wɔde aman no kɛseyɛ ne wɔn ahonya bɛba kurow no mu.
And they shall bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
27 Nanso biribiara a ɛho ntew nkɔ kurow no mu. Saa ara na obi a ɔyɛ aniwude anaa otwa atoro nkɔ mu. Wɔn a wɔakyerɛw wɔn din ahyɛ Oguamma no nkwa nhoma no mu no nko ara na wɔbɛkɔ kurow no mu.
And there shall not enter it any thing unclean, or that does what is detestable, or that makes a lie: but those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
