< Adiyisɛm 20 >
1 Afei mihuu ɔbɔfo bi sɛ ofi ɔsoro reba fam a na okura bun no safe ne nkɔnsɔnkɔnsɔn kɛse bi. (Abyssos )
Then I saw an angel coming down from Heaven, with the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. (Abyssos )
2 Ɔkyeree ɔwɔ kɛse dedaw a ɔyɛ ɔbonsam no kyekyeree no mfe apem.
He seized the Dragon, the primeval Serpent (who is the ‘Devil’ or ‘Satan’), and bound him in chains for a thousand years.
3 Ɔbɔfo no tow no kyenee bun no mu, too mu safe sɔw ano sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a mfe apem no betwa mu. Ɛno akyi na wobegyaa no kakra. (Abyssos )
He flung him into the bottomless pit and locked it, and set his seal upon it; that he should not deceive the nations any more, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be let loose for a while. (Abyssos )
4 Afei mihuu nhengua ne wɔn a wɔtete so a wɔama wɔn tumi sɛ wommu atɛn. Afei mihuu wɔn a esiane sɛ wɔada nokware ne Onyankopɔn asɛm a Yesu kae no adi nti, wɔatwitwa wɔn ti no akra. Wɔansom aboa no ne ne honi no. Saa ara nso na wɔamfa aboa no agyiraehyɛde ankeka wɔn moma so ne wɔn nsa ho. Wɔbaa nkwa mu ne Kristo bedii ahene mfe apem.
Then I saw thrones, and to those who took their seats upon them authority was given to act as judges. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony to Jesus and because of the Message of God, for they had refused to worship the Beast or its image, and had not received the brand on their foreheads and on their hands. They were restored to life, and they reigned with the Christ for a thousand years.
5 Eyi ne awufosɔre a edi kan. Awufo a wɔaka no annyan kosii mfe apem no akyi.
(The rest of the dead were not restored to life till the thousand years were ended.) This is the First Resurrection.
6 Nhyira bebree nka wɔn a wodii kan nyan wɔn fii awufo mu no. Owu a ɛto so abien no nni wɔn so tumi. Wɔbɛyɛ Onyankopɔn ne Kristo asɔfo. Na wɔne no bedi ahene mfe apem.
Blessed and holy will he be who shares in that First Resurrection. The second Death has no power over them; but they will be priests of God, and the Christ, and they will reign with him for the thousand years.
7 Mfe apem no akyi na wobeyi ɔbonsam afi afiase hɔ;
When the thousand years are ended, Satan will be let loose from his prison,
8 na ɔbɛkɔ akɔdaadaa aman a ɛwɔ wiase nyinaa a ɛyɛ Gog ne Magog. Ɔbonsam bɛboaboa wɔn a wɔn dodow bɛyɛ sɛ mpoano nwea ano de wɔn akɔ ɔko.
and he will come out to deceive the nations that live in ‘the four corners of the earth — Gog and Magog.’ He will come to gather them together for battle; and their number will be as great as the sand on the sea-shore.
9 Wotuu sa kɔɔ asase so nyinaa kotwaa Onyankopɔn nkurɔfo atenae a ɛyɛ ɔman a ɔdɔ no no ho hyiae. Nanso ogya fi ɔsoro bɛsɛee wɔn.
They went up over the breadth of the whole earth, and surrounded the camp of Christ’s People and the beloved city. Then fire fell from the heavens and consumed them;
10 Na wɔtow ɔbonsam a ɔdaadaa wɔn no nso too ogya tare ne sufre a wɔde aboa no ne atoro odiyifo no agu mu no mu. Na wɔbɛyɛ wɔn ayayade awia ne anadwo daa daa. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
and the Devil, their deceiver, was hurled into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the Beast and the false Prophet already were, and they will be tortured day and night for ever and ever. (aiōn , Limnē Pyr )
11 Afei mihuu ahengua fitaa kɛse bi ne nea ɔte so no. Asase ne ɔsoro guanee wɔ nʼanim, na wɔanhu wɔn bio.
Then I saw a great white throne, and him who was seated on it. ‘The earth and the heavens fled from his presence; no place was left for them.’
12 Na mihuu awufo akɛse ne nketewa sɛ wogyinagyina ahengua no anim. Wobuebuee nhoma bebree mu, na wobuee nhoma foforo bi a ɛyɛ ateasefo nhoma no mu. Wobuu awufo no atɛn, sɛnea wɔn nnwuma te ne sɛnea wɔakyerɛw wɔ nhoma ahorow no mu no.
And I saw the dead, high and low, standing before the throne; and books were opened. Then another book was opened, the Book of Life; and the dead were judged, according to their actions, by what was written in the books.
13 Afei po nso dannan nʼawufo mae. Owu ne asaman nso de wɔn awufo mae. Na wobuu wɔn nyinaa atɛn sɛnea wɔn nnwuma te. (Hadēs )
The sea gave up its dead, and Death and the Lord of the Place of Death gave up their dead; and they were judged, one by one, each according to his actions. (Hadēs )
14 Na wɔtow owu ne asaman guu ogya tare no mu. Saa ogya tare yi ne owuprenu no. (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
Then Death and the Lord of the Place of Death were hurled into the lake of fire. This is the Second Death — the lake of fire; (Hadēs , Limnē Pyr )
15 Na wɔtow obiara a wɔankyerɛw ne din angu nkwa nhoma no mu no kyenee ogya tare no mu. (Limnē Pyr )
and all whose names ‘were not found written in the Book of Life’ were hurled into the lake of fire. (Limnē Pyr )
