1 “Kyerɛw krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfo a otua Efeso asafo no ano, na ka kyerɛ no se: Eyi ne nsɛm a efi obi a okura nsoromma ason wɔ ne nsa nifa mu a ɔnantew wɔ sika akaneadua ason no ntam no hɔ.
“To the messenger of the church in Ephesus write: “These things says He who holds the seven stars on His right hand, who walks about in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
2 Minim nea woayɛ. Minim nsi a wode ayɛ adwuma ne boasetɔ a wowɔ. Minim sɛ wunnye nnebɔneyɛfo, na afei woasɔ wɔn a wɔka se wɔyɛ asomafo nanso wɔnnyɛ bi no ahwɛ, na woahu sɛ wɔyɛ atorofo.
‘I know your works, yes the labor, and your endurance, and that you cannot stand those who are evil. And you have tested those who claim to be apostles and are not, and found them to be liars;
3 Wowɔ boasetɔ, na me nti woahu amane bebree, nanso wompaa abaw ɛ.
and you have born up and endured on account of my name, and not grown weary.
4 Nanso nea mewɔ tia wo ne sɛ, wonnɔ me sɛnea kan no na wodɔ me no.
“‘Nevertheless I have against you that you have left your first love.
5 Hu ba a woaba fam no. Sakra wʼadwene na yɛ sɛnea kan no na woyɛ no. Sɛ woansakra wʼadwene a, mɛba wo nkyɛn na mabeyi wo kaneadua no afi ne sibea.
So think about from where you have drifted and repent, and do the first works, or else I will come at you swiftly and remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you do repent.
6 Nanso nea eye wɔ wo ho ne sɛ, wukyi nea Nikolaifo no yɛ no, na saa ara na me nso mikyi.
But you do have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.’
7 Nea ɔwɔ aso no ntie nea Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo ahorow no. Wɔn a wɔadi nkonim no, mɛma wɔn tumi na wɔadi nkwadua a ɛwɔ Onyankopɔn paradise hɔ.
“He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who overcomes I will grant to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of my God.
8 “Kyerɛw krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfo a otua Smirnaasafo no ano se: Saa asɛm yi fi Ɔkannifo ne Okyikafo no nkyɛn. Nea owui na ɔte ase bio no.
“And to the messenger of the church in Smyrna write: “These things says the First and the Last, who became dead and came to life:
9 Minim amane a wuhu maa Awurade na minim wʼahiasɛm nyinaa nso, nanso wowɔ agyapade wɔ ɔsoro. Minim nsɛm a wɔn a wose wɔyɛ Yudafo nanso wɔnyɛ Yudafo no ka tia wo. Wɔyɛ ɔbonsam hyiadan.
‘I know your works and affliction and poverty (but you are rich), and the slander of those who claim to be Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
10 Nsuro ɔhaw a ɛrebɛto wo no. Tie! Wɔde mo mu bi bɛto afiase na ɔbonsam nam so asɔ mo ahwɛ. Na mo haw bedi nnafua du. Sɛ owu mu mpo a, gye me di na mɛma wo nkwa abotiri.
Do not fear any of the things that you are about to suffer: Take note, the devil is really about to throw some of you into prison, so that you may be tested, and you will have an affliction of ten days. Stay faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life.’
11 Nea ɔwɔ aso no ntie nea Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo no. Wɔn a wodi nkonim no renwu owuprenu.
“He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The one who overcomes will absolutely not be harmed by the second death.
12 “Kyerɛw krataa yi kɔma ɔbɔfo a ɔwɔ Pergamo asafo mu se: Saa krataa yi fi nea ɔwɔ afoa anofanu a ɛyɛ nnam no nkyɛn.
“And to the messenger of the church in Pergamos write: “These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:
13 Minim sɛ faako a wote no, ɛhɔ na ɔbonsam ahengua si. Wudi me nokware; na bere a wokum Antipa a ɔyɛ ɔdanseni nokwafo wɔ faako a ɔbonsam te no mpo, woampa me.
‘I know your works, and where you live, where Satan's throne is. And you hold my name fast and did not deny my faith during the days in which Antipas was my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan lives.
14 Nanso nneɛma kakra a mewɔ tia wo ne sɛ, nnipa bi a wodi Bileam nkyerɛkyerɛakyi no ka wo ho wɔ hɔ. Saa Bileam no na ɔkyerɛɛ Balak ma ɔmaa Israelfo dii abosom so nnuan, kyerɛɛ wɔn aguamammɔ, nam so ma wɔyɛɛ bɔne no.
“‘Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you have there adepts of the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things offered to idols and to fornicate.
15 Saa ara nso na wowɔ nnipa bi ka wo ho a wodi Nikolaifo nkyerɛkyerɛ akyi.
Thus you also have adepts of the doctrine of the Nicolaitans as well.
16 Twe wo ho fi wo bɔne ho. Anyɛ saa a, ɛrenkyɛ biara mɛba wo nkyɛn, na mede afoa a efi mʼanom no abɛko atia saa nnipa no.
Repent! Or else I will come at you swiftly and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.’
17 Nea ɔwɔ aso no ntie nea Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo ahorow no. Mo a moadi nkonim no, mɛma mo mana a ahintaw no bi. Afei, mɛma wɔn mu biara ɔbo fitaa a wɔakyerɛw din foforo wɔ so a obiara nnim, gye onipa a wɔde bɛma no no.
“He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To the one who overcomes I will grant to eat from the hidden manna. And I will give him a white pebble, and on the pebble a new name written, which no one knows except the receiver.
18 “Kyerɛw krataa kɔma ɔbɔfo a ɔwɔ Tiatira asafo mu se: Eyi ne asɛm a efi Onyankopɔn Ba no a nʼani dɛw sɛ ogyatannaa a ne nan ase hyerɛn sɛ asanka no nkyɛn.
“And to the messenger of the church in Thyatira write: “These things says the Son of God, He who has the eyes like a flame of fire and the feet like fine brass:
19 Minim nea woyɛ. Minim wo dɔ, wo gyidi, wo som ne boasetɔ a wowɔ. Minim sɛ woreyɛ adwuma sen kan no.
‘I know your works—the love, the faith, the service—and your endurance; in fact your last works are greater than the first.
20 Nanso nea mewɔ tia wo ne sɛ, wugyee ɔbea bi a ne din de Isabel, a ɔfrɛ ne ho, Onyankopɔn odiyifo no too mu. Saa ɔbea yi kyerɛkyerɛ, na odi mʼasomafo anim ma wɔbɔ aguaman di abosom aduan.
“‘Nevertheless I have against you that you tolerate your wife Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives my slaves to fornicate and to eat things offered to idols.
21 Mama no bere sɛ ɔnsakra mfi ne bɔne mu, nanso ɔmpɛ sɛ ɔsakra fi nʼaguamammɔ mu.
I even gave her time so that she might repent, but she does not want to repent of her fornication.
22 Ɛno nti, sɛ wɔansakra amfi amumɔyɛ a wɔne no yɛe no mu a, mɛtow no ahwe mpa so na ɔno ne wɔn a wɔsɛe aware no ahu amane a ano yɛ den yiye.
So, I am throwing her into a sickbed and those adulterating with her into great affliction, unless they repent of her works.
23 Afei, mekunkum nʼakyidifono, na asafo no nyinaa behu sɛ mene obi a mihu nnipa adwene mu ne wɔn akɔnnɔ. Nea mo mu biara yɛe no, metua no so ka pɛpɛɛpɛ.
And I will execute her children; and all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each one of you according to your works.
24 Nanso mo mu bi a mowɔ Tiatira no nni saa nkyerɛkyerɛ bɔne no akyi. Munsuaa nea afoforo frɛ no, ‘Ɔbonsam asumansɛm’ no. Meka kyerɛ mo se, meremfa adesoa foforo biara nto mo so.
“‘Now to the rest of you who are in Thyatira I say—to as many as do not hold this teaching, those who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say—I will not put any other burden on you;
25 Na munso nea mowɔ no mu dennen nkosi sɛ mɛba.
just hold fast what you have until I come.
26 Wɔn a wodi nkonim na wɔkɔ so yɛ nea mepɛ kosi awiei no, mede tumi koro no ara a minya fii
And as for the one who overcomes and keeps my works until the end, I will give him authority over the nations;

and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron; they will be smashed like clay pots
28 Afei, mede anɔpa nsoromma bɛma wɔn.
—just as I have received from my Father. And I will give him the morning star.’
29 Nea ɔwɔ aso no ntie nea Honhom no ka kyerɛ asafo no.
“He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
