1 Awurade di hene, momma amanaman no ho mpopo; ɔte nʼahengua so wɔ kerubim ntam, ma asase nwosow.
The Lord reigns; let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne above the cherubim; let the earth shake!
2 Awurade a ɔwɔ Sion yɛ ɔkɛse; wɔama no so wɔ amanaman nyinaa mu.
The Lord rules supreme in Zion, he is sovereign over all the nations.
3 Ma wɔnkamfo wo din a ɛso na ɛyɛ nwonwa no, ɔyɛ ɔkronkron.
Let them praise his greatness, and respect him for who he is—for he is holy,
4 Ɔhene no yɛ ɔkɛse, ɔdɔ atɛntrenee, woama pɛpɛyɛ atim; wayɛ nea eye na ɛteɛ wɔ Yakob mu.
having kingly power. You love justice; you make impartial decisions. You have made sure everything is done in fairness and according to what's right.
5 Momma Awurade, yɛn Nyankopɔn so na monsɔre no wɔ ne nan ntiaso anim; ɔyɛ ɔkronkron.
Give respect to the Lord our God! Bow down at his feet, for he is holy!
6 Na Mose ne Aaron ka nʼasɔfo no ho, na Samuel ka wɔn a wɔbɔɔ ne din no ho; wɔfrɛɛ Awurade, na ogyee wɔn so.
Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also prayed to him. They called out to the Lord for help, and he answered them.
7 Ofi omununkum dum mu kasa kyerɛɛ wɔn; wodii mmara ne ahyɛde a ɔmaa wɔn no so.
He spoke to the people from the pillar of cloud, and they kept the laws and decrees he gave them.
8 Awurade, yɛn Nyankopɔn, wugyee wɔn so; woyɛɛ bɔnefakyɛ Nyankopɔn maa Israel, nanso wotwee wɔn aso wɔ wɔn nnebɔne ho.
Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they did wrong.
9 Momma Awurade yɛn Nyankopɔn so na monsɔre no wɔ ne bepɔw kronkron no so, na Awurade yɛn Nyankopɔn yɛ ɔkronkron.
Honor the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain. For the Lord our God is holy!
