1 Nea ɔte Ɔsorosoroni no hintabea no biara bɛhome wɔ Otumfo no nwini ase.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 Mese Awurade se, “Ɔyɛ me guankɔbea ne mʼabandennen, me Nyankopɔn a mewɔ no mu ahotoso.”
I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
3 Ampa ara, obegye wo afi firisumfo afiri ne owuyare mu.

5 Worensuro ɔdasu mu ɔsɛe, anaa bɛmma a etu awia,
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,

They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.
13 Wubetiatia gyata ne aprammiri so, wobɛnantew gyataforo ne ɔwɔ so.
You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.
14 Awurade ka se, “Esiane sɛ ɔdɔ me nti, megye no; mɛbɔ ne ho ban, efisɛ ogye me din to mu.
“Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.
15 Ɔbɛfrɛ me na megye ne so; mɛka ne ho wɔ amanehunu mu, megye no na mahyɛ no anuonyam.
He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.
16 Mɛma nkwa nna a ɛware amee no na makyerɛ no me nkwagye.”
I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation [yeshuah-ti].”
