< Nnwom 85 >
1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Koramma dwom. Wo Awurade, wodom wʼasase; wode Yakob ahonyade san maa no.
To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Wode wo nkurɔfo bɔne kyɛɛ wɔn na wokataa wɔn nnebɔne nyinaa so.
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
3 Wode wʼabufuw nyinaa too nkyɛn na wodan fii wʼabufuwhyew ho.
Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.
4 San gye yɛn bio, Onyankopɔn, yɛn Gyefo, na ma wʼani nnye yɛn ho.
Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5 Wo bo befuw yɛn akosi daa ana? Wʼabufuw bɛtoa so akɔ awo ntoantoaso nyinaa so ana?
Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6 Worenhyɛ yɛn den bio, na ama wo nkurɔfo asɛpɛw wɔn ho wɔ wo mu ana?
Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Awurade, kyerɛ yɛn wo dɔ a ɛnsa da no, na ma yɛn wo nkwagye no.
Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
8 Metie nea Awurade Nyankopɔn bɛka; ɔde asomdwoe hyɛ ne nkurɔfo, ahotefo no bɔ, enti ɛnsɛ sɛ wɔsan kɔ agyimisɛm ho.
I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Ampa ara, ne nkwagye bɛn wɔn a wosuro no, na nʼanuonyam bɛtena yɛn asase so.
Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Ɔdɔ ne nokwaredi behyia, na trenee ne asomdwoe befew wɔn ho wɔn ho ano.
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].
11 Nokwaredi bepue afi asase no so, na trenee ahwɛ afi ɔsoro.
Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Awurade bɛma yɛn nea eye ampa ara na yɛn asase bɛma ne nnɔbae.
Yea, the LORD shall give [that which is] good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Trenee di nʼanim siesie ɔkwan ma nʼanammɔntu.
Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps.
