1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Wɔde sanku na ɛto. Asaf dwom. Onyankopɔn din ahyeta wɔ Yuda; ne din so wɔ Israel.
To him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme or song committed to Asaph. God is knowen in Iudah: his Name is great in Israel.
2 Ne ntamadan si Salem, ne tenabea wɔ Sion.
For in Shalem is his Tabernacle, and his dwelling in Zion.
3 Ɛhɔ na obubuu mmemma a ɛpa gya, nkatabo ne afoa, akode nyinaa mu.
There brake he the arrowes of the bowe, the shielde and the sword and the battell. (Selah)
4 Wo ho hann no hyerɛn, na woso sen mmepɔw a mmoadoma ahyɛ mu ma no.
Thou art more bright and puissant, then the mountaines of pray.
5 Mmarima akokodurufo deda hɔ a wɔagye wɔn ho nneɛma, wɔadeda awufo nna; na akofo no mu baako mpo ntumi mma ne nsa so.
The stout hearted are spoyled: they haue slept their sleepe, and all the men of strength haue not found their hands.
6 Yakob Nyankopɔn, wokaa wɔn anim no apɔnkɔ no ne nteaseɛnam no adeda dinn.
At thy rebuke, O God of Iaakob, both the chariot and horse are cast a sleepe.
7 Wo nko ara na ɛsɛ sɛ wosuro wo. Sɛ wo bo fuw a hena na obetumi agyina wʼanim?
Thou, euen thou art to be feared: and who shall stand in thy sight, when thou art angrie!
8 Wubuu atɛn fii ɔsoro, asase suroe, na ɛyɛɛ komm,
Thou didest cause thy iudgement to bee heard from heauen: therefore the earth feared and was still,
9 bere a wo, Onyankopɔn, sɔre buu atɛn, de gyee amanehunufo wɔ asase no so no.
When thou, O God, arose to iudgement, to helpe all the meeke of the earth. (Selah)
10 Ampa ara wʼabufuwhyew a etia nnipa no de ayeyi brɛ wo, na wɔn a wotumi gyina ano no nya kɔkɔbɔ.
Surely the rage of man shall turne to thy praise: the remnant of the rage shalt thou restrayne.
11 Monhyɛ Awurade mo Nyankopɔn no bɔ na munni so; momma nsase a atwa ne ho ahyia mfa ayɛyɛde mmrɛ Ɔbaako a ɛsɛ sɛ wosuro no no.
Vowe and performe vnto the Lord your God, all ye that be rounde about him: let them bring presents vnto him that ought to be feared.
12 Ɔbrɛ sodifonom honhom ase; na asase so ahemfo suro no.
He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the Kings of the earth.
