< Nnwom 62 >
1 Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. De ma Yedutun. Dawid dwom. Me kra wɔ ahomegye wɔ Onyankopɔn nko ara mu; me nkwagye fi ne nkyɛn.
To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.
2 Ampa, ɔyɛ me botan ne me nkwagye; ɔyɛ mʼabandennen, hwee renhinhim me da.
He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 Mobɛkɔ so ahyɛ onipa so akosi da bɛn, mo nyinaa besum me ahwe fam ana? Ɔfasu a akyea yi, ban a ɛrebu yi?
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall [shall ye be], [and as] a tottering fence.
4 Ampa, wɔayɛ adwene se wobetu no afi ne dibea a ɛkorɔn no so; wɔn ani gye atorodi ho. Wɔde wɔn ano hyira na wɔn koma mu de, wɔdome.
They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellence: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
5 Yiw me kra, gye wʼahome wɔ Onyankopɔn nko ara mu; na ne mu na mʼanidaso wɔ.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.
6 Ampa, ɔyɛ me botan ne me nkwagye; ɔyɛ mʼabandennen, hwee renhinhim me.
He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defense; I shall not be moved.
7 Me nkwagye ne mʼanuonyam gyina Onyankopɔn so; ɔyɛ me botan a ɛkorɔn, ne me guankɔbea.
In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.
8 Mo nnipa, momfa mo ho nto ne so daa; monka mo koma mu nsɛm nyinaa nkyerɛ no, efisɛ Onyankopɔn ne yɛn guankɔbea.
Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. (Selah)
9 Nnipa nyinaa te sɛ home; akɛse ne nkumaa nyinaa nka hwee; sɛ wɔkari wɔn wɔ nsania so a, wɔnka hwee; wɔn nyinaa bɔ mu a wɔyɛ home nko.
Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity.
10 Mommfa mo ho nto asisi so na monnhoahoa mo ho akorɔnne ho; ɛwɔ mu sɛ mo ahonya dɔɔso de, nanso mommfa mo koma nto so.
Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [upon them].
11 Asɛm baako na Onyankopɔn aka, nsɛm abien na mate sɛ, wo, Onyankopɔn, na wowɔ ahoɔden,
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] to God.
12 na wo, Awurade, na woyɛ adɔe, ampa ara wubetua obiara ka sɛnea nʼadwuma te.
Also to thee, O LORD, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
