1 Dawid dwom. Momfa mma Awurade no, mo ɔsoro abɔde, momfa anuonyam ne tumi mma Awurade.

A Psalm of David [on the occasion] of the solemn assembly of the Tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, you sons of God, bring to the Lord young rams; bring to the Lord glory and honor.

2 Momfa anuonyam a ɛfata Awurade din mma no; monsɔre Awurade wɔ nʼanuonyam kronkron mu.

Bring to the Lord glory, [due] to his name; worship the lord in his holy court.

3 Awurade nne wɔ nsu no so; anuonyam Nyankopɔn bobɔ mu, Awurade bobɔ mu wɔ nsu akɛse so.

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory has thundered: the Lord is upon many waters.

4 Awurade nne mu wɔ tumi; Awurade nne mu wɔ anuonyam.

The voice of the Lord is mighty; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.

5 Awurade nne bubu sida; Awurade nne bubu Lebanon sida mu nketenkete

[There is] the voice of the Lord who breaks the cedars; the Lord will break the cedars of Libanus.

6 Ɔma Lebanon huruhuruw te sɛ nantwi ba, na Sirion nso sɛ ɛko ba.

And he will beat them small, [even] Libanus itself, like a calf; and the beloved one is as a young unicorn.

7 Awurade nne pa ma anyinam gya dɛw.

[There is] a voice of the Lord who divides a flame of fire.

8 Awurade nne wosow sare so; Awurade wosow Kades sare.

A voice of the Lord who shakes the wilderness; the Lord will shake the wilderness of Cades.

9 Awurade nne kyinkyim adum na ɛma kwae yɛ kwaterekwa. Nʼasɔredan mufo nyinaa teɛ mu ka se, “Anuonyam nka Onyankopɔn!”

The voice of the Lord strengthens the hinds, and will uncover the thickets: and in his temple every one speaks [of his] glory.

10 Awurade di hene wɔ nsuyiri so; wɔasi Awurade hene afebɔɔ.

The Lord will dwell on the waterflood: and the Lord will sit a king for ever.

11 Awurade ma ne nkurɔfo ahoɔden, na ɔde asomdwoe hyira wɔn. Dwom a wɔto de buee Asɔredan no ano.

The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
