< Nnwom 25 >
1 Dawid dwom. Awurade, me Nyankopɔn, wo mu na mede me werɛ hyɛ.
BY DAVID. [ALEPH-BET] To You, O YHWH, I lift up my soul.
2 Wo so, me Nyankopɔn, na mede me ho to, mma mʼanim ngu ase, na mma mʼatamfo nso nni me so nkonim.
My God, in You I have trusted, Do not let me be ashamed, Do not let my enemies exult over me.
3 Wɔn a wɔde wɔn ho to wo so no mu biara anim rengu ase da, mmom, wɔn a wɔyɛ kɔntɔnkye kwa no anim begu ase.
Also let none waiting on You be ashamed, Let the treacherous dealers without cause be ashamed.
4 Kyerɛ me wʼakwan, Awurade, na minhu wʼatempɔn.

5 Fa wo nokware no so kyerɛkyerɛ me, efisɛ woyɛ Onyankopɔn, me Gyefo, na mʼani da wo so daa nyinaa.
Cause me to tread in Your truth, and teach me, For You [are] the God of my salvation, Near You I have waited all the day.
6 Kae, Awurade, wo mmɔborɔhunu ne wo dɔ kɛse a ɛwɔ hɔ fi tete no.
Remember Your mercies, O YHWH, And Your kindnesses, for they [are] from the age.
7 Nkae me mmabun bere mu bɔne ne mʼatuatew akwan; kae me sɛnea wʼadɔe te, Awurade, efisɛ wuye.
Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, Do not remember. According to Your kindness be mindful of me, For Your goodness’ sake, O YHWH.
8 Awurade ye na ɔteɛ; enti ɔkyerɛkyerɛ nnebɔneyɛfo nʼakwan.
Good and upright [is] YHWH, Therefore He directs sinners in the way.
9 Ɔde ahobrɛasefo fa ɔkwan pa so na ɔkyerɛ wɔn nʼapɛde.
He causes the humble to tread in judgment, And teaches the humble His way.
10 Awurade akwan nyinaa yɛ ɔdɔ ne nokwaredi ma wɔn a wodi nʼapam mu ahyɛde so.
All the paths of YHWH [are] kindness and truth, To those keeping His covenant, And His testimonies.
11 Awurade, me bɔne so de, nanso wo din nti, fa kyɛ me.
For Your Name’s sake, O YHWH, You have pardoned my iniquity, for it [is] great.
12 Enti hena ne onipa a osuro Awurade? Ɔbɛkyerɛ no ɔkwan a wabɔ ama no.
Who [is] this—the man fearing YHWH? He directs him in the way He chooses.
13 Obedi yiye wɔ ne nkwanna mu, na nʼasefo afa asase no sɛ wɔn agyapade.
His soul remains in good, And his seed possesses the land.
14 Awurade da nʼatirimsɛm adi kyerɛ wɔn a wosuro no; na ɔma wohu nʼapam.
The secret of YHWH [is] for those fearing Him, And His covenant—to cause them to know.
15 Mʼani da Awurade so daa, efisɛ ɔno nko ara na obeyi mʼanan afi afiri mu.
My eyes [are] continually to YHWH, For He brings my feet out from a net.
16 Dan wʼani hwɛ me, na dom me, efisɛ meyɛ ankonam na meyɛ mmɔbɔ.
Turn to me, and favor me, For I [am] lonely and afflicted.
17 Me koma mu dadwen adɔɔso; yi me dadwen fi me so.
The distresses of my heart have enlarged themselves, Bring me out from my distresses.
18 Hwɛ me haw ne mʼahohiahia na yi me bɔne nyinaa fi me so.
See my affliction and my misery, And bear with all my sins.
19 Hwɛ sɛnea mʼatamfo adɔɔso ne ɔtan kɛse a wɔde tan me!
See my enemies, for they have been many, And they have hated me with violent hatred.
20 Bɔ me nkwa ho ban na gye me; mma mʼanim ngu ase, efisɛ me guankɔbea ne wo.
Keep my soul, and deliver me, Do not let me be ashamed, for I trusted in You.
21 Ma trenee ne nokware mmɔ me ho ban, efisɛ mʼani da wo so.
Integrity and uprightness keep me, For I have waited [on] You.
22 Gye Israel, Onyankopɔn, fi wɔn haw nyinaa mu.
Redeem Israel, O God, from all his distresses!
